Thank you Josh! I would love to see the desk/table completely disappear inside the cabinet when not in use. Also, I would love to see the ottoman with the pop up desk included in this floorplan. Really LOVE Brinkley's interior decor! Nobody does it better! ❤
Finally!!! I’ve been waiting for Brinkley to make a fifth or travel trailer 30 ft or under. We’ve been full-timing for over seven years in a 36 ft. fifth and are ready to downsize. This model fits. Only a few things I would like changed or optioned. One is a king size bed option as we are both tall and have two dogs. I think this could be easily done by making the nightstands skinnier. Put the living room tv not only on a swivel but up and down as well. Cover the table with the same material as the counter and have it pull out level to the counter. It could be made smaller lengthwise to retract all the way since there is the insert under the sink. The insert could then be made longer. Some form of electric heat for rainy cool days that won’t necessitate the furnace. It could be a fireplace or a built in heater or a heat pump/ac system. Keep both ac’s! Love the option to put in an all in one w/d. Have one now and love it. I didn’t see in the video if there are connections/wiring for satellite and wifi. We have auto leveling so not having will be learning curve but that’s what keeps us young😊. Love the outdoor steps that don’t bring dirt inside. Not readily getting to bathroom not a big issue as when we stop for a break we want to move around so use truck stops or rest areas. So happy for one slide. Thank you Josh for all you do to keep us informed!
For the little added extra cost, EVERY DAMN RV SHOULD BE MANDATED TO HAVE THE LIFETIME ROOF SEALANT, to spare customers from the leaking RV roof nightmares that most have to endure despite consciousness yearly roof maintenance 👍👍👍
I appreciate that you open all storage areas and use your backpack/cap/laptop as sizing reference guides. It helps me mentally visualize what I would actually use that space for.
Absolutely yes on the upgraded pin box! They make so much difference and on a Luxury Line like this I can't believe they haven't been doing it. And selfishly since I'm an RV transporter I would certainly love it because I've pulled Z models all over the country with that basic pin box
People need to get over stopping at various places to lower their Morryde type stairs just to access the bathroom. So many complaints about tow mode access. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a traditional tent camping family, I am used to using rest stops. Usually these are stairs safe but we need to be considerate. My dad was always in a hurry so any trip that required a gas station was accompanied by his urging to go now or hold it. It also involved chugging sodas so fast bubble came out your nose and to this day I will not drink them. Here’s the issue. We all travel with humongous Stanley or Yeti cups and then nature takes it course! It’s simple. If y’all don’t want to have to go stop with the water!
YES!!!! I love that you do this also!!! I always check to see if you have a video on anything we're looking at just because of that information! It's so important!
Brinkley did this right! The combined sofa and theater seats make it so you can occasionally entertain friends and family and that’s what’s missing in sub 30ft units. Thanks for giving us early access and great Video as always Josh!!!
Love the look of this Camper. It feels more like a home than a trailer. It is an awesome looking camper!! I also like the table idea. Such a neat new way to do a table .
Absolutely LOVE it! ❤❤❤. I don’t care that I don’t have access to the washroom, just open the slide. I would add closet space on each side of the bed. Love that there is no dinette ❤ . This is the FIRST under 30’ with two couches ❤. Prefer the extra couch then a dinette. Thanks for all your videos, we love your detail, your jokes and all your great information. This is exactly what we want when we retire in the next few years. Love Brinkley! When we see the weight we know it’s well built ❤. Lots of bang 🎉 for your buck. If people want washroom access then look at other Brinkley models, many do have access or open your slide …. Simple. Way to go Brinkley ❤❤❤.
