Better, Smaller UCS Lego Millennium Falcon

- I wanted to create a more accurate Lego Millennium Falcon in a play-scale size so I modified set #75257. The Falcon I ended up creating is highly detailed on the outside and the inside and rivals the much larger UCS Lego set. The exterior features tight greebling and tiles, and the interior has tiled floors and intricate features throughout the ship.
Instructions are now available!! reb.li/m/178275
thank you for all the support!

Instructions are now available! They are linked in the description of this video. Thank you for all the support and convincing me to create them, happy building.
Im so hyped! I was like: wait i have that!
SWEET!!! I would be interested also if you could design your own Clone Wars Clone warships. Some people on Deviant Art designed smaller Corellian patrol ships that use parts from the Blockade Runner.
I may eventually make my way around to prequel ships. I know there are some prequel guys that have do great stuff
I can't wait for the instructions! I have been looking around at MOC instructions to modify my Millenium Falcon, and this is by far my favorite. Any chance that you will include a parts list for what is needed to add to the original set?
@@Royman247 i hope he will. Because otherwise we would have to subtract all the parts we have
This is better than any official version that lego has produced. You ought to be proud of yourself!
Thank you! And I am going to assume you meant “yourself” haha
He states at the beginning it literally is an official version of Lego it's just humidified it and can't give him credit for something that you didn't do all his own
@@BrokeAssCollectorcompare this to the original set then tell me he deserves no credit!
@@BAUFmanBricks Yeah I did lol
Agreed!
So many moc builders don't include play features, so I'm super glad you do!
This is a fucking dream man. To this date Lego hasn't even come close to giving us something like this.
I love this! Please make instructions for this!!
Please do this, PLEASE
Please Please Please make instructions for this!!!! One of the best Falcon mocs out there!! Displayability in playscale is my ideal choice too and I love what you're doing with these mocs!!!
I second this. Pleeeeeeease!!??
YES! I beg of you! Such a nice set, easier to display and still got all of that wonderful detail
Yes please make instructions on how to modify the official Lego set!!
Also here to beg for instructions and such
The quality for the channel, both in cinematography, narration and camera presence is far beyond what it should be for a channel so small. Great stuff!
Thank you! not only do I want to show the quality of the build but I want my videos to be an homage to the ship I am recreating
As someone who really likes custom lego sets that go for accuracy, this is very nice for me. The falcon was always a large ship and the sets made for it definitely showed that, but I always wanted something a lot lighter, smaller and sleeker looking but also works as a mini fig size set. To me, this is perfect.
Thanks! I had to make a lot of concessions shrinking things down so it’s great to hear star wars fans like the direction I went with it
That's the size I thought the UCS version would be until I looked it up! Nice work!
Seriously. We all need these instructions. We would be forever grateful.
It’s looking good for the future
YOU SO HAVE TO MAKE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS SET!!! It's so dang cool!!! By far the best Lego millennium falcon I've ever seen!
I can't wait to see someone do this with the new MIDI Millennium Falcon as a starting point. This is a work of art
I never comment on videos but I would give anything for the instructions! I think you killed it, I think this is the perfect Lego falcon
Thank you! Probability of instructions is looking very good for the future
Instructions / brick list would be killer. This one is stunning and honestly I like the scale way better than the UCS Falcon. Great work!
Thank you! Well, if I do make instructions it’s gonna be a little while
Bravo anzi bravissimo bellissimo millennium Falcon complimenti per il lavoro
"Size doesn't matter" 🤭 It is really astonishing how you make so much playability to a brick Falcon. That is the challenge for every Lego builder.
Yes, I wait for intructions too... 😢 thank you very much 💸💸💸
that interior is amazing first time I've seen one at this scale have actual hallways. I've been eye balling that U wing in all your vids
It's coming!
@BAUFmanBricks you really came out swinging, keep it up man good shit.
Probably the most amazing and exciting Falcon that I have seen. I am definitly looking forward to building it. Thank you so much for this moc
That looks like a model, it’s so detailed.
You've done it. You made the only millennium falcon I would ever buy
Me: looking at my 75192 then looking at the screen. Looking back at the 75192 and thinking, now why can't you do that? Very VERY nice MOC.
haha, well what you don't see is the days, months, endless tinkering, and numerous brick orders that led to this
love the landing gear
All of these MOCs are amazing! we shall watch your career with great interest
If bro put a white background, i would just think it's the old Lego designer review, good work
This is what i've been waiting for all the time! I love your concept of making a full interior in a minifig scale ship and with all those details! You have missed nothing out and made perfect use of every space! You completely rebuild the 2009 model. Great!
