Great to see you again. Back in my favourite place too. Took my daughter to the vintage warehouse in the summer. It was so hot that day. She was happy, got nice leather biker jacket. Also Crantock too, was boiling that day as well. Was packed out, we we're on the other side, was so busy we had to park about 2 miles out. Walking back in the heat was nuts. Great pub in Perranporth, had some great beach days there too. Beach is huge when the tide is out. Hopefully get down a couple of times this year. Keep up the good work. 🤘
Thanks Lee mate. You know what? We’ve never yet ventured down on the Crantock side! There’s SO much more for us to experience in Cornwall this Summer and we’ll definitely be doing that! 🥰🙌

Cornwall is great (Being a Cornishman), but like a lot of Cornish people, finding employment means you leave the County once school/college finishes. Due to the immigration of wealthy City Brits into the County, bying affordable property to live with employment to sustain living is almost impossible, when wishing to move back home. It means you become a permanent migration statistic residing out of the County. The only time to visit Cornwall, is out of tourist season, as the season is a double edge sword. Helps fund employment and living for a few of the remaining true Cornish as well as all the new settlers over the past 50+ years, but it has destroyed the tranquility and cleanliness of the County. I come from a family with 500 years traceable history in Cornwall, yet i can't afford to live in the County. All my family 40 years ago were living in fishing villages on the North Coast, now they all live in the centre of Cornwall by the disused China clay-pits, with not a single fish, fished anymore by the family, as the immigration and economy has forced them from the coast and into other poorly paid work. This is the untold reality of the real Cornish families. Great that ALL people get to experience Cornwall, as they should, but the immigration and second home ownership of the City wealth expansion in to the County and the deluge of tourism, means Cornwall, the land of smugglers has been silently smuggled away from the true Cornish. Guess that's life!😭

Such a sad piece of truth ... I'm one of those who moved to this beautiful county 15 years ago now, I'm not by any means what one would call "gentrified" ... We don't own our own home and my husband works in a supermarket and I work in a preschool,so not what you'd call well off by any means. We moved down here to be with family as we wanted to give our daughter a safer upbringing , but the reality for you also resonated with me cos I'm a Londoner and we definitely can't afford to move back...not that we
Sorry...cut myself off there...not that we want to anyway !!! Am proud to call this beautiful county home and we both work very hard to keep a roof over our heads and ironically our daughter is now back in London at uni not 10 mins from where we moved her away from !!!! 🤷🤗