In all seriousness though, Josh. You keep knocking these videos out of the park! I don’t comment on every single one (maybe I should, even if I have nothing important to say?); but I am subscribed, I do 👍every one; and I do really appreciate the time and effort you put into making a video. Also, thanks to your folks at Bish’s for supporting your content creation efforts.
wow.. thank you! I appreciate it! IF you're willing and just don't know what to say, then consider typing basically anything. Some folks literally just type "For the algorithm" -- it helps Even just "Thanks" adds up to the algobots lol :)
Great presentation. Love this unit and layout. 2 ac’s are a must, don’t mind it not being ducted. Love where the breaker/fuse panel is. No more lying on the floor to check fuses. Lots of great design features. Like this unit a lot. Thanks for sharing.
The lack of access to the bathroom is an issue. I think a lot of people want this as a traveler rather than a park for the season model as it would fit in a lot of the National and state parks. I wouldn't want to lose the rear table as a lot of back in sites have great views that you would be facing the wrong way with a couch but I understand why they did it.
See my comment about water..,that said, anyone who has tried to use a state park with two slides knows why this is ideal for a couples camper. We go to a lot of NASCAR races where we cannot extend our slides. A rig that functions without opposing slide is a great idea for those situations. And I think people who park for a season need to get a park model or destination trailer. We take our Brinkley camping. That means occasional pit toilets, fire wood smoke, no wifi, no internet, water bladder water, and generally being outside.
That’s why restaurants have menus. Those irritated me like nothing else. They look awful and waste so much space. Looking forward to them falling out of fashion.
Hey Josh I just wanted to let you know that it is real nice to see classy people such as yourself representing the rv industry. I find you extremely insightful and extremely entertaining, awesome job. Dan 🇨🇦
If I were designing the direction of opening the cabinet doors, I would place the handle on the outside, hinge on the inside. For example, if I am standing on the left side of the bed, I do not want to reach across the cabinet to reach the handle, and I do not want the door blocking my access to the cabinet. That being said, I think Brinkley has done a great job thinking through the details of design. Thank you for the tour, Josh!
With all of the windows bringing in such good light I would almost say get rid of that window below the TV and lower that TV so It's less of a neck wrecker. Thank you Josh for another wonderful video. You rock and don't stop what you're doing!
@@sashabenoit1518 yeah that pull out table would be a problem at that point. That's why I said just drop it down You don't really need that window plenty of light coming through
I'll say this for Bish's, they seem to do RV'ing right. My wife and I will be in the market for our first RV very soon. When I found out about Brinkleys one of the first dealers I called was Bish's in Idaho. (I'd seen Josh's videos before and Brinkley has a dealer locator, making it fairly easy to find dealers near me. I believe it was Mike at the ID location who, despite not having the 2900 in stock, suggested I go to a DIFFERENT dealer in Oregon to see what they look like. I've never had a dealer refer me to a different dealer to make the comparison. When I question his wisdom about referring me to the competition, he was so confident that they could beat anyone else's price he had no concerns about it! With that level of confidence, and with Josh's incredibly thorough reviews like this one (addressing road access to the bathroom), I'm 100% sure that when it comes time to buy I'll be doing it from Mike. This model looks incredibly close to what my wife and I will end up buying. I still need to see the 2900 but i really want to find the smallest fifth wheel to allow us to get into state and federal camp sites versus having to camp at KOA's and Thousand Trails sites. (I just like being as far into nature as I can get.) Once this is actually out in the wild, especially if it's at any RV shows this fall, we'll be crawling all over it. Thanks for the great vids, Josh. I've been watching them since I started looking at RV's more than a year ago. Despite your terrible puns ( ;)), you're one of the best at painting a complete picture of each RV you preview.
Wow. Man. Where to begin. Thank you first and foremost for the kind words and considering our team I know mike over there. He's a great guy. You have a good contact person there for sure. The puns really are terrible LOL!!
I’ve been waiting for a less than 30 ft Brinkley 5th wheel! I was giving them a number of years, so when my hubby & I retire we can get one. So excited!!! Just needs a fireplace and the stairs on the other side (door/camp side) so it’s more travel friendly - then it would be absolutely perfect! Love your videos! Thanks for all the hard work, Josh!
