Sure, a higher level footballer has to be in better shape physically and that requires work on their part. But I refuse to believe they work harder overall.

They don’t work harder. They work like 15-20 hours a week and most of them don’t even play come match day.
Most of them retire before 40 and aren’t even playing regularly first team football until they’re early 20s. If they can steal a fortune for playing for a game then they can deal with the schedule.
And no one is forcing them to play international tournaments, no one is even forcing them to play football at all. If it’s too much than go work at a grocery store or something.
Got people on construction sites doing 12 hours a day don’t see they complaining these footballers are pathetic

f1 yes but not nfl, footballers work way harder than nfl players. F1 work rate is crazy, drivers lose around 3 kilos of weight per race with a heart rate of 170-180 bpm for the whole race, not to mention the force that their necks have to endure.

Honestly, I really don't get why Football Players are not advocating for bigger squad limits. Because its clear that 25 players are inadequate for the fixture schedule that we have today.
Hence why the limit should be increased to 35-40 players instead.

@LoyalFan9383 Don't allow UEFA to expand UCL, the group stage is already too long. Keep same amount of domestic league games. But shorten regular season to allow longer offseason break. Top flight clubs start Cup comps in 1-2 rounds later than lower division clubs. Get rid of the Nations League International competition in Europe.

The most mental of all is English football because we have the most physical league,two domestic cup competitions,the big 6 play European football as well and we only get about 10 days break mid season when La Liga,Ligue1,Serie A and Bundesliga have only one domestic cup and 2 weeks break with Bundesliga having 3 weeks break mid season.