I am happy to pay you extra for your time to design the instructions and post them on rebrickable
Great work, congratulations!!
We await the instructions. 😊
I’d buy this in a heartbeat
I love this guy in my opinion a lot of lego Star Wars sets don't hit the mark of playable and displayable but this guy just said "I'll do it myself!" I wish official lego was this good.
This is simply beautiful! I love all the small details you made for the interior!
Brother, I have passed this set every day in my target for 5 years… I will now buy it because of this. Well done
That looks AWESOME!! You got a follow!
I love the design! Over the last days I have done some 'research' and I think that you have the most all-around design of all playscale falcon mocs. Yes, there are quite a few on Rebricable already, with 2-3 that are top notch, with beautiful greabling and interior details. But they have a very ugly bottom, not retractable landing gear and no ramp, strange airlocks. Your design is nice from all angles. From your approximation it seems that it is also done with smaller number of pieces then other mocs, which is also good. All I am saying is that you still have a niche with your design - at least I would buy the instructions😊. I think doing them could be worth your effort, just please have in mind that a base ship will retire at the end of 2024, so I think that the sweet spot is pretty much now. Cheers and much respect for your engineering skills👍
One small thing - in your design airlocks are a little too extended. In renderings, the airlocks do not protrude beyond the outline of the ship, and are even set back a little. I think there is an easy fix by removing one-two layers of tiles from underneath 😊
Thank you! And instructions are currently in progress, I hope to have them within a month. And good eye for the airlocks, I decided to extend them because the cylinder shape does protrude from hexagonal wall end more than the original lego set, however your right, it’s supposed to be within the frame of the ship. I can’t move the hexagonal walls in and the shallow cylinder airlocks bugged me more than the current protrusion. Plus, it gives a bit of an optical illusion to make the ship just a bit larger than the original set
Lego could never, well done.
I think you hit the nail on the head… I’d much rather have a detailed playscale over huge hard to display UCS sets any day. I have a request, could you work your magic on a playscale Sandcrawler? The UCS is crazy big (and uses the old brown flawed pieces) while the new one is awesome but a bit small. Something maybe 20-30% bigger than the later version would be really nice 😊
It’s not high up on my list, but I may one day do a Sandcrawler
@@BAUFmanBricks But think of the children, er, Jawas😅
I'd love to see a comparison between the original set and your modification.
I was on the fence about keeping the free one I got with my Venator from Costco. This has changed my mind! I'll definitely be making some brick link and pab orders in the near future! This thing is awesome!
Well done. I didn’t think I needed another Millennium Falcon, but now I do haha.
Haha someone help us from this addiction
I like the pointilist/pop art Ralph McQuarrie Cloud City poster behind you!
Thanks, it’s actually a Lego art set I custom made
@@BAUFmanBricks I figured haha. Lego would never be that creative to actually make a good set with their dots system. The stripes from the clouds are really well done in particular. Instantly recognised it even if most of it is obstructed
Absolutely phenomenal
Thank you...I am looking foreward to upgrading my millennium falcon! Greetings from The Netherlands !!
Love your vision. I love the playscale size. Nice job.
You are a Hero, thats what i always want from Lego a Usc Set in Playscale because the details are amazing but nobody has enough space or money for the big usc falcon
Impressive, I was trying to find the instructions, didn't realize this video was this new. 🥰
Hi, this is pretty sweet. I would love to be able to moc the millennium falcon like that. Good to see instructions are coming. Might be something to consider. Great vid.
Absolutely love this! I wish there was some instructions for this because it would be awesome to have my own copy of this masterpiece!
Wow 🤩 what a great model. Hope to see instructions soon 🙏😊
So beautiful! Wonderful build.
This is one of the best Millennium Falcon I ever saw.
I hope official products are like this.
instructions would be amazing, and people would definitely pay for them
Lego needs to make this for $250-$350. UCS one is too big with not enough interior detail. This is perfect!!
300-400 for the BEST looking lego Millennium Falcon I have ever seen? Holy crap! That's not bad, that's crazy good!
This is an amazing set. I usually think a very detailed, clean looking playscale is much more interesting than 100% accuracy in a set. This set looks fantastic and very stylized!
One thing I wanted to mention was how convincing the space was, and I just heard you say that in the video! So another awesome thing.
Ya, I think with Lego you can kinda of mess with the dimensions the larger an object is in real life
Interior looks amazing.
