camper was paying attention to that crab chowder camper definitely wanted some of that chowder his tongue was flapping . i bet if he had some of that chowder he would have been a happy camper
Love the way that Camper quickly adapts to anything. It's like he's been in the DELVINTHALER his whole life. I guess the amount of love you have for each other , makes it a little easier. Safe travels to you both.
He has adapted to his new home so quickly! In fact, today a very similar looking sprinter drove by and he started barking and went to go chase after it as if someone was taking out home! So funny!
I'm watching lifestyles and travel vlogs from Iran Although your lifestyle is a dream for us, I still hope to have such a lifestyle, hitting the roads. Thanks for being so energetic, good luck!
Huge respect coming from a native Oregonian. I appreciate anyone who cleans up these beautiful beaches and helps to preserve them for future generations. cheers!
Great coastal tour of Oregon Nikki! I especially loved that you made an effort to clean up the beach and bring focus to the wider plastic pollution problem. On another note, from one rock hound to another, those were some beautiful stones you found! 🫶 Thanks for sharing! Safe travels!🐕🥾🚶♀🚐🗻🌄
This is my favorite Delventhal! Incredible coastline vistas throughout, Camper never having to be on leash and getting to chase whales in a fountain, great seafood, Nikki bringing attention to how to help stop land pollution. So glad you're not leaving Oregon yet.
This is the first video I watched on this channel, and it made me realize how happy life can be. You're confident and full of life, and you inspired me! Thank you!
My grandfather was a senior master chief in the coast guard, he was at one point in time posted at heceta head lighthouse where he held full operational duties for like 3 years, the roses my grandmother planted around the house still grow strong today. Our family knows every square inch of the Oregon coast from Astoria and fort Stevens to gold beach, thanks for sharing and caring.
Stayed at WorldMark Resorts at Depot Bay last year and saw lots of Whales. Did some nice hiking. If you want to sea the Seals at the Seal Caves it's best to wait until January though. Lots of nice beaches along the Oregon Coast.
We discovered your channel a week ago, and have been binge watching all your past videos. Your videos are so interesting, personal, and filled with variety, that we'll be along for the ride as long as you keep doing this. Thanks much!
I've lived in Oregon for nearly 20 years and I have to say that Travel Oregon should be paying you for this wonderful 22-minute advertisement. Well done Nikki!
Wow.. I never thought I’d say this of the US, but you’re very lucky to live where you are. I never had much of an interest to go to America, but the coast there, and the weather and rainy vibes and trees is exactly what I love. If I was to make an effort to go to the US I’d visit here way above all the tourist places like LA or Vegas or NY or whatever 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
That was really cool, I was just out visiting my sister in Oakridge and drove up the coast. We stayed in Yachats and had a meal at Luna Sea, where my dog Tater who looks similar to Camper gave an unsuspecting diner a wet willy while she was eating. Back in Lake Lure NC now wishing I was back in Oregon

I live in Beaverton, grew up in Oregon and love that you get to experience our wonderful state. If you haven't been to Bandon for Circles in the Sand," you ought to go. We live on 23 acres and have plenty of room if you ever need a place to park for the night. You're always welcome. My husband and I have lived in a 5th wheel for the last 4 years. The farm we are parked on belongs to our son and his family. Stop by sometime, we'll take your horseback riding and kayaking on the Tualatin River right by us.
Awesome video. My aunt owned Rock Park Cottages right there on the cliffs in Yachats. Next to the national park turn around. On the 4th of july they are right under where the fireworks are set off at the park. Best time ever.
What a blast of great memories! The Central Oregon Coast was my favorite! Even after spending months in Fiji, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and California, Oregon always is very welcoming, tasty, and comfortable.
The Depoe bay harbor that you were at where the red fence was at off to the right my grandparents had a restaurant in the late 80’s it’s no longer there but brings back so many memories.
I just went to Michigan and my kid and wife love it ! We didn’t want to leave the the free beach by the state park ! But we had to leave since we live in Wisconsin!!!! Thank you for this video !
Love watching you with Camper, reminds me of the times I used to go hiking with my dog as a kid, its not easy to develop the trust and relationship with a dog where u don't need a leash, a very rare symbiotic balance.