Hi Josh. My wife and I love your reviews. You take the time and go through the good stuff and the not so good. Please don't change a thing, we love how you open and show everything, that's what we want to see. Just keep providing some of the best reviews out there. Thank you for your dedication to the RV industry. Cheers from Canada.
I like that you open everything and showcase furniture setup options. Brinkley has really elevated the trailer world. You notice the other manufacturers are paying attention.
@@LetMeCook86 just move one of those round stools over to the sink and hop over.🤷🏻♂️ They demonstrate in the video, there's ample room to get thru in road mode.
Love watching you every morning . You have an amazing personality and just make watching RV videos fun. This is one of my fav small 5th wheel floor plans that a lot of manufacturers have done. I think cougar did it best by putting a small closet slide in the bedroom (not like this thing is trying to be light) and I love both sofas and like the idea of a table to eat at but have seen a couple rvs that the table could be flush to the cabinet so that you could stand at the counter and use a prep space or serving space. Last note… since it has pretty good storage and excellent pantry.. put in a fireplace under the tv. So happy they finally put an outside fridge in one of their RV’s👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Thanks Josh!
Wishing there was a fireplace! Dreaming of something under 30 ft with fireplace option. Love the living room setup for under 30 feet. There has to be a way to have one.
I think these things are built really well and thought out even better. Good job to Brinkley for identifying the downfalls of most RVs you see and fixing them. I really like the smaller ones they build because we do state park camping. Great job guys, and great videos!
Yes “Need” 2 AC in the southern state like Texas, just wish restroom was available in travel mood. But THANK YOU Brinkley for -No skylight- y’all nailed that🎉. Also Very glad to be able to have a combo washer/dryer that’s a plus+plus. *Yea, 1 sewer monster* I hope they go with the Best pen box available that is so important. Thank you Nerd for showing all space, and the information.
I love where the table is, as it extends the kitchen for when you need it but goes away when you don’t. It’s a good idea for the tv to be on a swivel for better coverage. For the size there’s pretty good storage, and I like that the bathroom doesn’t feel pokey. I’m 5’8, and I like to feel room around me, the older I get the more room I need 😂😂 I think it’s great that you go to see the prototype, I think it makes us feel we have some say in how it turns out. I love that you sit on things, climb on things, open things etc, it gives people a real view of how the camper is. It could save people a huge amount of time if they see a deal breaker before they drag themselves out to have a look. Bedside flat surfaces are very important to me, in fact, show me a flat surface (or even a drawer) and I’ll fill it 😂😂
Love, love, LOVE that under-30’ models are being built!! This floor plan is not for me, however (everyone’s different, right?). My no-thank-yous: - Main door severely impeded when hideabed is extended. - No bed slide - Main door at the edge of awning (I like em a bit more protected from the rain) - only travel spot for table leaf is under the sink? - road-mode access is terrible (I’m fortunate enough to be able to “get skinny” - but not that skinny) LOVE-ITs: - Upgraded pinbox. - Dinesk flexibility - Pretty much everything about the build quality - Camp-side window - heavy duty rear tow hitch (not for towing, but the entire family’s bikes!) - bigger, thicker, stronger. 💪 I have a 1-ton and ain’t afraid to use it.) Would love to see: - Under-30’ bumper-pull traveller (I have a rack on the truck for 2 fishing kayaks - not 5W compatible 😢) - a less cumbersome dinesk setup (I’d be ok with nice folding chairs) - we have literally never used the televisions in our current trailer. With iPads and laptops, never needed to. We get away to “get away”. I don’t know why a storage option is never offered in lieu of TVs. Or a convertible space that can be a cabinet if you don’t want a tv. Certainly don’t need tvs in every room. I’d be more inclined to use a TV mounted outside under the awning 😂 but I realize I am in the minority here.
