- The process of returning some migrants the United States to Mexico began just days after Donald Trump's inauguration. Across Mexico, migrants from multiple nations looking to cross the border into the United States for a host of reasons, whether in search of asylum or economic opportunity, voiced concern for what next steps they could or should take.
Likewise, authorities at the border shared they expect an uptick in illegal activity, whether human trafficking or otherwise, as those with vested interest become more "desperate."

Birthright citizenship is another powerful incentive that needs to go. That amendment was never intended to support the children of the world. SCOTUS needs to interpret it properly. No need to change the amendment,which would be much harder.
Trump already signed an EO cutting off all taxpayer funds going to NGOs that support illegal immigrants. Hotels, food cards, free medical, phones -- all this nonsense should be gone soon. Those are strong incentives too.

I don't agree with illegal immigration but people who talk like you sound ignorant. It's extremely difficult to immigrate legally unless you have a good amount of money. Only rich people can immigrate, not working class people. As someone who immigrated for a while from the US to Europe, which is comparatively much easier than moving from the global south to a western country, I can tell you that I was only able to do that because I have a graduate degree, a high paying job, and could fork over about $20k to make it happen. The idea that people are just choosing to come illegally rather than legally is ignorant. The people who are coming illegally would almost certainly not be able to come legally. They always say they want to work and 'luchar' which means try to get ahead. As if they 'deserve' to live in the US because they will work. But each and every one of them takes a job away from an American. And collectively, they depress wages for American workers and suck up social benefits. They have no sense of responsibility in terms of not having a big family if they can't afford it. Doesn't even register. He seems like an OK guy but it IS an entitled attitude. No-one invited him, and he's not wanted or needed. And it's not as if life is easy for most Americans; they are struggling too. These people TRULY need to work for change at home and maybe if they understand that there is no promised land that they will be able to go to, it will force them to fight for their own nations.

Totally agree. Problem is, they don't want to work. They're coached to say that. They're non-contributing, gov't dependent, entitled, demanding people that their govt's were more than happy to get rid of. They're benefit shoppers. They pay thousands to break in because they know it'll pay off with free shelter, food, clothing, transportation, education, medical care, welfare benefits, iPhone, etc. They have no idea that money comes from us. A Venezuelan woman was interviewed in NYC last week as she walked around shopping while pushing her kid in a stroller. She's been here since August, living in a hotel in downtown Manhattan for $9K/month. Her room is cleaned & they put clean sheets on the bed every day. Her laundry is done daily. The hotel provides daycare for the children. They have 3 hot meals delivered every day. She was asked if her baby was born here & she said, of course. She was asked if a lot of illegals get pregnant as soon as they get here so they can stay & she said, yes. When asked how many migrants had babies in her hotel the last 6 months, she said thousands. And best of all, when asked if it cost anything to have her baby here, she said NO, it's free. She went on to say "It's not recommended to have a baby in Venezuela because it cost a lot of money & we have to pay for it. It was recommended that we come here to have a baby because it's free. And, it'll be a citizen." We provide them with a crib, clothing, medical check ups, diapers, formula, toys, stroller & EVERYTHING else they need. They're not embarrassed about it, at all.
They're here to pop out babies, get freebies, contribute nothing & not assimilate in any way. We will send them ALL back. 🇺🇲🙏🏼💞

Yep talking about freebies these people are being placed in programs that they offer Americans. Some women are coming in pregnant so that they are not deported, and on top of that we the taxpayers are paying their hospitalizations. They get snap and many work under the table to get away from paying taxes. I’m tired of paying taxes for even Americans, paying taxes for non Americans, and here you have illegals getting everything for free. I have been working since I was 16 and now I’m 62. I’ve been paying taxes all this time. I went to college so I could have a better life and now I’m having to pay for these people that don’t belong in our country. I pay $800 every two weeks in taxes. Imagine if I didn’t have to pay taxes how much money I could add to my retirement. It’s the same with citizens. Many sit at home waiting for a check and majority are young able bodied people. Just the other day they interviewed a 19 year old healthy kid complaining that he wasn’t getting enough food stamps to pay for his food, what the fu$$ is a 19 year old doing on food stamps. The government needs to crack down on this program because I’m tired of paying all of these taxes.

As a native born American, I can say that I once lived in a primarily Mexican neighborhood and they treated me as though I was an unwanted foreigner.
Same here... like we are invading their space. This is the neighborhood I grew up in which was a very nice middle class neighborhood. Now it is primarily hispanic and a LOT of cars and trucks all line the drives & streets and homes not kept. My neighbor parks in between our houses so close to our bedrooom windows that when he starts his loud truck at 5:00 am it rattles the windows. Even though they know it's against city regulation they don't care. That said, i am not racist and I know for a fact they don't all live this way, but I wish they had more respect for the citizens and our country.