Where in oregon is a good first place to start out living at with children as a single parent on the coast?? Want to move out there soo bad. I hate fl. It is too hot down here and they do not help with child support
I loved your video, thanks so much for sharing it. I used to camp a lot when I was younger but now I'm 42 and too busy with my profession. I had flashbacks just looking at your video....Take good care of yourself...🙏❤🙏
The Sea Hag, The Chowder Bowl in Depoe Bay are really good and Moe's in Lincoln City is also amazing just got back from Seaside, OR a few weeks ago had a great time was there for a week.
Nikki- the poison oak brought back fond memories; I went to school at U of Oregon/Eugene, mid-70's. They had a run called the Torture Ridge Run back then....between two bluffs in town, across a creek, thru heavy woods, etc. That night- after a shower, at a Mexican restaurant w/ other runners, started itching. Next day....I'm swollen all over, and arms/legs covered. Next day I'm in ER, intubated, blind, etc. The following day....a team of doctors from Portland arrived, all specialists: photographs were taken, oral histories, etc. And that time it was THE worst case they had (apparently) seen. I'm literally in medical books. The situation scared me so much that I gave up (any) bushwacking, heavy woods, etc.- and took up mountain climbing. Rock. And I haven't had poison oak, ivy, or sumac since. ps: Unlike most toxic exposures and resistance build up w/ exposure, Poison Ivy/Oak DOES NOT work that way- Repeated exposures INCREASE sensitivity.
So glad you are enjoying my favorite part of Oregon! There's truly something for everyone on the Oregon Coast. Thanks for being an excellent steward of the environment!
Men from all over the world come together as one, set all differences aside, in camaraderie, a brotherhood of culture. We are gathered yet again brethren, the quiet call of a damsel has brought here, yes, it is true, You are a distinguished gentleman and a scholar.

Right after. You and Camper jumped in, there's a shot of a house out on the cliffs just at the entrance to Otter Crest loop, well I worked the stonework on that place, 3 and a half years! I got to know that area pretty well, next time you and Camper get there, do a drive by and check on my work..... ok far now, Nikki, take care, you and Camper! AL
As a former Northern Californian who spent decades traveling the Oregon coast, I approve this video! Your content is professional and beautifully done!
I have never been to Oregon, but would love to go ..it’s beautiful! I love your videos, and love the absolute adorable happy Camper, he is such a beautiful a happy dog and it warms my heart!
Covered in Poison oak you still present such a positive outlook and enjoyment of life that is contagious to us all. I love to get the notice that a new Nikki adventure is waiting for me. Keep on keeping on :)
Safety message from a biker and traveler. Travel the West Coast from North to south so you don't need to cross traffic getting to all the pull-outs and parking areas. This is safer on all coasts, keep the water on your side and be safe 👍
hope the van is feeling much better for you.. van life friend Amanda was doing Oregon coast around the same time.. i was doing it in my subaru outback as well but never full-timed it.. but yes to test out of if i really would commit to living in a shoebox.. so that you are grateful for it every day :)
I really enjoyed your video and will look for more. I travel in a small born free with my 16 yo husky and soon to be 10 yo pitadore and so of course I love Camper, a true delight and that say a lot about you; good dog, good owner. I'll be on the Oregon cost all summer and would be great to meet up with you. Cheers.
Beautiful! I have never been to Oregon…but every time I see pictures/ videos I am in awe of its rugged/ stunning beauty! Van life is my retirement dream and Oregon is the first place I want to visit( I live in Canada right now). Thank you Nikki and Camper for an amazing video!!!❤

Hey! The Dizzy Hen is awesome! One of my perks of living in Philomath lolol. I've taken the drive you show us within the video dozens of times and it NEVER gets old! Thanks for the great video! :)
Drove that portion of the Coast back in 1991 in a red VW diesel Rabbit on the way to San Diego from Vancouver Island. When I saw the Manson built rock barrier wall on the highway cliff edge, I thought that the Sea lion caves must near by and in the next frame there was the sign. Surprised you did not check it out. Camped somewhere near Newport at a State park and had to listen to a couple having an all out battle Asked my wife if she remembered that and she said " oh ,you mean George and Penny!" It was nuts. It costed us 45 usd in fuel from Vancouver to San Diego in those Days. Happy Motoring!