I think as they continue to flesh out their lineup they'll have some things that'll fit more in line with your preferences For now I just love that they ARE growing their lineup
Another great video Josh. Love the detail and I appreciate that you take the time to open up all the doors and drawers. While the Dinesk is a liitle ackward, but given the size contraints it seems workable. The round stools may be a challenge. I appreciate the possibility of additional storage but they will take up more space than folding chairs. They are a toss-up. The mandatory 2nd Air is perfect because I can't see any upside to going without it no matter where you camp. In regard to the Pinbox...I would love the option to have the Gen-Y Goosneck installed by the factory so that you don't have to figure out what to do with the old one. And I appreciate Micha making an apperance to demonstate his jungle gym climbing skills.
I think it is important for people to remember this is an RV - not a home. And only 30ft of it total at that. In spaces like this things NEED to be multifunctional. And sometimes that means you work around one to get to another. Would I prefer to slide the table to get to the drawers? No. But this design gives me massively more storage and a dining space + more seating than any other builder has conceived before so I'm cool with it
@@JoshtheRVNerd I am always puzzled that some people don't recognize the design constraints that come with building a small rolling Hotel Room. If folks want the Dinesk to have its own seperate space that is easy, buy a Z2900 or a Z3100 and TaDa! ;-)
Absolutely love and appreciate your incredible inclusion to detail in your walkthroughs. 👏🏽👏🏽 pros and cons as you view them. Perfect and thanks for going the extra touch.
Josh, Thanks for all the time you spend opening cabinets and drawers, it truly helps us nerds to get a sense of what the interior is like. Keep it up. Also, second air should always be mandatory! Lol.
JOSH! YOU Have a home run on this travel trailer trailer. Everything on it is totally what We would buy. From the way the desk is situated and able to adjust , to the TV that swings around. I Love the layout and the new type of air conditioning that is so efficient and would definitely want the one in the bedroom. Most importantly is the drawers in the bathroom and it's large size and all the storage in the bedroom. You do such a wonderful job and I love your humor!!! Keep up with your awesome way of showing us the different travel trailers😊❤
Hey Nerd, l absolutely like you addressing the good and bad of an RV design. Love you opening everything up for viewing. On this model/floor plan I’d like to see it 1-3 feet longer to create a walkway when slide is in (might result in a tad bit more storage or hanging space). Thanks for listening.
This is Great!! I've really been wanting a Brinkley! And this is in the weight limits of my pick up! Not sure about the price but great quality, great for couples. This is perfect. Oh and the 5th wheel hitch thingy... That spring looks awesome!! Great job Josh! Great rig Brinkley! I can't wait to go RV shopping for full time in 2 years (going full-time in 3 years!) I'm so glad Brinkley made a 5th wheel that we can tow!! ❤
I did some digging on it.. it causes 30% less stress to be applied to the RV's frame Frame stress is literally THE cause for frame flex. So this is a great feature
Nerrrrrrrd! Yes, yes, now I can stop bugging you for this one...I'll just keep bugging you about the I series :) Local to Hershey and can't wait to see what it feels like...I'm definitely a feely kinda gal that has to get in and get a feel for it...The only change I wish could be made is a smaller fridge( maybe freezer drawer on the bottom) and make the pantry a bit wider...absolutely love the pull outs in the pantry, just wish they were wider...yes to the second air conditioner. Love the openness by the bed, no claustrophobia there...love the W/D possibility...This made my day, I've been checking every day for this video...
