Hello! one of the community contriubuters here, I would just love to add that working on slimekeep has been overall a great experience, its inspired me to actually start developing my own games, and actually just get good at my hobbies.
I'm grateful that I could contribute to Slimekeep

It's funny you mention the top wishlists thing... My game isn't on the INDIE filter, but it *is* on the ACTION and RPG filters... which is strange because my store settings have Indie as the primary tag. Not sure why that is, but oh well!

Awesome video as always. I too have just started making my first ever game aged 42 and scared to learn. I have no coding experience and I’m learning Unity and C# as I go. Your channel helps me stay focused and keeps me moving forward, so thank you 😊

I'm curious about others experience: 100 undiscovered bugs (presumably mostly mild severity or less) on release sounds low to me, given what I know about other software. Is that about the norm, high, or low for a small indie game?

Another amazing interview! It's super motivating to hear that BenBonk started off with a game jam devlog as I'm planning to release my first video, also a game jam devlog, in the next couple of days :D
Eagerly looking forward to the next interview!

43:00 In my experience, pretty much all publishers are 'out to screw you'. Some are simply more polite and allow you to make some money. Others, not so much. Or they simply don't "do much" in terms of marketing and such. Yes, getting _some_ funding for your game upfront might sound awesome, but there's usually a catch if a game doesn't make money. And yes, most publishers want to profit from _your_ hard work. It's basically what they do.