Job well done!! UCS respect from Denmark 🙌🏻🇩🇰👍🏻
What an incredible MOC! I'm amazed the amount of greebling you managed to get in there. Most impressive.
I would love to see you do something similar with the new ghost set, I know you would do an amazing job!
Thank you. I may in the future, tho it will take a long, long time. @2bricks and @brickvault have made a really great playscale Ghost
It always bugged me how bare and empty the interior of the 75257 was. I love how much details you added. Great build. This is what a UCS should look like. As detailed as the large models, as playable as the playsets. Really well done!
Wow! That is really amazing. You got the best out of that size.
This and Tbricks’s Falcon build are BY FAR the best reasonable-scale, non-bankrupting Millenium Falcon MOCs out there. I love that yours is even smaller than his build but still has plenty of play features. You capture the best qualities of a fan-oriented, accurate-detail philosophy with the play-first philosophy of LEGO group.
Thank you! And yes, agreed @2bricks has an amazing falcon!
This is an absolutely amazing masterpiece! I love the detailing and how it’s still a play scale while looking like a UCS set. 🤩
I would love to make something nearly as detailed on day to use in a animation 😄
This is really good, and I fully agree with the thought behind it. Large sets are cool, but a super detailed smaller sets is so much easier to display!
OMG>...this is the best Millennium Falcon I have ever seen ever.
set 75257 about to go up in price
pls make instructions love it !!
damn, I wish the minifig scale falcon had this much of a thorough interior
Wow what a beautiful set. I'd buy that if it was sold.
Good job!Waiting for instructions !!❤
Instructions are actually out now, linked in description
Love that moc
This is absolutely amazing! Prolly the best Lego Falcon I've ever seen!
Please PLEASE make instructions at some point, would gladly buy.
Instructions are coming
Just saw your post on the channel confirming them after I commented here lol. Thank you, can't wait!@@BAUFmanBricks
The falcon you've made is so good-looking and nice that it has play features!
brilliant build, i hope to see more.
Such a fantastic build! I would definitely buy instructions for this!
i hope the next millenium falcon gonna be as good as this
Dang near perfect in scale, detail and playability! Excellent balance of all three. Add me to the list of those looking for some instructions.
Absolutely amazing!
This is amazing work. Thanks for showing us around.
Absolutely stunning!
This one's a beauty! Thanks for sharing.
thanks for watching!
This looks wonderful!!
I don’t care how, I need this!! Amazing build 😀
That is great. I never quite liked how out of scale the UCS sets are. Providing this level a detail and all the fixes while being fairly scale accurate is impressive. Good job!
Incredible build, great job!
Great detailed Falcon! Honestly, the UCS version is too big and heavy this model is a great compromise!
Absolutelly brilliant! Waiting for instructions!!
Absolutely gorgeous build.
I'm altering the deal.
Get the instructions done.
😊
The set is perfect!
Haha, they’re coming. I’ll make an announcement confirming and when they become available in a few weeks probably
@@BAUFmanBricks ❤️
amazing work again! proportions, interior, the detailing ... everything flows together so nicely! cant wait for what else you have in store in the future!
I’ve recently discovered your UA-cam channel and I am amazed by your builds. The playscale, UCS quality, and accuracy you go for is everything I have wanted from Lego. Your builds go above and beyond and I’m excited to see what you will build in the future. I know you are looking to do more original trilogy sets, but eventually down the line I was hoping you could create a version of Anakin’s eta-2 Jedi Interceptor from episode 3. After seeing your version of the x-wing and falcon, I can only imagine how you’ll handle the eta-2. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you! Glad to have you watching
This is absolutely awesome
Awesome job!
This is a great model! I`d love to have the instructions!
Very nicely done
Amazing build once again ! I would love to see the Naboo Royal Starship in this "midi scale ucs" style in a futur video
Whew, that one would be sooo tough because of it's very sleek curves and metallic look. It's crossed my mind though
This is everything I’ve ever wanted playsets to be in terms of detail and accuracy, you’re onto a winner here with this idea! Now I’m inspired to have a go at this for the Solo version of the Falcon in white & blue 😀
Get this brotha designing for LEGO
Amazing!! Congrats!
Amazing execution bringing the detail of UCS to a playscale model.
Subscribed and will absolutely be keeping an eye out on your rebrickable should instructions ever drop there!
I’ll make an announcement on YT as well to let people know, and yes the instructions should be coming
Stumbled across your channel, you’ve got some great stuff going on. Keep it up!!
This is so awsome thank you very much for showing it to us. You are very talented, keep going and looking forward to seeing more of your mocs😁👍
Very cool, great job!
