Lucy Royal was murdered by twins, which made the case almost impossible for the police - their DNA was the same. It's a really interesting investigation. They did get them in the end but not for murder, unfortunately.

The photo of Louise at 42:26 might be one of the most eerie pictures I've ever seen. I can't describe the feeling I get from it. It's clear that something is very, very wrong. I pray her poor family will get the answers they need.
Its too bad with the advances in technology that when we microchip our dogs & cats they arent advanced with GPS, yes the microchip is great if the animal is by chance scanned by a vet and they can be returned to their owners but it would be so beneficial if we could track our animals if they get lost or stolen.. Hopefully one day that will be possible ❤️🐾
I was shocked to learn that the disappearance of Lewis Haines was only solved in 2010. It turns out that Lewis' remains had been found shortly after he vanished, but that the police had erroneously dated the remains as being from the 1950's.
@@OJF1905 I found an old article from the Yorkshire Post and it quoted a police officer who declared that the case had been thoroughly investigated but that no evidence was found to support the possibility of third party involvement.

And her ex had only just been released from prison the previous day after serving time for an armed robbery charge where Lucy testified against him. The ex, his twin and the twin's ex-girlfriend were all held for questioning immediately after the murder, but no charges were laid until Lucy's murderer confessed.
I am just trying to visualise a 6' 7" man taking off on his moped. I should imagine that he stood out like a sore thumb and hope that he was found soon after bearing in mind the seriousness of the crimes.

Sarah Benford has never been found, nor anyone charged with any offence.
The hgv killer was found and given only 6 years jail shocking
Credit for a guilty plea and its a manslaughter charge. He was under 18 when he committed the offence as well.
Absolutely sickening attack 😡

Only 9 years for James Dobson's death. that's disgusting 😢
That's because it was manslaughter.
@@CARLIN4737I think he meant it should’ve been a lot longer it was such a barbaric and unnecessary attack on an innocent person
Dean should’ve got a longer sentence for what he did to James it was such a horrific thing to do to anyone Xxx
