any AIR FRYER : Big Tip (Scoville 16 months on)

my big tip for using AIR FRYERS (really small intense fan ovens).
for tastier food and easier cleaning.
Air Fryer used : Scoville SAF102B
bought : ASDA £59 (Nov22)
price Mar24 : £35 (normal price now ?)
Great for price, does the job. Feels a bit old fashioned now. Air Fryer market seems new and evolving fast.
16 months of use and no problems.
Bonus tip :
if its smoky, the fat is hitting the fan (well the cooker ring really).
Turn the temp down.
I think cos of the small space and big cooker ring and big fan, the temp is maybe higher than it says.
I only set the smoke alarm off once. Probably won't again.
Are Air Fryers good for cooking ?
I think so. Best/easiest way to fry/bake ? If you can get the food in.
For 'wet' cooking (e.g. steaming) I use a modern type Pressure Cooker.

I've just bought one of these to replace and old Tower unit. Well impressed up to now. Also I use the round 'white paper type' liners, no washing needed and they were quite cheap.

I guess even a cooking tray could be used, but the standard 'small' cheap ones from Asda etc dont seem to fit.
Maybe even greaseproof paper and throw it in the bin (rather than adding to fatberg).