I like that you open all the storage areas. But you forgot to say whether or not the oven is turkey tested! 😂 thats a big deal for me. We really like that you do this. And thank you for the awesome walk through. 😊
OM-freaking-G!!!! 😍This model is REALLY close to what I'm looking for... I wish there was more storage in the bedroom, because I'd definitely need a combo washer/dryer. Maybe they should swap the drawers and the hanging space; that way, you don't lose the drawers. With all that space in the kitchen, a portable dishwasher would work just fine. That "dinesk" (love that word... Webster should add it), is perfect. It's really allows that space to be whatever you need it for. So many things I love about this RV, it's hard to call out any deal-breakers. Brinkley really challenges the competition, which is why they're my #1 brand, followed by Jayco. Hubby says it's my choice and so far, they're winning. Thanks for sharing this model! 😎
Brinkley has done it again and knocked it out of the park. Awesome floor-plan. The only thing I would add or change would be to store the kitchen table leaf above the refrigerator or perhaps put a storage slot in the pull-out trashcan drawer and then add a dishwasher below the sink. A dishwasher is much more sanitary and efficient than handwashing.😎 Have a convection Microwave option. Add maximum solar capability with lithium batteries and at least a minimum 2000k inverter. Also add a 4k watt inverter generator and power management equipment panels. Make stacking washer/dryer available from the factory or at least a combo with hanging above. Soft-close toilet lid. Picnic table in rear storage and I'll add my own Blackstone griddle. the second AC in a must. I live in Florida. Do all that and send me the bill. I'M SOLD! Hey Josh, keep up the great work you're doing and tell your bosses, we're still waiting on a Bish's location in Florida. At the next Tampa RV Show, come down and setup permanent camp. 😎
awesome! Good to know. Because it seriously takes a LOT of extra time. I spent about 3hrs JUST capturing footage of this and that's about as fast as I've ever gone on a brinkley
Love this! We are looking for a new RV and have been waiting for Brinkey to come under 30 feet. Pros: AC standed in the bedroom love the sofa The table is great as we both work at times LOVE THE LOOK Keep the hitch, this is great. Cons: Slide - For us personally could you do a smaller pantry (narrow) then that might give you room to go to the loo. (think airstream on the 25FT ones) or Smaller fridge ---- As you have the outside fridge! Sofa bed - yes I said it was a pro - the con is that it blocks the door. Can you switch the recliners and sofa bed and maybe not recliners just nice chairs to read. Options: Twin beds - we need to see more of this! TV's - Can you make this an option and is there a place to plug in Starlink / mobile WIFI Now we just need to see something in the 27 foot range in a TT Love that it was not a bunk and works for those that are couples and need to sleep an extra person.
Second AC from factory is a plus. I don't like the stools, my back says I need something with a back. I do like the extra footage that you provide. All in all this looks pretty cool. Thanks
Hey and thanks for that preview Josh. They finally did it! You wanted comments and here are ours. 1. King bed or twin beds. 2. Shorter 12V outdoor fridge. Mount the new smaller fridge higher so that the top of it is the same height as it currently is. Add an interior access panel below it and there is now room for a litter box. Find there is always room for a dog but hardly ever a place for cat accessories. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Love that there isn’t a dinette! And the layout. Shower is a great size for my husband. Would like a fireplace but it’s not a dealbreaker. Would like a king bed though. My husband is bigger and we have a dog that likes to be bigger than she actually is when she sleeps. 😅 Would like to see them have an under 30 travel trailer.
The dining option "dinesk" is fantastic. I've always wanted a bar with stools that didn't take up so much room. This is closer than most. Love it. It is much more useful for a camper occupied mainly by two people. I love how you open everything to show how it looks and even more; show how the RV looks closed in travel mode. Being able to access things in travel mode is extremely important to us and you always make us happy by showing it! Unfortunately....as I was thinking this was one of my fav's I've seen so far, not being able to access the bathroom and bedroom in travel is a huge NO!.. Love your videos! Keep on posting!
Regarless of the tilt the TV is to high. I am sitting facing my TV and if I look over it I get a similar experience as the TV that is to high. It is not comfortable. Televator? Change the table leg to a drop down when you slide the table out. That gets it out of the way during noremal use. How about making the door into the bedroom a pocket door? A small seat in the shower? Glad there is not skylight in the shower but why the hole? It may not penetrate the roof but aren't you loosing insulation? Excellent job including what appears to be CPAP. Love the under bed treatment. I like the way they did the window in the hall by the bathroom as well as in the entry door. Excellent idea with the lights under the trailer. Yes I like the pin box and I would like a generator factory installed. I'm an off grid camper and would love to test one of these for the company. Solar is a must and I would go with 40lb propane tanks. I like the step, nice touch. How about anti lock brakes?. They do an excellent job with the ladder, nice to have something to grab onto while climbing up ro down. Nice size awning. Rear storage is nice. I hope this is helpful because I really like this unit.
