Y'know, everyone know this car because NFS Most Wanted 2005 instead Le Mans racing, right? And so did I. At first, I thought it was just a custom BMW M3, till I realized that BMW M3 GTR was, indeed, a Le Mans car! Kinda weird to see it on the street, cuz it's technically not street legal, even Cross said that. And it's shame why Razor is credited as owner of M3 GTR, even though it actually belongs to MW player till it abandoned in Carbon and somehow ends in High Speed Task Force's illegal export list.

here's a fact for you- the sound you actually listen in your game the nfs mw is actually not a m3 but a tvr cerbura, they both are the basically the same engine but the gtr has a higher redline. also if you see your local files the name of the file says "tvr-crebu" which expalins it.

It’s an extremely well rounded car judging by how violently it accelerates and takes corners
The weight distribution of the car was smartly done. The concentrated the weight onto the front wheels, then added a spoiler to keep the back wheels glued to the blacktop. It made the car extremely agile and responsive around corners.

@@LEMON3705 like what else they can do. They didn't even wanna show what the engine of M3 gtr looks like that they even released the street version of the car with a different engine. And just dumped the model only after 1 successful season. Best way to smash the heck out of Porsche.
This BMW is perhaps the most legendary of all BMWs. This car deserves to be remembered as the most famous car from video games. No one could immortalize this machine better than EA Black Box.

My dad installed me gtr 2 game on my pc when i was a kid, i love this car and porsche 996 is my favorite car. In my opinion the sound of this car is more accurate in the gtr 2 than the nfs mw.
I never complete nfs mw cause i don't really liked the police chase thing. last time before i stopped playing that game, my progress is on blacklist 6 or 4 if im not mistaken, i don't really remember is a long long time ago.

Also starter usually take x amount of hp to run it so. In a racing application (back then). It's better to get rid of it to prevent more parasitic losses in the engine.
yall talk about bmw m3 gtr is the real race car and not street legal. Did you guys know, Cross car is also a real race car in most wanted. Its corvette C6.R GT3, before turn into normal C6 in Carbon. it's too bad its not as famous as his biggest competitor.

Maybe because this car is specificly designed for racing and not for the street where you can just crash easily with this car?
it's not only dangerous on the street, but it also doesn't meet fuel efficiency regulations, but with some minor tweaks it'd be street legal
it's just that BMW had to do more to meet standards that manufacturers had to comply with
