've Just Seen A Face"
I've just seen a face
I can't forget the time or place
Where we just met
She's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see
We've met, mmm-mmm-mmm-m'mmm-mmm
Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
And I'd have never been aware
But as it is I'll dream of her
Tonight, di-di-di-di'n'di
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
I have never known
The like of this, I've been alone
And I have missed things
And kept out of sight
But other girls were never quite
Like this, da-da-n'da-da'n'da
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
I've just seen a face
I can't forget the time or place
Where we just met
She's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see
We've met, mmm-mmm-mmm-da-da-da
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again
Oh, falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling
Me back again

Track "The Beatles"
on Bandsintown
Writer(s): Lennon John Winston, McCartney Paul James
This song is one of the few band's songs without the bass guitar, although it was written by Paul McCartney, the band's bass player.
Paul McCartney's aunt Gin liked this song, and its working title was "Auntie Gin's Theme". McCartney himself liked it and played it on many live performances during his solo career as one of his favourite Beatles' songs.
This song is one of the few country songs written by Paul McCartney, however it has a much faster tempo which resembles bluegrass.
"I've Just Seen A Face" was covered numerous time, e.g. by Johnny Rivers on his live album "Last Boogie in Paris" (1974), by David Lee Roth during his "Skyscraper" tour (1988).
