I got myself the pro 2 and had that “pure” logo on the front stem, it’s real easy to get off, it’s juts a sticker that you peel off, then I rubbed the stem down with some alcohol wipes.

@@Ioana. well... unfortunately for me. I’m in the U.K. and just last week I was stopped by the police, made aware I was breaking the law. For not having tax or insurance.. (even tho legally I can not obtain this documentation) They seized my scooter and have given me a fine an I also have to go to court! They didn’t give me the change of a warning and to only drive on private land. I must have been goin 6mph when they seen me as I was coming off a bicycle lane ready to cross the road! I was literally 60 feet away from my home. So my advice would be just hold off until they are legal in the U.K. If you are outside of the U.K.... then I would highly recommend the xiaomi pro 2 scooter! Some modifications you can quite easily add too if you want to give it a more comfortable ride. (E.g front suspension & a wider deck standing board so you can comfortably place feet for long journeys) - Berry boards - Hope that helps

Technically they are illegal to ride anywhere other than private property but no one enforces the rule, of you live in a big city you will see people using them all the time.

Xiaomi is a more established brand with plenty of accessories and spare parts. They will also have a greater resale value than the pure. You can also hack the Xiaomi easily and get more usable power.
buddy I have unlocked the speed on my Pro 2 so I can go 20mph but when I click on the app it says there is a firmware update if I do that will I lose the the extra 5mph or will stay the same help please
@@emls6441 How's it mean? On the box says max weight is 100kg and scooter itself weights 14kg, the closer you are to the limit the more the motor is taxed. Lose weight or buy those bigger 17-21kg scooters that support upto 120kg
Mate, any bother from police? I have crap e scooter and it’s bumpy as hell with hard tyres . I bought a quality £900 40mph scooter with great suspension but after finding out about police taking peoples scooters and giving out big fines, I’m going to send my scooter back. Bit gutted but I can’t risk it being taken away. I’m probably going to also sell my crap scooter. I was going to just use it to go shopping but now I feel anxious about police.
My thoughts are that if you're responsible when riding then I think the police will have much better things to do rather than stop you. Keep off paths, wear a helmet and ride with consideration for others and you should be fine. However, until the law changes it's always a risk.
if u go over square tiles, at higher speed you can feel them bumpy, on good asphalt is much smoother. It's nothing major, you can still drive over tiles. For road patches that have slight edges, it's best to slow dow before them, seems higher speed makes the shock much higher. So it is more sensitive to bumps than a bike, you just need to be more careful, avoid them or slow down before them.
if you are from the uk buy it off of halfords, if you want to get rid of the 'mi.com' sticker just cover it with lack spray paint, it worked well for me

Do it! You’ll be fine. However, you might want to get one that’s waterproof if you’re going to use it all the time. Consider the Pure Electric ones.

It lasts up to 28 miles maximum so u should be good to go on a full charge because u will only be doing 15 miles in total👍🏻

I wouldn't update any firmware if you have already hacked it as it will replace all the changes you've made.

Yes still fells good quality. Doesn’t feel so fast though which is odd.

Yes you can. You can also hack the firmware to release more torque.
