Contrary to popular belief, each manufacturer has their issues and most are expensive to fix. Overall, based on CR evaluation of data and user ratings Ram is better than Ford in terms of reliability. Ford is below average while Ram is average. Look at a similar video for Ford and GM, and you will get introduced to their “problems.”

It's still the best truck I've ever driven. Mine is lifted 4" and riding on 35s. I also have Borla exhaust. It's my baby TRX or my hillbilly hotrod.

My 2015 ram and my current 2021 ram would be great if they came with umbrellas. Gen 4 and Gen 5 developed leaks from the rear glass seals. Nothing like spending 50k plus for a truck that’s going to have water leaking into within two to three years. Mold everywhere at no extra cost.

I have a 2013 dodge ram, stay on top of maintenance and you should have many good years with your truck make sure you change the oil every 3,000 miles, I have a 109000 mi on my truck and the only thing that went out is the anti-lock brakes system, they will not replace it because I change my own oil. The warranties for dodge ram suck. I love my truck. Also when you change your spark plugs do not use the dealer spark plugs they suck. Try to buy iridium spark plugs or double platinum

Tick Tick Tick...the Hemi engine is a ticking time bomb if you tend to let it idle frequently...RAM needs to fix the lack of oil lube to the lifters (over a decade old issue). The exhaust manifolds are still breaking the studs off in the block. Owners of a RAM may want to consider upgrading the manifolds before the studs start breaking. For shame on RAM for not using better stock manifolds.

its a shame you can’t afford to let it idle when even waiting for a train. When it’s 92 and humid that would suck to have to sit with the window down cause you don’t want to take a chance with the engine idling

2019 Rebel, 89k miles. I've only had to replace 2 fuel injectors. The screen has gone black a few times over the years but works fine the next time I start it. The backup camera has had moving lines in it but only a handful of times also. I think that's not too bad for its age and mileage.

I'm still driving my 2004 Dodge ram 1500 quad cab. It's got the millennial anti-theft device AKA 5-speed manual transmission and regular maintenance, occasional, minor repairs 90% of which I can do myself, and a new radiator at 130,000 miles and a new rack around the same time and it drives like new. I'm going to drive this thing forever. The only issue I have with the thing is that silly cheap clear coat they put on back then so the horizontal surfaces look like it's got eczema. 😶

Funny how Americans, a nation basically born in cars and driving for generations don't really know how to drive. Your lane discipline on highways is pitiful, drivers in cities are aggressive and selfish and overall no regard for rules and regulations on the road. Plus of course nobody can drive a manual transmission car. Everyone I know from central, eastern EU is in deep shock on how bad it actually is there.

@@tsmith4719 It's my understanding that it's unwise to turn it off, only way I'm aware of you can even do that is with a tuner. Doing so with the computer will cause lubrication issue, if the solenoid aren't toggled then oil is not moving throughout the passage ways. I most likely did a horrible job explaining it but review videos from Reignited. There is a true MDS removal process if you want to do it right, not cheap.
