Bought one as well here's another finance tip, I leased it, dropped the price from 60 to 43. then after 3 months was able to pay it off or you can refi with a standard loan, saved 18 k off of sticker. went in with a big horn budget but was able to upgrade to the Laramie for the big horn price, got the giant sun roof and all kinds of extras that the big horn doers not come with. ask the dealer.
it was the sales gals idea. there are also many other really innovative ideas in this truck I have not seen covered in any video. by the way it tows like a boss, My excursion had trouble with my boat, even though it had the 10 cylinder engine. the 1500 in tow mode pulls up the hills like there is nothing back there, the MPG goes way down though but that's to be expected

The new Ram is so gorgeous I can’t get enough of it!
My MSRP came out to $60,250 and I negotiated my dealership down to $53,376. Just wanted to throw that out there so people know the dealer margins are huge on these, and even brand new you should be able to haggle at least $6k off the MSRP. Some people have been pretty sticker-shocked at the pricing so I think it's an important piece of info to know! Great video, by the way -- I really appreciate that you made it!

Great video. Love the yellow hand. Watched both the Laramie and Big Horn video. Great detail on the trucks. My 2007 Tacoma got rear-ended and bent the frame. So looking at the new Ram as a replacement vehicle. Your two videos answered a lot of my questions about options and thank you for showing the Window Sticker of both vehicles! Since I tend to keep my vehicles for as long as I can, thinking of going with the Laramie with similar package, just 4x2 instead.

Hi Mike, new subscriber here! This was a great review video. I have seen the others.....FULL REVIEW! and they're 8 minutes long. You went into great detail and that is what I like to see. I have been a Mopar fan for many years, and this will be my next truck, but with bucket seats and a center console. Oh, I think the little yellow hand is a great idea! Makes it easy when you are holding a camera rig and need to point something out. Kinda off topic a bit but, a dear friend of mine lives in Belmont, North Carolina. This is such a nice truck! Dodge really out did themselves with this one. Im not really a truck guy, but after seeing the unveiling of this truck I want one! Cant wait to see this on a lift kit with some fuel or rhino wheels!

I love the new ram truck I had mine for a week now this is my first ram ever I chose this over the Ford f 150 Platinum the dealer had it for like 60 grand I ended up getting it for 53 grand now the only problem I have is my radio doesn't have navigation system but I can add it down the road other love my new truck ram laramie

I got a ram 1500 as a rental car while my grand cherrokee was being repaired for a recall it had the HEMI engine in it but it was a huge truck i got the previous model as a rental i had to park my two other cars in the garage just for it to fit in my driveway and even then it couldn’t fit well in the driveway it extended to the street so my hoa wrote me a letter saying that i was blocking the street and that they would tow it but I told them that it’s a rental car and that if they tow it i would report them for theft

The larger screen is optional on the higher trims from what I understand.

I just bought a 2019 Laramie, in Canada, for $53,505 ($41,000 US). That's $22,500 ($17,200 US) below MRSP! ($76,000 CDN/$58,000 US) That's about 30% off MSRP.
Never owned a non-GM vehicle before. This thing is a "loyalty" changer, for sure.

There are several useful links in the description including full detailed specifications.
It's not in there, only the manufacturer's inflated number of 2300lbs or the stripped out (roll up window) version of the crew cab 4x4 of 1750lbs. You don't have any info on the actual door sticker, if you are a truck guy you care about actual numbers not what the dealer tells you on a brochure. This is especially important since the Laramie will probably be one of the better selling trims. Leather and a touchscreen are not as light as air.

Copied Ford on blind spot in the taillight. Even so, I think this truck is gorgeous. Wouldn't want a eTorque system or electronic handle for tail gate but that's me.
Dustin Hart I believe it's the same system that Ford uses. And the only place the radar sensors can be are in the taillights because they need to be away from any metal that would obstruct their view.

I HATE the electronic emergency break feature. I want the old push break back. It was the 1 thing i have in my truck that i know will help me stop if my beaks go out or the computer is flawed and i can no longer stop by pressing the regular break. So now i feel vulnerable when i drive knowing that i cant override anything this truck might do in the future. Anyone can hack the computer or a flaw can be present, and i can't over ride the the brakes by pressing down on the the emergency break pedal anymore... pissed off.! 2nd ) i hate it when i open my door in drive or reverse mode and the emergency break applies... Come on, stop with all the safety bullshit, every truck owner has to at some time open the door and reverse when their in the mud or trying to line up a precise reverse move... their should be a disable feature for this. I hope Dodge is reading this, because when i trade this in in 3 years, im not buying another truck that has no e-brake pedal and the auto apply break feature when the door opens...... its not Dodges job to judge every safety move its customers make, were big boys, we don't need all this extra safety bull shit.... its a truck, not a luxury car... its meant to be worked and used in multiple ways unlike any car.... DAMN!!

if you compare apples to apples, lariat to Laramie, 52k isn't much on a truck anymore dude, besides for 52Gs on a f150 you won't a pano roof either with the 502A package and your already over 53K, if you don't get the package you won't even get leds which are standard on the new ram. you want a nice truck get prepared to pay over 60k its just how it is
Who cares about sunroofs, who finds the lack of bucket seats a bad thing in a truck, and who doesnt use their phone for Google Maps anyways. Lmfao bitching just to bitch.
+Mike Sunroofs are nice till they leak, or a nice storm decides to sling objects into it. There's plenty of front storage here and I got test one of these, those seats are amazingly comfortable. Still 12 way powered, and heated/cooled too, and it's got apple/android auto you can just use you're phone's GPS which is most of the time better anyway.
That's why they have a USB in the console with a routed wire tot he phone holder.
Also Ford is still expensive. If you want a crew cab $52 is only going to get you a XLT! That's not even a loaded one, might get 4x4 and a 5.0 V8 but that's really it. You still even get that basic 4" sync radio, not even sync 3.
I've seen 2019 Laramie like this one knocked down to $43-45K, so Ram is still very bang for your buck compared to Ford. Plus this one of the trims that can get have the full towing capacity at 12.750lbs.
