A lot of people don’t pay attention to health details until they’re older or something happens. We are not taught to be proactive, but I think it’s been changing over time. There’s way more awareness now, whereas previously what we saw pertained mainly to exercise routines and appearances. I think we are more focused on health and healthy actions. More understanding is crucial, and breeds compassion towards ourselves and others. We need to operate as a collective.
What I meant by the collective comment, is that the norm should be understanding as a whole and support for all of us, not just the people who don’t have health and mental issues. If you do not have issues, be aware that one day you might or might find a loved one who does. Or maybe with more compassion we will all help each other, not just people in health fields and such and not always for pay. What kind of place would be in as a society if we all cared more about ourselves and others? Bravo to the guests as well for being brave and coming forth on camera to share their stories. Sometimes that can be hard to do and talk so openly about the details and experiences.
I saw most of this signed out of my account and am finishing it now. Great show 🙌
