Solo Adventure to Cornwall with my Cat. Crantock/Newquay. Vanilla VanLife.

- I this video my travelling cat (Echo) and I adventure to Carvynick Holiday Park (Campsite) St. Enoder in Newquay of Cornwall. I stayed on a lovely campsite in my self build campervan which is a MWB Hightop VW Crafter. I also was able to enjoy a lovely meal in the Campsites restaurant (The Fox's Revenge).

The following day Echo and I then go to check out The Bowgie Inn in hope to buy a nice coffee to find out it is in fact closed. We still were fortunate enough to enjoy the wonderful view in Crantock. What a wonderful park up that is.

Hello there, I am not from Dorset but I do having some family situated there. Another stunning part of UK. If you have the interest in travelling then I’d certainly say to just get out there and do it. You will not regret it. It’s all about doing what you enjoy and you’ll learn as you go. I personally like the travel with the bare minimum and only use and take exactly what I need. Making more room for better experiences and memories. Good luck to your future adventures!

Echo is well behaved and loves to relax when I’m out and about adventuring. I’m never gone for too long. He is such a blessing to have as a beautiful travel companion.
Just started watching your videos this week, I absolutely love your lifestyle when you’re out and about in your van and I also love your (Vans) attire and your hilarious sense of humour, especially when you laugh at yourself😅… keep travelling and keep posting because you’re very entertaining.

That's great but how do you manage to stop your cat from running away
He’s always been so good out in the van, the outside noise tends to scare him so he’s just comfortable being within the van! :)
Josie, can I ask a personal question? I am not tall, I'm 5ft 8. But when you're in your van, you seem to be crouching down a lot, stooping. So that question would be, are you too tall for your van? Looking at your van, then Adz's's's,, they seem quite high. Is it just a natural thing that you might do? For the time being, I am happy with car camping, small vans too, like Adz Jellybean. But later I'd like something a little roomier. I don't want a double decker bus or anything like that, but just somewhere I can stand upright.
Oh hey, I am 5"4 myself, I hadn't notice that I crouch down. Maybe because of the angle that I had positioned my camera so I can fit into the screen as I can stand up and stretch my arms very comfortable in my van as I have a high top van so there is more than enough room for anyone to stand :) I'm sure if you had a van my size then it certainly would be plenty of room.
I previously had a VW T4 which was much smaller than this Crafter but again still enough room for little me to potter around and adventure! :)
@@JosieMay26 Thanks, sorry to have bothered you. The camera angle is exactly the thing. I didn't think of that. I can't wait for the winter now, that sounds perverse I know, but the prices of used ex commercial vehicles drop a bit. I might get a bargain.

I've lived full time in a 5th wheel for 6 years with my dog. Happiest I've ever been and I'm 44. I've done many of nights in my vito in Cornwall. (ITS MY HAPPY PLACE). best of both worlds live in a 5th wheel and move around in a van.

Josie I have a very important question 🤓 why is your cat called echo ? Or is it Ecco ( like the dolphin 🐬 ) from the 90s Sega megadrive game , oh dear im showing my age ✌
My cat is named Echo after the band Echo Town.
I sure did love the old megadrive games, my brother used to have one when we were growing up.

When I seen ur video I know ts little orbs flying a round u .May mum how is old and I go and help to look after her and she lives next to a grave yard and my mum.has orbs flying around. Her house and they call it the porthol and they come and go they also play around in my mum backyard and my phone gose off for know reasons and the say hello .And say hay to them when the fly pass ur 📹
