We've also recorded conversations with the senior campaign team which raise questions over whether the party may have breached legal spending limits - something it denies.

I’ll be honest I was apathetic about voting, as I see it over all the Conservatives and Labour differences are basically the colour of the rosette. This kinda of media hatchet job has convinced me to get out and vote reform if only to have my vote counted. I’m in a Labour safe seat, democracy is dead.

Andrew Parker is an actor, from London, who strangely travelled 85 miles to canvass Farage's constituency. It states on his page that he specialises in 'rough voices' which he uses here, not his own spoken voice and also 'undercover filming' Channel 4 claim they did not pay Parker, but of course they paid the production company who set this up. Parker has also worked for the production company before for Ch4. Channel 4 need investigating for election interference.

There are two points here I'd make.
1: The guy appears to be an actor, a member of Equity Union, and has a demo tape on the internet showing off the 'rough' voice he can affect, which is the same voice he uses in the channel 4 'gotcha'. To be clear, the voice he uses in the channel 4 clip is not his natural voice. It's a practiced accent he is adopting to make him sound more 'common'. That's all HUGELY suspicious, and it certainly does seem like he's working to undermine Reform.
2: What needs to be investigated is to what degree channel 4 are complicit.
However when GB News got in touch with Andrew Parker he dismissed such theories and said that while he was goaded by the undercover reporter, he rejected any suggestion that he was a ‘paid actor’ set-up to make Reform look bad.

I am not originally born in the UK and have made the UK my home. Just because one is discussing and trying to deal with issues such as immigration (which can be race and nationality related), doesn't mean that you are racist.

I have not seriously considered Reform as a party to vote for. But now that I see a string of suspicious looking "smears" against them, it's made me look at them more seriously!
Do run through Reform's common sense policies in more detail. It will open your eyes to how different they are from the main establishment parties. That was what got me as a voter.

Well considering most reform voters are former tory voters and Labour voters it's not hard to see why they are upset. They've voted for 14 years straight to reduce immigration in every general election only to be totally ignored, called bigots for even being slightly concerned about the numbers and have those numbers reach record levels not seen before since the Norman invasion. The failure of the centre to address people's concerns using the democratic process has pushed people all across Europe to the extremes and you can't blame them. Why should they vote for the centrist parties that have taken their votes for granted and treated their voters with contempt
The frank conversation is the woke globalism has gone too far, and this has been the case for a while. All Brexit proved is that things were a lot worse domestically than we realized. Neither party wanted it, and did all they could to stop and undermine it. When you treat people with utter disrespect and contempt, no matter how patient and reasonable they've been jumping through every hoop, at some point they'll stop playing nice and start sending some of that disrepect and contempt in the oppersite direction.

A lawsuit should be brought against the actor and also channel 4 for setting it up and undoubtably paying him to do this.
Channel 4 used a production company and will try to pass the blame onto them. However that won't work - they failed to vet the production company for impartiality. Also the fact that they have left this video up, is a serious aggravating factor and shows that they have been complicit in the libel.

It is not a defence is English law to claim that you are just repeating someone else's libel. (And I'm assuming that they have been put on notice that it is libellous). The only possible excuse is that it's the weekend and they haven't been able to contact their lawyers yet, but given the gravity of the allegation that won't wash.

They do.. It's easy to get them doing it too. I talk to loads of racists in pubs, when I'm playing in bands and once you've dropped a few 'dogwhistle' comments and they think you're one of them, they will tell you the nastiest things, with a big grin on their faces and buy your beer all night.

@@jonathanmarkham1998It’s because they were at a gathering of people like themselves. They weren’t making these comments publicly, but in front of others of their own group, to people they’re confident share the same views. They didn’t know that someone was undercover filming.
People will be a lot more open in front of people that they believe think the same way as them, and they likely have had other similar conversations at other similar events as well, making them feel comfortable with such topics when with people from the same group.
To them, in that situation, among that group, they wouldn’t have felt they were being outwardly racist at all. In a different setting I agree, they likely wouldn’t be so openly racist. In Reform however, racism is far more normalised.
