I know that you were pressed for time, but I believe you may have missed some important details. Such as shock absorbers, washer/dryer prepped, 16 cubic ft fridge in a travel trailer, the table makes into a bed, the new 18000 chill cube, etc. We placed an order on this back in February and cannot wait until it arrives!
Brinkley knows how to do it! Visited their production facility last fall and was really impressed. If I ever replace my GD Reflection it will definitely be a Brinkley.
I love to cook. Would love to see the residential style stove/ oven and a convection/ air fryer microwave. And if possible put a power cord reel in the storage area. Minor tweaks from the looks of it. That would absolutely make this the perfect retirement trailer for me and the wife. Thanks for the video!
Really well-made machines. Watch the factory video on these--the QC stations are INSANE! I think these might be the best built out there right now. Resale should reflect that as well. Great video, as always!
Love it man! I would say some of the things you mentioned that were "missing" or that you wished were present were probably done a certain way to hit a certain price point. To me they hit almost all boxes for someone like me...nice quality and sub 100k...good job!
We have had our Brinkley 5th wheel for over a year and love it. The company has been very responsive to any problems or upgrades we wanted. I do wish we had the style of under bed storage in ours but we're not trading. We love our Brinkley.
Love the out side love these the black looks great! The front cap is nice. The out side storage is the best! The cabinets are nice. The paper towel holder. Love the colors. Nice to see all the storage is nice. The windows are nice. Like the huge shower. The cabinets are nice. Love the bed room. Have a good day JD!
Almost makes me want to go back to a bumper pull vs a 5th wheel. All joking aside it has everything we'd probably want in a TT or even a 5th wheel so bravo to the manufacturer on executing a great trailer.
The folks at Brinkley are doing a great job of addressing the issues with the problematic units churned out of Elkhart in recent years. Their QC is almost obsessive, and their customer service is top tier. I feel like their pricing is fair without the fake discounts considering the quality and support.
3:45 Your theory is off on the pricing a bit. You're not seeing a large discount because of the current popularity of Brinkley and dealers know this. Brinkley is the new shiny toy in the market...... for now atleast.
Reminds me of everyone freaking out over how great grand design was in the early days... If I could predict the future I'd say this company will start off great, then be sold to a manufacturer and be another sticker on a trailer.
Really like what they did here! Were you able to inspect the plumbing? Rigor RV has been critical on Brinkley for not using the correct connections and hoping that Brinkley, as a whole, addresses this. We've had our eye on their units.
The covered access in the pantry may also be a wire chase for roof to attic access. That's where it is in the 5th wheels. Per the spec sheet: "Wire Conduit for Aftermarket Upgrades (Roof> Interior> Basement)"
These are beautiful trailers. Would want a max fan in the bathroom. Wondering about boondocking though if you can't put out the slides. Will you be doing smaller travel trailers with more off roading features? You have done such a quality build. Very impressed but would love to see smaller units under 30 feet
I would recommend they put all those cabinet handle bumpers on the actual wall... I think they would not stand out as much, while also not giving your hand something to constantly bump/rub eventually causing them to fall off the handle you are constantly grabbing. But, great small detail they recognized!
It was the early 80’s. On the way to our cottage we passed a car towing a travel trailer towing a boat. Never seen such a setup. When returning from our cottage a couple of hours later and rejoining the highway - anarchy. The car and trailers were off the road, destroyed. A propane truck could be seen off the road and down an embankment.
I really like this unit, with one exception. I really wish that closet area that is shared with the bathroom was dedicated to the bedroom as hanging rack space. The small closets next to the bed just aren't big enough for mine and the wife's hanging needs.
It’s illegal to tow anything behind a bumper pool trailer in all states the hitch is for a rear rack for bicycles, generators, etc. The cool little cutouts in the propane box on the hitch are to provide ventilation for the propane storage. 👊👍😎
I'm waiting for the true quality reports and discussions to come out on this brand. Too new to judge so far, but they've certainly got alot of folks buying into the hype. We'll see.......
This is what I'm looking at getting next. Any more information on how the 18k AC is? Is it single directional dump only? Also, they are supposed to have a shock as part of the suspension as well. Oh, where is the battery storage location?
We love our Brinkley. Few complaints and at this price there should be none. Yes, they are doing so much that hasn’t ever been done before. Do you really think that they are not inflating MSPR, and then not offering deep discounting. Or are they perhaps coming in high and staying there. This has been a tactic that has worked for Apple Computer, John Deere and Harley Davidson.
Don't think that is what they are doing with the pricing. Just a ridiculous show price and more room to act like they are negotiating down the price in a ploy to get people to pay more. I have seen that done with all kinds of brands at shows. I look at the price sheet and say yeah right. A friend just bought a Brinkley toy hauler for 28% off MSRP.
This is something I would have bought if available in 2017, but now a lot of parks require that your rig has to be on average 10 years old or less. It's not worth the money. I personally saw a rig that looked brand new but was told that it was to old for their insurance purpose. If I thought that I could use it after I retired I would buy one. But not buying something that you can't park unless you buy a lot in a zoned area.
