That is really a Nice old lock. Great you got the wheels spinning again. Nobody will in 100 years sit and look at a chinese padlock and tell that it still works after 100 years, with just a little love and oil.
GOOD MORNING BOBBY. LOVE THAT LOCK HOW COOL GLAD YOU DEFEATED THE COMBINATION THAY WERE ON TO SOMETHING IN 1912 .GREAT REVIEW. I WILL HAVE TO TRY AND FIND ONE. 😎😎😎😎😎
I have one of these exactly the same with combo but I can't get the shackle to remove like you did, is there a trick? It would make cleaning so much easier
I just got my 2nd Junkunc combination padlock today. The first one is larger than yours with a diamond on the dial, a diamond cutout on the face at 0 and normal numbering on the face. My second combination lock is the same as yours. I was working on decoding it while I was watching your video, not paying attention to the numbers, and I was turning the dial...........click! Arrrrg! Well, I know that the last number is 27...ha..ha..ha!
If you have the last # you might be able to get it open by trying one #at a time with the #27. Mine was only a two # combo. I think Steel Pinnings opens his in one.
Really cool lock! I found one just like this and unfortunately it was closed. Any tips on how to decode it? I put some pressure on the top and could feel it lock/unlock in place, but I'm not sure if I should start going counterclockwise or clockwise first like modern locks. Any tips?
After posting this, I was able to unlock it, but wasn't paying attention to my first number, and honestly can't remember which way I was spinning the lock to unlock it. Is it counterclockwise first, or clockwise first?
I have a lock just like the one shown in your video but don't have a clue as to how to figure out the combination. Can you or have you already made a video on how to decode these antique Junkunc Bros combo padlocks?
Bobby Keyz that would be great! I’ve been messing with it and just noticed it does have a 0. Which does seem lightly different than yours but looks exactly the same otherwise. Above the serial number it has a C and the gentleman that says you helped him decode his on UA-cam in a video had a B. Does yours have a B?
Nice! I have one it is in great condition. I just can't figure out the combination.
To be honest, it's been so long that I can't remember how I decoded it.

Rune International yeah this lock is pretty sweet. I'm really happy to have it working again.

That was so long ago I cant remember. I would have to play with it for a bit to see what I was feeling in the schacle when I was decoding it.
