Thank you for that. My sister just bought one, to save using the oven now gas/electricity prices have gone through the roof. I’m also considering buying one. As a visual learner, I need to see something being used to understand how to use it. Your video was very useful. Cheers, xx
mate, I've wanted to try curly fries in my Air Fryer for years, I bought a pack based on this video and cooked em like you did...OMG!!! perfect, The back said bake for 20-25 mins @ 220 degrees in the oven, they would of been incinerated!! I did 170 for 14 mins like you and yeah perfection! If anything thanks for teaching me how to cook my curly fries in my air fryer ha.

So finally i decided to try and find a good review and could not find one of course untill now. You have made my mind up to buy one for my home. Thank you for the brilliant review. I cannot choose between the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone airfryer AF300EU and this Grill Max from Ninja you show here. What are the pros and cons basically between them that you would say is worth to consider before deciding? Thanks for getting back, trying to get one for Black Week/Friday now! 😊
Hi, sorry for the late reply just seen your comment. I would go with this because you have the air fryer and grill, if you go for the dual air fryer, you only get the air fryer. My brother bought the dual air fryer and then when he seen this, he's like we made the wrong decision. However if you are going to use the air fryer a lot then the air fryer is best because you can air fryer two different foods.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS I see! But would you say that this issue of not being able to cook two things at the same time given you problems! Like if you grill something and then must wait for air frying fries your grilled meat will get cold during the time and vice versa!? Or how do you solve this issue? I am starting a keto lifestyle now with a focus on lot of meat.. and my apartment is small and so I have found the kitchen fan not being sufficient enough to get rid of all steam and fat when frying meat in a pan... So this is why I also was thinking that one of these would be better... does it come out any smell or smoke from these machines in your kitchen when cooking or does it stay 100% inside the machine?! How does that work?
Yeah unfortunately this does let out smoke and smells. We have a larger kitchen with double patio doors and an extractor fan, when we cook meat we have to open both doors. We have a few air fryers so we don't have the issue of food getting cold, but you are right. I would say go with the double air fryer. I have ordered a new Tefal air fryer and grill but haven't received it yet, so can't comment about how much smoke it will let out.
Good review like someone else in the posts I got it when it was on sale and reduced by £100. Pretty good piece of kit and works well. But not a 10 from me, -1 because the spatter guard has a tendency to fall out at the higher temperatures and is difficult to clean even in the dishwasher and -1 again because the element is non removable for cleaning. Still worth it and I use it a lot.
@@matty6848 I like it a lot. I am cooking more and more stuff on it. So unfortunately I can't give you exact sale timings.

Great video and great review. I wonder what the studies have shown for cooking foods in an air fryer. Like long term studies, how healthy is it? Thanks for sharing
Hi - can you tell me what you coated your chicken in? It looks delicious, have done steak with some steak seasoning but can't find an already made 'chicken seasoning'.
Hi we just used : Chilli powder 2tsp Paprika 1tsp Cumin seeds 1tsp Onion powder 2tsp Coriander powder 2tsp Pinch of salt and pepper Veg oil 1 1/2 tbsp Mixed everything together, left it to marinade for a hour then grilled.
Thank you, really helpful. I wonder if you have tried breaded homemade items like vegan/ chicken nuggets, coated cauliflower bites, Pakora or Bhajis. I make these but want to avoid deep frying.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS I'm awaiting a ninja delivery, I cant wait to receive and start cooking. Gammon steaks are the first meat we are going to try. Thanks again
Love the grill GrumpyMan, thanks again for brilliant video. We use the grill for all our meals, my daughter is baking mini sponge cakes in it, scones, fritters. We had garlic and herb chicken breast this eve for dinner, marinaded and cooked in just 22 minutes! It's an absolute game changer!
Great video. Is it as noisy as it sounds or is it just a sensitive microphone picking up the background noises and making them sound louder? I would have to avoid it if it’s too loud as my child gets sensory overload
Nice review but I would like to see actual meals being cooked, by that i mean chicken and chips rather than single food items. That is after all what most meals are like. Can this device do that?
Once the food is cooked and removed, do you MANUALLY have to turn it off to stop the thing burning electricity? I tend to leave mymain oven on and burn electricty and a mild chance of burning house down.
I’ve decided to post a review after reading some negative ones ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB I followed the cleaning instructions prior to using and preheated as well to ensure that we didn’t get the “plastic” smell or taste some have mentioned in other comments. I cleaned the basket with vinegar and water and the dish soap, and preheated it 3x to be sure. Honestly, the cooking time took about 30 min for larger wings and it’s a good idea to turn the meat half way through to cook evenly. The meat taste delicious 😋 Also, there is no mess on the counter from the vapor released during cooking time.
I want to get this but I read a review by someone else that’s it’s hell to clean and you can’t clean it properly especially the hood Please what is your view as you’ve had it awhile and how do you manage to clean it thank you
ah cool man. I do them from scratch all the time in my Tefal XL and even when I use Maris Piper potatoes the paddle does do some damage and mangle the potatoes a bit. I'll take a photo next time
