You dont need to remove all that to adjust the parking break. You just need to remove 1 lug nut and rotate the tire until you line the hole to the gear. Its all in the bmw e36 workshop manual.
at 30 years of age a bit of grease is generally needed to get them moving again, so removing them may be necessary, they were for me as mine were stuck from brake gunk.
Hey man, love the video! If I had already adjusted the parking brake from the rotors when doing hats, can I skip that step and just do the attachment to the lever? Or would I need to readjust?
Yoooo what block off plate do you have for where the radio was? Also, your setup is nice but Nerptech sells a similar setup for $50 and utilizes a drift button that threads onto the rod to prevent locking and you can still keep an emergency brake too.
To adjust it you don't even need to take the caliper and disc off...you can adjust it through the wheel bolts holes with a screw driver. ....in case you dont know. but maybe you just wanted to show how it works and looks from the inside... :)
What's the difference between adjusting cable tension at the handbrake lever and adjusting the calipers? My handbrake is pretty weak, I tightened the cable at the handbrake lever and then it was on all the time. So had to loosen it again.
I always wondered why you never got poly windows from condor for the 36. They finally came out for the compact not too long ago and I picked up a set of two for 140$. Less than a single regulator lol
I just set up my handbrake to lock yesterday, I've put new cables in and new shoes, I greased all of the metal parts for the shoes up, can't get it to lock up? Have I done anything wrong or do the shoes just need to bed in? It's improved the handbrake for sure.. but no locky locky😂
What handbrake shoes did you use? I’ve found the oem ones are a bit too hard of a compound to lock well. I’ve also found that the shoes need a good amount of cycles to lock more effectively. It doesn’t really lock well going straight only when turning or in drift. Also warm the shoes first by dragging the handbrake while moving.
How do you get Your tires to LOCK when you pull Your ebrake with the stock settup.. i cant Seem to make mine lock up with brake shoes. I’ve seen people getting a second rear caliper But i dont wanna go that far. Whats the trick? Tight brake cable and shoes? I feel like i’ve tried everything
the handbrake braking system can't support drifting in a long run and it'll break that's why hydraulic e breaks is advisable for drifting so you won't break your handbreaks
I love the engine in the E36. Such sound, much reliability! Love it!
It’s cult x vans bmx grip😂 My friend had these😂

hope you realize its a lot easier to do with the wheel off
no way i just finished adjusting it hoons way and i come inside and see this comment 🤦♂️ damn near stripped the bracket bolt getting it off
I just can't wait for the E46 to be in the videos🔥
That cold start tho ! 🥶
Just want to say this is actually a REALLY high quality video !
That golf cart had some serious angle going on there. I’m seeing a drift cart coming soon👀
Love your channel! Keep it up! Would love to see some a video about what angle kit you are running or what you did to get your angle etc. Thank you!!
This stuff is so relaxing to watch
Loved the vid man! Keep it up
We love guide videos!! Are drift tips and tricks next 🧐
Nico you a blessing 🙏
That’s a much easier method than trying to flick that adjuster through a tiny hole with the drum still on thanks for this
Me:doing homework

Very informative video! Keep it up!
I don’t even have a bmw but I love all your videos so it’s fine

That ending is hilarious
Love ur vids bro keep up the good work.

I ordered a hydro handbrake but been getting use to the stock brake. I may just keep it and do the same setup as yours
i think the hydro is still a better option then this mod.
smooth operator with the tire flip up lol

You would be correct, I just like to take it off to get a good feel of how close the brake shoes are to the rotor.

What size peice of metal did you use for the handbrake brotha
what size is the pipe? I use a 25mm pipe and the the grip don’t fit well
you use 23/22 mm?
When do you plan to continue the e46?
Aye man wtf. You said brake shoes were gonna be 20$ at AZ and they were 26$. False info. This dood a fraud.
Lmao all love/jokes g. Love the content
Btw you dont need to remve your rotor, just put a screwdriver in the bolt hole and adjust.
I think he did that to demonstrate how everything works and also its easier to spin the gear with the rotor off
@@landuXD yea, he did a great job, the comment was just to let everyone know that you dont actualy need to take the rotor off. Just a time saver.

How does yours hold up in the rain? Any leaks?
I JUST POSTED A VIDEO ON HOW YOU CAN MAKE IT LOCK FOR WHEN YOU WANNA PARK IT
Hi ,what brand of hantbrake pads?

@@HoonGarage thank you man, oem shoes
Hey man I’m hoping to make one just like your handle. Did you figure out a way to secure the hand brake if you park on a hill?
I just park the car in gear, it keeps the car locked
@@HoonGarage ok ok if I’m going to ask someone to bend the pipe to the same degree as you. What pipe did you use, did they supply it?
bro excuse me, if a hill is too much bias does car rolling on a gear?

How is the e46 coming along?
Where was the first extended handle from??
Do you have steering angle kit on this white car ?
Would this work on a F30?🤔
would this work on an e82? or do you know any options for e82 besides hydro?
does this work for the e46 m3?
Where’s the e46 videos at
Abs off? Or still on
Is your bmw stock ?
music from intro?
i have done the same but no locking on dry streets...
You are nice bro
Nice bmw
how do you stop if the hand brake dont stay up
You leave the car in gear when stopped
goat
so how do u park it without it rolling??
Always park in gear

hey how many horsepower is this engine
Like 180 crank
Autozones life time on pads
Where’s the e46?
Tesla cold start 🤌 perfecto
😍😍😍😍😍
where my early gang at
Did you know you can adjust that handbrake by just removing one lug nut? Even can leave the wheel on.
I can testify to this. It’s just way harder to stick a screwdriver in there and turn it. Def a time saver though.
bro,your face to 12:21 ....
Noti😈
Gang gang👊🏼
The gear is adjustable thru the lug bolt hole. And 3 months is terrible longevity for a brake shoe. Three years is more legit.
boat
I bet you BMW owners sit on them too
Damn my car literally shit itself
Bro, Bmw is Rwd so you don't need handbrake for drifting-
Tell me that you know nothing about drifting with out telling me that you know nothing about drifting
@@Adi77 bro, with my bmw 320i i can drift without handbrake..
but then how do u park it, like how do u make it not roll when the car is turned off?