This one looks great and Brinkley has added many clever features like the sliding table and extended kitchen counter tops. I would have really debated this one over the z2900 had it been available two months ago, but we're 100% pleased with the z2900 we purchased. Great job again on other realistic options, Brinkely.
I’ve been searching for your post ,, we saw the Z2900 the other day and fell in love!! We would Love to hear how / why you love it and what you don’t love about it. We gave it an A , prior to even purchasing! Please tell us what you would change !! We might need a heavier duty truck so we want to be 100 % this is the one. Thank you , and we are already envious ! Haha
@@geminifox475 I don’t think we would change a thing. We are ok with the smaller bedroom space, as we wanted to get the smallest trailer we could. The 2900 is an ideal size for us. We tow this with a Ford F-350 7.3L and that offers more power than we need. We have now been in the Brinkley for over 60 days and not one thing has failed. Good luck with your search.
Thank you for showing the storage areas. I'd like the pull bar to have a folding leg that can hide inside the top. The hidden trunk space - extra meds, extra clothes, books. Yes I like the pin box.
The windows on both ends of the sofa should be taller so that they can low enough to look out comfortably while seated. But otherwise, this is dang near “the” best all around RV we have ever seen.
And, they should add a port or other cable passage in the junk-in-the-truck to allow for a ladder mounted starlink RJ45 cable to enter the compartment. This is where I plug in my starlink router on our 3110. Sorry for all the responses, lol!
Thanks for the early access and a great review. I really like the length and looks of the RV . Like always, I want better cup holders on the theater seat and I would love to see the TV on a televator like Rockwood does. I personally do not like the dinette setup. I think the chairs would be uncomfortable and bother my back. Maybe a bar set up would be better. I would rather have the 2nd AC from the factory, especially in hotter climates.Im hoping Brinkley offers several options in this length, and thanks again for a great review.
Thanks for opening the cabinets to show the storage. I would move the table towards the sink while I am cooking, giving me more prep space. Come time to eat slide it towards the door and use the back counter as kind of a buffet space. Hidden storage in the bedroom looks like it could accommodate several firearms. Putting a lock on it would make it great. Again, thank you for the video coverage. I am really impressed with what they have done with the space available.
To me everything in this RV is absolutely perfect the only thing that I would personally change is I would toss the second couch and put an adjustable height desk so you can do stand-up desk or sit down and instead of having the extender table where it's at have it attached to the desk. I feel like a large majority of people who would want this type of setup would be as a couples camper and that second couch is completely unnecessary. But having it as an option would be ideal for those who are looking to have a little bit more space to sit and not so much work space. A picture of this as a work RV couples camper.
Might be the best floorplan I've seen less than 35' long! I'm not a machinist but I feel like there's a way to secure the extra table leaf to the outside legs of the "Dinesk" so it doesn't take up the space under the sink. Thanks for the Video!
They should swap placement of the kitchen and sofa area for better views on camp side. Love all of the storage. Tv should be able to pivot down to be eye level while sitting in recliners. The second ac is a great addition from the factory.
While not impossible without really changing everything else up you'd have to sacrifice more than half of the kitchen cabinet capacity to do that. The entry door is the problem - it prevents you from just easily "flipping" a layout
Yes on the 2nd AC. Great looking unit. Josh we love how you show the cabinets/draws open versus opening every drawer on camera. I'm having a hard time finding something I don't like about this unit. Maybe the bathroom access in road mode. There is so much storage that you may be able to remove the pantry closet and make the slide smaller for better road access?? Just a thought... We do use our bathroom while traveling.
