I think you nailed it on how to make this car look amazing without making it look riced out; in fact it makes the car remind me of a Lexus now.. or something more luxurious. Thanks for sharing these videos and please update with more because I saw your pic on Imgur and it looks even better with the full body kit installed.
What's up Rick. Thanks for the compliment. This is such an old video, my car does not look like this anymore :D Makes a huge difference with it lowered and with the full body kit all the way around. But all my coils are shot so I do need new suspension asap. Are you on the hyundai-forums dot com? or do you have IG? i don't post much in general but i do post on those two plaftorms. Let me know. Would like to see your project. 08 would still be the same body style as mine.

I am literally looking at buying those Niche wheels right now but I cant tell if they will fit on my car with stock suspension. The website says the 19s wont fit because its a 35mm offset but I remember you saying you had the same and they had fit yours fine? Would the 19x8.5 with 35mm offset fit ok on stock suspension? The tires it comes with are 225/40/r19 any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

@@rickdaddy07 this is an old thread but yes +35s fit but you do have to roll fenders especially in the rear. I was rubbing while making turns until I fender rolled.

Captain coast: yes sir I still have it. It's my daily driver. 245k now. I do wanna tell you the 2010 has slightly different body parts that won't interchange with the 06-08. Some fit but most don't. Front bumper / headlights / grill / for example are quite different.

I think you even commented on some old threads of mine. Anyway..I am looking to get BACK into an NF because I really love the look and drive of them. I wanted to know what you did to the front end of your Sonata. I know that's a RoadRuns grille, but the headlights, lip kit/bumper and LED DRL's I haven't seen before. Would you be able to share where you got them from? I have been out of the KDM thing for a bit, and the only websites I remember were like Shark, and I didn't see anything like this on there. Would you be able to point me in the right direction? Were the headlights PNP or did you have to buy a kit and retrofit the LED strip etc? Thanks in advance and sorry for this huge comment.

Ok - so, the headlights are completely custom....too much to write on here but google morimoto led switchback 06 sonata and the hyundai forums thread on how I built them should pop up. The lower lip is ixion (made for 06-08) ...the 09-10 won't fit for the front. I have the 09-10 rear lip - It actually fit with some minor modifications on the rear bumper. The fog are ebay fogs made by Mobbis made for the 06-08. And grill as you know is roadruns.
I did. When I was married we had both an 08 V6 SE Sonata and a 2013 Elantra GT Hatch. My ex still has the GT. We sold the NF when it crossed 100K because it was going to need costly repairs. I want another because I love the way they look
@Vinnie Cappiello - My 06 Sonata just crossed 100k and I just replaced the brake light switch and yaw rate sensor. Other than regular maintenance and an issue with the some door locks not working she's been bullet proof. But now that she's passed 100k I'm worried about more repairs down the road. Should I find a replacement or just keep doing maintenance and things will be alright? Thanks for any advice!
-hmr1979 - Your Sonata is beyond beautiful..it's inspiring! That silver paint looks custom and way better than my factory silver. And those headlights are amazing. Would you be willing to make these headlights for me for a fee? I wouldn't even try to do this myself due to being all thumbs when it comes to stuff like that..lol. I need new headlights as it is so this would be an awesome upgrade as long as nighttime brightness isn't compromised and I don't have to turn on any extra switches to make them work and are just plug and play. Please let me know and congrats on making your Sonata look like a million bucks!

This is a rather old video - She is lowered now with body pieces all around to complete the look :) As far as making the headlights, it's quite a bit of custom work involved...mainly in making the wooden block to hold the morimoto strip....yes, it's actually wood LOL - What state are you in?
The side skirts and front lip are no longer made unfortunately (from what I have been told). But the side skirts were made by zest and front lip is ixion. Lights are home made.

Andi Kurniawan it was something I fabricated...it wasn't an assembly bought from somewhere. I used wood and carved it out to fit the shape of the assembly...the light itself is a Morimoto switchback
Connorwilliams1319 am sorry I thought you commented on the folding mirrors lol my bad. This headlight was completely stock, I just opened them up and custom fabbed the piece that held the morimoto led strip. Also added the halo and painted the insides black etc... it's home made.

Stock bumper. Aftermarket led fog lights. Ixion front bumper lip. They don't make those anymore though 😔
