I did this same thing to my 20th Anniversary Slave I!! I really wasn't a fan of the boxy look of it so I smoothed the front section out with some 2X4 slope curved bricks, and faded some of the detail that connected to some boxier sections with smaller slopes and wedges. Love how yours turned out and that you were able to fit so many characters in the cockpit!

So happy i got this set, hardly any more expensive than msrp (10 or 15€ more) even tho its already 5 years old. Was really surprised it didn’t skyrocket in price yet. Its got to be one of the best looking and coolest Lego Star Wars sets of all time.

It’s really skyrocketed in America, I think mostly due to the name change controversy from Disney. It’s such a good tho, the shape of the exterior is very well done

@@BAUFmanBricks I’ve looked at eBay (Kleinanzeigen) which is an extra platform apart from eBay, and found it brand new in box for 130€ (instead of 119€ Msrp). Of course you have to look it up more often but sometimes you’ll get a good deal there, its not like every set of these is still cheap but i was pleasantly surprised as many of the other sets that are end of lineup skyrocket into crazy price spheres in no times.
Btw you do amazing builds, i personally leave my sets as they are but your tie fighter for example is 10/10 perfect i wish lego would do one like that.

Fantastic mod! I imagine that like many people here, ever since @brickupgrade posted their mod of 75243 two years ago (but sadly has not made instructions available to date), I have been eagerly waiting for someone as talented as you to come up with similar but equally awesome interior mods and share these with the rest of us who have been chomping on the bit to add these upgrades. @@BAUFmanBricks Fair point, I have also had my issues with PAB. I do appreciate the convenience of you making these out of common pieces. I just bought practically all of the pieces to your Imperial Shuttle. The only piece unavailable without a good alternative on PAB was the big white printed vent piece (easy enough to find for an affordable Bricklink price). I also like to use PAB when there is a gift with purchase that it would count for. The way I see it, I’m getting those fresh pieces for an amazing design and an extra set I can sell, and recoup some of the cost. The shuttle cost a little over 100 to buy all the pieces for. Worth every penny. Once all of the pieces for your designs are in, I’m going to buy the instructions and have an amazing summer. Thanks again!

Or how about an expanded universe accurate E Wing? The one in the recent Ashoka show, that was released as a set, isn’t an E Wing IMHO. As a very long time LEGO Collector starting back in the early 1970's. I hate how now the cost of the sets are so huge?
And how the now film themed sets like star wars or whatever are super pricey even compared to normal LEGO sets!
Just seems to me that they are greedy at LEGO company and they know some fans will and do spend silly amounts of cash to own the newest sets even if they sell for Hundreds of Pounds.
I mean look at the star wars LEGO Millennium Falcon, the set costs almost £600 For a set which is not that much pieces amount wise that at least half are special bricks just made for that set.
Just really a huge rip off by LEGO, they are and have been the worlds top selling Toy for over 70 years. They could sell the sets for 10% what they do now and still be rolling in billions.

I do find it highly suspect when sets do not feature unique molded pieces or minifigures. For example, I like the new midi-scale ships but they don’t seem very unique or exclusive with their pieces, shouldn’t they drop a bit in price compared to other sets?