Sorry, not very impressive. First, the positives. The built-in floor safe is a really cool idea and impressive. Aesthetically pleasing exterior appearance. The propane enclosure is looks nice, but I wonder about the cost of repairing or replacing the shroud should it get damaged as opposed to replacing a plastic shroud. I did like the shower setup although it would've been nice to see it's operation. Obviously, not able in that setting. The negatives are really glaring and you did a great job of pointing those out. First is the privacy shades, some, not all? How difficult would that have been? I don't see it as a cost or weight savings. The stove was a real turn off. I could not tell, it wasn't pointed out, if there was an oven, but it did not appear have controls for one. I guess I don't understand why some cabinets and drawers were soft close, but some were not. I personally don't care if they soft close or not, but having a mix makes me wonder where else did they compromise. Good review though!
Not sure if I'm the outlier, or if people are just overlooking the style because everyone is impressed by the bands build quality and other aspects. When ever I look at the Brinkley soft product, including their color palate and the furniture choices, I just do not like them. Taste is subjective and to anyone who likes this, congrats on finding what seems to be a great product, it's just not the brand for me.
Why do the respective companies NOT give the bumper pulls the same glam as the fifth wheels? DO 3 steps really give them that much prestige? This one was awarded some, but hey, could have done better with the oven, and microwave. Too many colors going on. There's just no character or warmth in the space. Bathroom is a typical Brinkley look, but no storage? Not a fan of North to South bed layout. Not gonna put the bed in the air to put on my shoes... wheres the storage? Just too sterile looking for me.
I wish they would get away from the tacky “modern farmhouse” aesthetic. Farmhouse has a disingenuous air about it. The design equivalent to canned spaghetti. An elevated mid-century or European inspired interior would be more appropriate for this upscale brand.
I absolutely love it. But the small oven/stove is a big issue for my husband, and for that price point.. We’re waiting for Brinkley to use composite on interior walls too, then it seems like it would be Perfect!
Everything looks so cheap, like it will break in no time. The fact that they are charging what houses cost not too long ago and the quality is short lived on every trailer I've ever seen is ridiculous to me. I'd never buy one. People are taking buses and vans and making way better builds that would last much longer and many times little restriction on where you go with it, I can't ever see getting something like this.
Very concise review. No wasted commentary. The only additional info I'd like to have had is the dump outlet location. And, I don't care for the water outlet inside the pass through. That should have it's own location from the outside perhaps with it's own door, or only in the wet bay.
@@chlebowg I know that. I'm saying that I don't like a water source (outlet) in the pass through, where it is supposed to always remain dry. Any water connection presents an opportunity for leaks and unwanted wetness. Just my opinion.
The design outside and in is very beautiful. Even though its built out nicely I do think its over priced. I also wonder if the living space is offered in a reverse layout. I'd want my living space on the opposite slide out. There should also be a bedroom slide at this price point
Nice to have the pantry cabnit pulled out easier to get to the back end. The bedroom has a lot of storage. Great ideal to put a safe underneath the bed with a place to sit. Great layout.
Now build a half ton towable lifestyle (toy) hauler. Only one that's decent enough to pull that's not breaking 9500lbs is the newbo at 19ft. But it has a sideways bed and they put the stove next to the bed.
We went to this show specifically to look at brinkley. The build quality is so much better that ALL of the others. What we didnt like is the copper/gold fixtures
Buy from Brinkley now before 1 of the Big 3 buy it and ruin everything! Looks great Brinkley!
I know that you were pressed for time, but I believe you may have missed some important details. Have you picked up your trailer yet? If so, what do you think? We just ordered ours last Friday and get it in August. We can't wait!!
Love this travel trailer by Brinkley. They hit another home run with this design ☺️⚾️
Now we're get'n somewhere
Brinkley knows how to do it! Visited their production facility last fall and was really impressed. If I ever replace my GD Reflection it will definitely be a Brinkley.
Definitely a great couples camper! I love their bunkhouse model travel trailer too. They always make beautiful RV’s!😊
@patgober6971 batteries?
Brinkley does such a great job with their exterior graphics
I love to cook. Would love to see the residential style stove/ oven and a convection/ air fryer microwave. And if possible put a power cord reel in the storage area. Minor tweaks from the looks of it. That would absolutely make this the perfect retirement trailer for me and the wife. Thanks for the video!
Absolutely perfect for me... but I need W/D hookups. Get that built in somewhere and I'm in!
this does have W/D prep in the bedroom wardrobe
They really knocked it out the park with this one. The cabinets look amazing
80% of the camper is cabinets I’m not a fan of
If it had a place for a stackable washer dryer it be perfect 👍.
If you look at the Brinkley website floorplan it does have a W/D prep area in that storage area between the bathroom and the bedroom.
Really well-made machines. Watch the factory video on these--the QC stations are INSANE! I think these might be the best built out there right now. Resale should reflect that as well. Great video, as always!
Good engineering, good materials and good design. Makes most of the others look amateurish.
It’s incredible. Clever and subtle features. Love the dedicated desk area and solo bench dinette
Love it man! I would say some of the things you mentioned that were "missing" or that you wished were present were probably done a certain way to hit a certain price point. To me they hit almost all boxes for someone like me...nice quality and sub 100k...good job!
Demco couplers are superb. Such an improvement!
We have had our Brinkley 5th wheel for over a year and love it. The company has been very responsive to any problems or upgrades we wanted. I do wish we had the style of under bed storage in ours but we're not trading. We love our Brinkley.

