I believe the coaching staff is finally getting a hold of things and the new offense is starting to kick in. The depth of the team is a major reason for their success. I like the fact that the star players have reduced minutes. It gives two benefits. Fitrst, in a game against a team like the Celtics, the starters can play more significant minutes without the fatigue of doing it everyday. Secondly, come playoff time everyone will be fresher.
Great show !!! Also, Ja, JJJ & Des deserve much respect for welcoming and cheering on the newer Grizz players and making them feel important. That is true leadership. This is a TEAM that's focused more on Ws than individual stats and it's beautiful to witness
I’ve said it before people can disagree and I’m a lil biased but I believe grizzlies are 100% better then thunder I think we are deeper tbh and more mature
OKC needs a lil more time to gel their new additions from the offseason, but a 7 game series between the Thunder and Grizzlies would be absolutely magical
Do you guys think the grizzlies will maintain a 10/11 man rotation going into the playoffs? I know teams usually drop to 8/9 but the grizzlies bench is so deep, i dont see how you could leave out someone like Jay Huff or Scottie Pippen Jr or even the guys currently injured like GG Jackson and Vince Williams. Like i dont see who gets dropped out
I also think the rotation should be longer even in the playoffs, not only there is less chance of losing one of the main guys during the playoffs to injuries, but also having more guys out there means more fouls to give: you can play a more agressive defense, losing Huff or Pippen Jr to fouls is not the end of the world.
Ima be honest we need better doctors or whatever they be out too long for injuries that’s really day to day injuries like smart being out 2 weeks off being sick edey sprained his ankle bro should have been back last week at least
@kendonnichols8547 Zach is 7'4 and already rolled his ankle 2x in summer league. They are being careful as they should. No nba player sprains their ankle and is day to day
@kendonnichols8547 Smart was out for that length of time because of his ankle, not because he was sick. It also depends on the severity of the ankle sprain. It can take anywhere from a week to several months, just depends on the grade.
Coach finally pulled his head from under a rock and runs more offense through JJJ. The new offense didn’t bet Celtics. JJJ touches in the half court beat them.
I love da way the team is playing but ima be honest we have a lot of talent I say we make a trade for a 3 team trade we can trade laravia smart and kennard and go get either cam Johnson or jerami grant to play the 3 and den we ready for sure not saying we not now but we need a true 3 wit length and can shoot the 3 but we will see
Adam silver a genius fr he saw guys like lebron and curry getting older and made up this BS play in tournament to find a way to get them into the playoffs every single year
Trade that would make us NBA CONTENDERS!!! Okay I made it a 4 team trade Hawks get: Brandon Ingram (plus a couple bench sitters for salary) Pelicans get: De’Andre Hunter, Marcus Smart, Day’Ron Sharpe, two 2025 1st round picks, two 2025 second round picks, two 2026 second round picks Grizzlies get: Cam Johnson and Clint Capela Nets get: Luke Kennard, John Konchar, Jordan Hawkins, Jake LaRavia, David Roddy, 2026 unprotected 1st round pick and a 2026 top 10 protected 1st round pick
@ the nets “blow up” the roster by getting rid of Cam Johnson for some picks. The Pels need to trade Ingram instead of losing him for nothing. It they don’t blow it up. They get Hunter as a replacement who is a better defender and a better 3pt shooter. Plus they get Marcus Smart who can come off the bench. A huge improvement to their defense. Then they get Day’Ron Sharpe to replace Daniel Theis which would be an improvement as well. On top of this they get draft equity which they can use when they get healthy next season to make a trade.
@ Capela is an upgrade over Huff. Gives us a reliable center in the playoffs. Then GG Jackson and Jaylen Wells aren’t being replaced. They are just coming off the bench.

Are we indeed "fine" in the west? I think we'll know after we match up with OKC.
Grizzlies will be outstanding wait till Zach comes back it will be a dominate team
Stay healthy youngins..stay healthy!!!

Waiting on GG to get back!!!
Quit hating on the cup! The games are very competitive and fun. I enjoy them.
I hope we see a Grizzly/Cavs final in the next 2 seasons.
Any word on Vince or GG return?
Early January for Vince, middle to end for GG
Do we know when Zach is back?
Weeks
After Christmas

I think Bane flourishes when he gets to run point guard.. I wouldn’t mind experimenting and switching Marcus and Bane 👀
The return of JA#12, he deserves a credit

LET'S AQUIRE CAM JHONSON✅🔫🏀🧬🐐💪💯🔥👀
🐻〽️
Players win games, and coaches lose them
Bane is struggling because he needs to get a haircut. Somebody go and chop my guy up ASAP.
Who deserves credit? The training staff, doctors, and the fates that keep them healthy. Healthy, we're really good.
Get back to rubbing feet

Basically the Pels and Nets are "blowing up" their teams and getting roster turnover?

Terrible trade. Clint capela nor cam Johnson are upgrades over Jay huff, Brandon Clarke, gg jackson, jaylen wells
