Nooooooooo why every 4 years, every 2 or 3 years was better, some players miss their chances because 4 years is too long, they get burnout or injuries in that four years span, if it’s in every 2 or 3 years we will get fresher n more newer players every fifa club World Cup and legends can participate multiple times, legends like messi n ronaldo, if they in their 35/36, every 2 of 3 years they will be like 37/38 for their one last participation but every 4 years they will be 40, that’s too old.

I thought of these too, but I consider it a non issue. Football in our era is purely transfer driven.
My own issues with the competition is it has the possibility of clashing with national team competition & representation and offers the players little time to rest & recover.
On one side, I really love the competition not because of it can crown a world champion but because it offers more content for me as a fan cos summers are really boring in the years where there're no national team competition.
As a human I want the players to rest, as a fan lol I wish they don't and the issues above sadly aren't my headache and yours too.

This is just going to lead to super clubs. Forget Europe for a minute.
What this is going to do is create superclubs in every continent, since only handful of same clubs will participate every year. Look at it like the parachute payment clubs in EFL.
Once these clubs start owning their leagues, essentially turning it into one club league, they will demand even more money, which will then result in a super league in future, except not just for Europe but the world.

So are we saying that players of successful clubs just don't get breaks/pre seasons anymore then? Season starts in August, play through until May, this tournament starts in June, even if it's done within a month (which normally a 32 team world cup does take a full month) means that players will be off in July, when pre season is going and need to be back at their clubs ready for August again.
I know it's not every year so shouldn't be that big of a deal, but then you also have the World Cup and Euros in two of the 3 years that the Club World Cup isn't active, so players get one summer off every 4 years if they play for a big team? Sounds... Interesting.

I love the idea of the Club World Cup, of bringing clubs from every part of the world, and am a big supporter of the current version, even attending a game this past edition in Morocco. It feels like it will be more like the FA Cup, there'll be a huge variety in the level of the clubs, and though everyone will love to see some plucky underdog beating someone they weren't expected to and everyone calling it a giantkilling, they'll still get Man City in the next round and get crushed. Then we'll end up with mostly European clubs in the quarters and probably all European clubs in the semis. I mean Europe and South America already completely dominate the world cup, and that is before nicking all the best players from the other confederations.
I'm not sure if clubs from the weaker confederations being served up to get hammered by billion pound squads from Europe is really a good way of promoting the game in other continents, but maybe that's not the point and it's just the best option for FIFA making more money.

I remember a time up until just after the creation of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2000 where European teams and South American teams were practically tied when it came to World Championships. I think it was 22 titles vs 21 titles. The reality since then has been that the economics just will not allow South American teams to be successful outside of their own continent. European teams have won 16 titles to South America's 4 since then. South American teams simply cannot afford to keep their players as the European teams are so much more powerful economically. Players leave (and this isn't a criticism) South America because European teams are able to pay them so much more. One can see that if you break down the winning European teams since 2000 and analyze the nationalities of the players on the rosters. South American players (along with a lesser amount from other continents) were integrated into these teams whereas in the past you did not get such an expansive variety of nationalities representing club teams. I don't think FIFA would be able to rival UEFA. The best players have, do, and will continue to go ply their trade for UEFA teams. My apologies for the long winded post.

Unless we're talking about the teams fighting to avoid relegation, those are the only really entertaining matches. While, lets say the MLS, where the talent is inarguably much, much worse, it's a more exciting league to me. It's not predictable. Teams are a little more equal. And it holds my interest. Will the FIFA Club World Cup surpass the UEFA Champions League??????...
The answer to this question is simple, the Club World Cup "WILL" become the number one club completion, surpassing the European Champions League, and for one very good reason. In fact, it would already be the premier international club competition if it had done what it should have done in the first place i.e.... STAY IN ITS LANE!!!
What makes the FIFA World Cup so delicious has always been the fact that it happens so infrequently, by mirroring its big brother, the Club World Cup will reap a similar reward. The European Champions League cannot hope to compete with its global equivalent once FIFA stops trying to compete with it on a year-to-year basis.
For Example: Once upon a time, the English FA Cup used to be the most sought-after domestic trophy, even more important than winning the league or the old European Cup (now the Champions League).
    Why?...
Because once upon a time (unless it happened to be a World Cup year) the FA Cup was the only live football game you would see on television. That made it soooo special to both players and fans alike. The two main TV networks would give it priority programming starting from early in the morning. Nowadays, with so much live football on TV, nobody really cares that much about winning it, certainly not anything like the desire to win the EPL.
The FIFA World Cup on the other hand has not lost any of its appeal in the face of so much live football. And it never will. That four-year wait is always worth the wait and the FIFA "Club" World Cup on a four-year cycle will reap the benefit of this as well.
SIDE NOTE: Had FIFA Implemented this format when it first had the idea way back in the late 70s, it would have been even more interesting and garnered even more interest, because back then there was a lot more parity between the leagues, certainly more parity between the European and South American Leagues.
In fact, if the history of the Intercontinental Cup is any indication, the South American Clubs would most likely have come out on top.
Africa would also have carried much more weight because most of its best and brightest players (like Cameroon Legend Roger Milla) would still have been playing for African clubs and no doubt would have viewed the tournament as the best way to get snapped up by the bigger and richer European clubs.

It’s just a safety net for the big name clubs who regularly reach the quarter finals just by having more money than others and it will increase the money gap. It’s also ludicrous that a random team of the host nation just gets a spot while 3 champions of the Oceanic „champions league“ can’t compete.
It should be 4 champions from all 6 continents (24 teams), then maybe the 4 losing finalists from the uefa and conmebol competitions to make it 32 teams, as those teams at least reached a final to deserve qualifying.

I think Europe, only needs Champions League and Europa League. Other conferences could follow suit and use the winners of those tournaments to qualify for the club world cup. Continental organization should realistically have one major competition, and if they can a secondary tournament, just like Europe and South America.

The winner, and hell, probably all of the QF’s would almost certainly be completely European every year. Not that thats not how it is every year, but making a massive competition out of it is another thing.
I also worry about player burnout. We’ve been seeing it more and more in recent times with how many more games have been played, and just adding another WC style tournament seems like it would definitely add to the injury crisis. They key to avoiding this would be to have bigger squads with more rotation players, which wouldn’t be an issue to to European clubs (except Liverpool), as they have money to spend, but smaller clubs from anywhere else wouldn’t have the money that have in Europe to compete.
I do think it could be great motivation for smaller leagues/teams, though. Hopefully that extra push for big competition could improve leagues in the rest of the world.
With that, I don’t think it will ever be able to be a perfectly fair competition, not by the fault of FIFA, just inherently. But, I would still love to see this competition play out, as I still think it’s a great thing for smaller clubs/leagues to be able to compete with bigger sides.

My only gripe with this is that we pretend like the biggest teams don't already have massive squads.
The solution to potential player burnout is to simply trust more of your players. Instead of giving the most minutes to the same 16-18 players, spread the minutes more evenly to more of your fringe players. If the money is there the big clubs will go but I do not think the level of competition will be very good. The European clubs will crush everyone because they have the best talent. I can't see fans getting very excited seeing one of the European teams playing a team from Africa or South Korea for example. I am not saying the fans from those other regions are not important but Europe is the nexus of world football. The one thing that could upset them is whether or not the top clubs send their best players. Pro athletes need an off-season and the European regular season is still more important because it qualifies you for the European club competitions. To me, this seems like another front in the struggle between FIFA and UEFA about more control over world football rather than the best interest of the game.