Great travel trailer. Great for couples but would like to see an option from Brinkley that can sleep another person or 2
great review. needs washer /dryer and a different color option for sofa and chairs.
Almost makes me want to go back to a bumper pull vs a 5th wheel. All joking aside it has everything we'd probably want in a TT or even a 5th wheel so bravo to the manufacturer on executing a great trailer.
👍👍
I tow a TT and I have the Hensley Hitch setup. Although not exactly the same for obvious reasons, it does make it tow very similar to a 5th wheel.
The folks at Brinkley are doing a great job of addressing the issues with the problematic units churned out of Elkhart in recent years. Their QC is almost obsessive, and their customer service is top tier. I feel like their pricing is fair without the fake discounts considering the quality and support.

Honey that's where the Cowboys call home, whether they play, that's a different story!😂
We already ordered one, and should be here by June! Thank you so much for the video!
Very interested in your thoughts on those tires. I have heard so many opinions for and against traditional truck tires on trailers.
Brinkley is one of the very few RV manufacturers building quality units. IMO. Do wish this one had soft close drawers.👍🏻
Kitchen/living layout looks much like an Imagine 2670MK, which we would have purchased if we had a 3/4 ton.
Awesome video and nice trailer.
I'd expect a unit in this price range to have a W/D hook-up.
I wish that they would put washer/dryer prep into this unit. I love the floor plan it would be perfect if it had W/D prep
It does have W/D prep, he just missed that detail
The covered access in the pantry may also be a wire chase for roof to attic access. That's where it is in the 5th wheels. Per the spec sheet: "Wire Conduit for Aftermarket Upgrades (Roof> Interior> Basement)"

Was hoping for king bed but maybe not a deal killer. Airstream, here is your competition. Cool trailer.
I really like this unit, with one exception. I really wish that closet area that is shared with the bathroom was dedicated to the bedroom as hanging rack space. The small closets next to the bed just aren't big enough for mine and the wife's hanging needs.
I could live in that!❤

This Brinkley I like nice set up
Probably missed the comment. How long is this unit?
Very nice and the price surprised me .
This is what I'm looking at getting next. Any more information on how the 18k AC is? Is it single directional dump only? Also, they are supposed to have a shock as part of the suspension as well. Oh, where is the battery storage location?
Can the bathroom/bedroom linen cabinet be set up for a w/d unit(s). That's the only thing missing
Nice, does it come with lithium iron batteries, and solar?
Well thought out
Wish they could make a king bed fit.
Id rather see the break points on the frame and IF any new struts and supports have been added.
We love our Brinkley. Few complaints and at this price there should be none. Yes, they are doing so much that hasn’t ever been done before.

