Before i watch this video I will say no. Taylor Jenkins inherited Ja Morant. The jury is still out Taylor Jenkins. I want to see a fully healthy squad going into the playoffs. We have to put respect on Lionel Hollins. Lionel Hollins was the one that really brought the grit and grind era.

It’s frustrating when it seems Jenkins will push guys like Konchar, Clarke, Laravia (who has played well so far). But then be so hesitant to give Minutes to guys who have played well like edey, Huff

I really like Scotty pippin, I even like him a little more than tyus jones. Love Edey and to me when he comes in usually that game goes better. Taylor does some very odd noticeable line ups though. I think the new offensive scheme is good but I’m wondering if it’s holding bane back a little.

Taylor is the best Coach this Organization has ever had. Taylor is not perfect and his rotation moves can be questionable but we also know that several players have missed significant time this season that has thrown extra players into the rotation. Jaylon Wells is only playing because Vince was injured just like last season when Vince got playing time because of injuries. If I'm not mistaken Vince,Scotty,Wells and GG all were 2nd picks/G-Leauge guys who weren't expecting a lot of playing time but have been extremely pleasant surprises. We should be glad that we aren't what we were last season and get ready for a great tide eith having all of this depth. Let's lock in and get after these folks night in and night out...

Taylor Jenkins has always coached like he has a plan on a spreadsheet and he won’t deviate from that plan. He doesn’t have feel for the game or the moment. Coaching is nuanced and he doesn’t subscribe to that type of philosophy. He can only win when the talent on his roster far exceeds what’s being produced on the other side. Which is why he fails so often in the playoffs.

there are three losses that the Grizzlies are going to regret. When the team is healthy then maybe they can be overcome. But the losses to the Bulls and home & away to the Nets are the difference between the grizz being 8th and being 3rd in the West. Here's hoping for health.

I think a big reason why Jenkins manages to have such shitty rotations and has an unwillingness to change them despite whats going on in the game without any repercussions from management is because of his relationship with the players. It's a shame because I'd love for Memphis to be open to a replacement coach if a better one becomes available but I don't think ownership would risk angering the players like that.

Joe this is your best episode yet. I agree with every word you said. And TJ hates bigs that play in the post. He has never passed it down low to JJJ before last year when he had no choice.

Joe basketball knowledge is lacking. Huff was the x-factors that would have open up the floor better for the grizzlies so those minutes was smart. Should he have started no but him playing slot of minutes made sense. And Wemby is the front runner for DPOY. Wemby is averaging 4 blocks and a steal a game with a defensive rating of 101. Draymond rating is 107 at this time not even better than Jaren 106 to draymomd 107.4

And can you find out any new info on Ja’s status? I’d heard they’d try to give one every week. Just really wanna confirm they’ve 100% ruled out surgery. You know how they like to surprise us

I think Huff starting was Taylor out smarting himself and don't expect it to happen again. As far as Jaylen, I would rather he get this experience now. He is part of the future and Smart won't be here after this season.

I’m def not as high on the Zach Edey vs Draymond matchup, Edey tends to get the ball stripped rather easily when he’s backing down defenders and I feel might have a career turnover night against Green

I agree with Joe on this one, Edey is too important to not prioritize his PT. The Grizz need him to develop into a Brook Lopez type player and the only way he will do that is by figuring it out on the court

They should’ve challenged that offensive foul call on Jaren. That was disappointing and was a crucial moment. Lakers are treating so unfairly at home by the refs, it was actually great that the Grizz had a chance, they fought hard. Great game by Knecht. Wells and Huff shouldn’t be overlooked

It was a well fought game and I loved the backwards dunk by Huff. As much as I hate it I gotta give Lebron the props because he has always had our number. I think they just fizzled out there at the end. They simply just ran out of gas but it was a fun game to watch
