Fantastic watch! Not made (probably) for everyone, but for those looking for a classic, sleek and very light timepiece - the minimalists. Just awesome.
Wauw! Fantastic watch 👌 Love the extreme thiness of the case and the Bauhaus design. Very legible design and for me reminiscent to some of the designs from Junghans watches. Thanks for pointing this one out Toni 🔥 great review ⌚️📸😎
Reminds of a clock I'd see at a train station, in a good way. Have enough white dialed watches and especially an exquisite titanium watch, so for me, this one is not ringing any bells, but as always, exquisite review, Toni 🤘🏻
Love this idea but, like most watches with white dials, it's the wrong tint and hue of white. It's too bright. The Patek Philippe Calavtrava is too bright also. Against the black graphics, the Mudita Element's dial freezes up. White is very difficult to get right. A warmer, ivory (not yellow) dial would soften the harshness. Also, I don't believe the dial is 38mm. It's too big for most people, myself included.
$700 for a watch that looks like a Tixex Easy Reader, and it's a waste of an SW300 movement since it lacks a sweep second hand. Junghans, Mondaine, Movado, and NOMOS have proven that "minimalist" doesn't mean boring and styleless. They all make iconic, minimalist watches, that have a recognizable design. There is nothing that provides any visual interest with this watch, that can be charitably described as "utilitarian". The only upside is that no Chinese brand will try to homage this model.
Design is subjective. I'm not a fan of divers, but that doesn't mean I don't understand why people like them. Even with the small sample size of the comments on this video, there are people that really like this design. As a matter of fact, the simple fact you mention Movado, one of the most "controversial" brands, shows that beauty's in the eye of the beholder. So, if we leave aside, as I always do, the aesthetics, what's left behind is a well built thin Titanium watch with a great movement inside. 999 MSRP is, indeed, high, but, If not for the missing seconds hand blunder, I would've said KS price is befitting of the quality.
@@themicrobrandexpert I have seen another UA-cam review where the comments were not so charitable to the "design" choices. I know these things are subjective, but for me the design is so boring that the movement and thinness seem wasted.
I'll go with my classic joke: Masochist begs the sadist. "Hit me, beat me, humiliate me!", to get the reply: "...not today, maybe tomorrow" I'll tease you... tomorrow... PS (send me an e-mail with a picture of your frustrated face if you can't help it anymore... I won't reply! 😂😂😂😂)

Maximalism in price, minimalism in design. I prefer to stay in the middle... 😜
Midimalism
Thanks, I want this. Looks like an office wall clock and that works for me🎉
That's what it reminds me of! That was spot on.

Thank you for watching, Dick! This one's one seconds hand away from being one of the best I've reviewed!

That is why God created the Mondaine.
Hi! Thank you for this review
Thank you for the opportunity! Good luck with the launch!
When these become commercially available I am definitely going to have a new aspirational watch.
They are available right now on KickStarter, for 40% off the retail price, with delivery expected in July!
@@themicrobrandexpert I know but I just made a very large watch purchase and can't justify the purchase right now.
@@EiferBrennan, that's great and completely understandable, didn't intend to put you on the spot.
@@themicrobrandexpert it's all good, no pressure was felt on my part. Have a great day, my friend.
That thinness is impressive for an automatic. It's slightly pricey though.

That unfortunately looks like a Timex dial. Nomos nails simplicity without looking like a Timex
That's if you reduce a watch to its dial.
@@themicrobrandexpert I like the rest of it. To each their own, but I think calling it a Nomos is a huge stretch