Hi Nikki...Let me start with... Thank you. Thanks for sharing a piece of your life, Nikki. A really nice, enjoyable video or should I say a "mini movie". That's what it felt like. Off the beaten path adventures!?. The best kind! I can see Oregon truly brings out the storyteller/writer in you, Nikki. Your impressions and the way you describe the coast are so spot on. There is something about the water that speaks to some people. Any body of water. The lights coming off of it, the smell, the spray, sound of the waves. The ocean can be calm and peaceful one minute then the next moment angry. I also admire your appreciation of it. A lesson for us all, to respect the oceans. And thanks for letting us in on one of your passions Nikki. Your enthusiasm of rock hunting/collecting is contagious. And Thanks for the ride! Take Care Nikki.. Steve..
I loved working in Oregon and living across the bridge in Washington. The scenery is beautiful and the people are so nice. I’m with you, the seafood is the best anywhere! Thank you for bringing awareness to plastics on the beaches and thank you for sharing camper with us! You know, a lot of people pay a lot of money to swim with the dolphins… Just saying! 💞🐬💞
Just watched a couple of your videos and i like them. Love Camper too. You are in my neck of the woods, the southern Oregon coast is great. Safe travels and be safe have fun.
Nikki, your travel/camping videos are so beautiful, informative, and heartwarming! Camper is such an amazing dog and it is clearly apparent how much he appreciates having you, and vice versa! I remember how the two of you first met (him being a stray on a trail) and it does not take a rocket scientist to understand out why the bond between you two is so strong. I lived in Seattle for 18 years (I now live in San Diego) and the Oregon Coast was my favorite getaway destination on long weekends! One thing I definitely miss down here is the Pacific Northwest sourdough bread and the chowder! Happy trails to both of you wonderful "people"!!!
Spent decades in 1 of 6 Roadtrek vans traveling US & Canada (not full-time), but full-time winters in AZ except when foreign traveling. It is a great lifestyle, applaud your initiative and wish Web Income good luck efforts. Note: 5 years ago camped alongside Hiwy 1 outside of Tillamook for 3 nights. Last night woke in a lake, van was destroyed . Very traumatic. Stay on high ground. Ironically, many warning signs south of Tillamook. 😃
I can’t wait to follow your path along the Oregon coast and to eat at those places you shared! Thanks for taking us all on this journey with you and Camper💕
I've driven the entire Pacific coast highway from LA to the northwesternmost point of the Olympic Penninsula and my favorite part is from just north of San Francisco to Astoria. Some parts are rocky and rugged while others are endless sand dunes but it's all very wild and spectacular and I hope it always stays that way. The Washington portion is also quite nice but most of it is inland and misses the coast.
That guy didn't seem impressed with your pound of hard work😆👍🏽 Awesome vid! I appreciate the time you take on your editing and camera footage. God Bless✝️👑🙏🏽
I would love to move out to Oregon and or around there. I'm from the EAST COAST. But, everytime i see a movie and it's built around Washington / Oregon I want to move out their so badly. Looks absolutely beautiful. Love to find a small sea side town where nobody knows my name. and I can just live. Also, I'm big into BIGFOOT, that might be one of the many reasons hahah

Living in the UK its so nice to see you part of the world.
When did I miss this happening? Does Camper now have a GPS collar? Nikki, that boy adores you!
I was thinking either it's a GPS collar or an anti-bark collar..😢
Three minutes ago posted… time to get my Friday happy pill from watching these videos
Woah there
Nikki, your travel/camping videos are so beautiful, informative, and heartwarming!
I am so happy for you. You have an amazing life. I love your dog, Camper, too. He is great.
I ask for your prayers and healing vibes as I continue to face health challenges. Thank you for your support.
🙏
I drove the entire Pacific Coast drive a few years ago - this brings back some memories 👍
Good video, like your energy, Camper's too, and there’s not a much prettier place than the Oregon coast.
Looked like a pre sifted pound of sand and eel grass with a few plastic flakes.
