I remember Hans in the 3.0 CSL "Batmobile" -- for my money BMW's greatest car/driver combo.
That sound. That driving. That lofi camera making you feel like you're in the car on that caroussel ride... EPIC 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Oh my, Hahaha. In the beginning he says "no hurry, I'm just warming the tires", yet he is already driving faster than I ever have. Amazing. Thanks for the ride along.
Just amazing. What a driver, the skill is on another level. Thanks for the upload! 9.years later, and it's an experience
Nice! In NFS Carbon sound amazing! Listen in: 0:56, 1:49, 3:23
Also, you can hear some exact sounds from this video in the Most Wanted 2005 intro (where the racer first meets Mia) lol
6:22 my favorite part of the track and i loooooove how the engine and the gearbox sounds, is so amazing. Hans make me believe than a i can drive very well when i turn 50 years old.
i get emotional every time i watch this video. Hans is such a legend.
A legendary car and a legendary driver!
Feels like a lap of any track with Hans driving and I'd learn everything there is to know. Coming back to this video occasionally is fun.
Jesus what a ride. There's nothing like watching a master at work
these downshifts sound like explosions, amazing
Damn!! The downshifts at 10:19
literally perfection
The car sounds so amazing. The commentary was entertaining and the driving was perfect! Legendary Hans!
He's a great driver but a great commentator also!
Gorgeous Nordschleife lap and with cold tires and slow cars as obstacles. That car is amazing and the driver is one with it.
wow....thats a while ago...but one hell of a ride.....full throttle all the way...haha...great stuff "Strietzel"....
Hans has the charisma that makes this entertaining as much as it is thrilling. He's a literal legend in racing, and cars as well.
Jesus ... the Sound is real! just like NFS MW! i thought the engine sound was a fictional made synthetic sound on the game but it was real all the damn time !! ... MR Hans, i salute your greatness.
BOY THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!! HIS NARRATION IS LIKE IT'S ALMOST AS IF YOU WERE THERE
this was a nice experience.
I was able to feel the high speed curves and the wind of how fast this car was.
This is the most exciting lap I’ve seen on the ring
This video + the Ruf Yellowbird video. On loop. Forever
This video is like hypnosis, almost impossible to stop it
The best helpful video for the nurburgring! I must memorise all of his commentaries on every corner.
Well, that's a lot ':D
You probably don't have the same car be careful :)
Stay OFF the Kerbs and you will come home WITH your car. I did it in 2016, use your mirrors ALOT! faster cars will pass on the Left(German Highway laws apply on the Ring) and Don't chase the 10 minute lap(Holy Grail for most petrol heads).
I am practicing on Nordschleife in RaceRoom Racing Experience almost everyday and I really in love with classic DTM cars and I think I am pretty good at it but this... this is perfection. I wish I was born in that time just to see that racing alive. Even from this video I have noticed many small but interesting things.
Respect to Hans-Joachim Stuck. Legend.
Amazing he could give that commentary while driving without getting out of breath!
(sssh… it's fake)
Hans stuck is a race killer more like a real hero from a game!!!
the reaction of him correcting the oversteer moments is nuts... what a driver !
This car, OH! I almost forgot to breath, especially during the long straight! I was glued to this video and watched it until the end! That noise the car makes is so, SO gooood and cool!
I can say for certain that i became a BMW M3 GTR enjoyer. This car right here is definitely one of the cars that marked an entire generation! Sad that BMW no longer makes this car. This car if it was driven today it would make all the other cars clear out of the way, as this car asserts it's dominance over the virgin electric cars and the generic looking cars that all look the same nowadays.
That man is such a talent. Puts most drivers to shame today, and that was an incredible lap. Terrifying. I got to see him race the IMSA GTO Audi quattro long ago. His style was relentless.
