As a kid 70 yrs ago the junkyards had many buses filled with car parts but they were buses from the 20_30 era .many of those buses of that era had a stovepipes and we're people's homes in the country.or a diner .🤗 None were saved .
There is a 1940 Dodge (Chrysler) school bus. There are 1940-1959 GMC and Flxible (Flexible spelled without the first "E") public transit busses and many buyers are restoring the busses with later chassis and newer rims with tubeless tire for a fresher look. They also put in the newer automatic transmission. The only thing I do miss is the street cars and it is before my time.