Arlington Texas
awesome trailer
Very nice. I like my Z3100 5th wheel better. But, very nice.
Where are batteries? What and how many A/C's? Type roof? Does it have the azdel siding? Very nice looking unit.
Great review- thanks
Pretty nice
Super expensive weekend camper. Some great features. not enough closet space for lengthy use.
Nice unit
Not a "french door refrigerator," but it is nice.
Nice looking! No sleeping other than the bedroom?
I remember Grand Design being really nice when they first came out now they have cracked frames. I wonder how Brinkley will be in a few years?
For the reason you mentioned, I think we'll buy one next year and not wait too long
Awesome trailer; but it’s what you would expect from Brinkley
How winter worthy are Brinkley trailers or 5th wheels? We miss slats under the mattress, probably getting mildew under the mattress soon?
How about truck campers?? Any thoughts on those?
Don't think that is what they are doing with the pricing. Just a ridiculous show price and more room to act like they are negotiating down the price in a ploy to get people to pay more. But not buying something that you can't park unless you buy a lot in a zoned area.
Why can I not find a Goodyear “Wrangler” trailer tire?
Needs a washer/dryer
I may have missed it but did you give the MSRP?
A little spendy but with closer look, might be worth the cost.
Sorry, not very impressive. First, the positives. The built-in floor safe is a really cool idea and impressive. Aesthetically pleasing exterior appearance. "The first Brinkley I have ever reviewed" 5:20 " "has a smaller stove oven then I am used to seeing on Brinkley units" ???
First Brinkley travel trailer.
Not sure if I'm the outlier, or if people are just overlooking the style because everyone is impressed by the bands build quality and other aspects. So $80k for a counter and a bunch of cabinets on wheels
I loved this rig until I saw it in person. Not worth the price it is way smaller than it look in pictures.
Why do the respective companies NOT give the bumper pulls the same glam as the fifth wheels? DO 3 steps really give them that much prestige? Way way way over priced. You used to be able to get a red wood 5th wheel for that price only 4 years ago.
I wish they would get away from the tacky “modern farmhouse” aesthetic. Farmhouse has a disingenuous air about it. The design equivalent to canned spaghetti.
An elevated mid-century or European inspired interior would be more appropriate for this upscale brand.
Won’t buy anything that has a lippert product included in it.
Much rather have a 5th wheel with all the upgrades and better towing.
There is absolutely NOTHING I don't love about Brinkley!
I absolutely love it. But the small oven/stove is a big issue for my husband, and for that price point.. We’re waiting for Brinkley to use composite on interior walls too, then it seems like it would be Perfect!

What's never been done before? Looks really basic and boring.
Meh pass, for that kind of money you shouldn't have to wish they did things.
Additional information about the structure would be nice, roof construction, materials used etc. Overall good video.
Very concise review. No wasted commentary. The only additional info I'd like to have had is the dump outlet location. And, I don't care for the water outlet inside the pass through. That should have it's own location from the outside perhaps with it's own door, or only in the wet bay.

Cargo capacity is too low
Yes and curious about 5600 lb axles with 11.000 # TT. Looks like same old under sized axle/suspension issues sooner or later to me
The design outside and in is very beautiful. Even though its built out nicely I do think its over priced. I also wonder if the living space is offered in a reverse layout. I'd want my living space on the opposite slide out. There should also be a bedroom slide at this price point
How would you place weight distribution on this unit with the big propane tank cover?
Nice to have the pantry cabnit pulled out easier to get to the back end. The bedroom has a lot of storage. Great ideal to put a safe underneath the bed with a place to sit. Great layout.
That's really nice. I love the windows. They only put the shades and screens on the windows that open.

Do you have any of the specs on what the solar / inverter options are? And battery storage?
It needs a washer/dryer prep. Otherwise it’s an awesome floor plan
We went to this show specifically to look at brinkley. The build quality is so much better that ALL of the others. What we didnt like is the copper/gold fixtures
Picked ours up about a month ago. 10k off msrp. Love the unit.. great review.
