What I like about Memphis is that they have faced adversity with health issues, but they are still pushing through. Most other good teams have been much healthier, so it makes you wonder how they would handle seven to nine injuries.
Glad we got that win in Minnesota. Thanks so much for the Johnson update. Zach and Bane can’t have another 1st quarter like in Houston. I thought Zach was better in the limited minutes he got in the 2nd half. I thought BC played well in the 1st half and didn’t in the second. I hope we are ready.

I think we still need a better halfcourt offense. We had 25 more shots than the Timberwolves & won by 2. Our team overall is really good, but relying on offensive rebounds for the offenses success is basically not addressing what our biggest issue is, performing well on offense against elite teams. Our offensive numbers can be a little inflated since our offensive scheme works amazing against average or bad teams, but the really good teams we struggle in the halfcourt. If we are going to succeed in the post season, we need more consistent half court offense. Allow Ja, JJJ, & Bane to get more set play calls for them rather than relying on role players the entire season. At least against better teams practice these sets.
Taylor and staff will hold the Grizz back. It seems to tickle Taylor's fancy to experiment with lineups. When GG and Vince come back, expect more craziness. If he wants to make changes, make them during half time because whatever he is saying during half time, the team comes back and play like heck during the third quarter.
I agree we don't need Cam. We need a true big who can rebound. I like John Collins. If there is a true big, Clarke can play defense on 3 to 5 and doesn't have to focus on being just a center. I believe he is much more than that.

Well, first of all Luke Kennard has like the best three-point percent shooting in the NBA of all time so OK now let me think oh yeah he was in the playoffs and he played good for us so I think it’s interesting that we think Jon might not like you know Scotty out there with him, but I’m sure that if he would just remember that Marcus smart is another option that could be there instead then he would he’d probably seem to enjoy Scotty a little bit more and I mean the thing is Scotty trying to get to the level the jaws at and sometimes you know you gotta fall get back up and of course it’s frustrating to watch that because he knows he could do You know every move guy is trying to do that. What if we found out Kim Johnson was one starting all these rumors because he really wanted to be on Memphis grizzlies and that was literally the only reason that anyone had been thinking about trading for Cam Johnson because obviously we’re gonna be hesitant to make any big moves like that after the Marcus smart was kind of a throw money out floodgate
The past few years have been some important long term decisions. A few years back, you resign at the time your longest tenured player in Dillon Brooks and assume his leadership influence. Or you let him go and a few years later invest in resigning Jaren Jackson Jr and have him as your go-to scoring threat. Btw, that Dante dude on the Wolves might turn out to be better than Edwards.