Only thing i would like to see in the Brinkley RV 2670 and 2900 is a King bed option. Never understood a 110V outdoor fridge so the 12V fridge is a game changer! Great work Brinkley and as always great work Josh.
Love the pin box with the coil spring And shock absorber! Does the tandem axle suspension have shock absorbers? If not, WHY NOT Brinkley? Love the 12v outdoor fridge...how about a pull out sink in that space under the fridge? This unit just went to the top of my list, even with the restricted road mode. Love Brinkley construction and quality fit and finish. Thanks Josh!
@@JoshtheRVNerd I've stated this before and I'll keep shouting it from my soapbox. All trailers should have shock absorbers. The trailer would last longer by eliminating most of the "earthquake" that happens going down the road. Well worth the extra initial cost in the long run.
One of the best things about your videos is that you open everything. I would greatly miss it if you stopped.
Roger. TY Karen!
Totally agree
I LOVE that he opens everything
100% agree!!!
Thank you Josh! I would love to see the desk/table completely disappear inside the cabinet when not in use. Also, I would love to see the ottoman with the pop up desk included in this floorplan. Really LOVE Brinkley's interior decor! Nobody does it better! ❤
Not a bad idea at all! I like that! ❤
Yes give it some kind of fold down legs so it can mostly disappear and you can easily get into all the drawers when not in use.
Exactly! It would irritate the heck out of me to have to move that thing back and forth to get into the drawers. @@jojo526
ooh.. I do kinda like that idea.
Table disappears inside cabinet, pops out and up to make it level with the counter top, make the stools a little higher to accommodate extra height.
Couple long bed requests. Ty for the feedback
Heat pump ACs?
@@chrislaf89 Sorry. I may have used the wrong terminology. We have two ACs that also provide heat. That’s what I meant.
@@leeannbauer3197 All good. I'm a huge fan of the idea of using heat pumps in RVs, because they're quite power efficient.
@@chrislaf89But heat pumps need supplemental heat strips when temps hit the 30’s for those cold weather campers.
Yup and let's heat tape the water lines so in the event it drops to 25 below 0
Not to mention the 4 inch walls, with insulation packed thru out.
I totally agree!!
Finally an outside 12V fridge. Good job Brinkley
Thank you!!
I know, right?
I appreciate that you open all storage areas and use your backpack/cap/laptop as sizing reference guides. It helps me mentally visualize what I would actually use that space for.
I actually didnt think to use my hat as a size reference but that's perfect.. may have to keep it with me!

How does a fella get in to hauling RV s
Great feedback. Ty
especially powerful feedback from a fella in your line of work

I always look for your videos because you do go the extra mile to show us the rv in all its glory. Thank you for your diligence
Wow, thank you! I appreciate it :)
I appreciate that you always show them when the slides in.
awesome glad it helps!
Thanks for the kind words!
My pleasure! TY for watching!
I love the Couch and Theater seats being in that configuration to see each other while visiting 🙂
@@BrinkleyRV will this model be at the Hershey PA show? We bought tickets hoping to see this specific model.
Way to go getting the first footage of this Brinkley! Thank you Josh!
Hope you enjoy it!
I like that it comes with the second air conditioner. I have it in my current travel trailer and I use it all the time.
I've never seen someone REGRET having a 2nd air
But I've seen people regret NOT having them
Love the look of this Camper. It feels more like a home than a trailer. It is an awesome looking camper!! I also like the table idea. Such a neat new way to do a table .
We agree!
Awesome! TY Lisa! SO glad you like it :)
This fifth wheel is perfect!! This one will be on our must have list!! Thanks Josh 👍🏻✌🏻👏🏻
Thanks for considering Brinkley RV and our new 2670, we love to hear it!
You bet!
If you haven’t already, go see the Z2900 ,, it’s so flipping nice
In all seriousness though, Josh. You keep knocking these videos out of the park!
I don’t comment on every single one (maybe I should, even if I have nothing important to say?); but I am subscribed, I do 👍every one; and I do really appreciate the time and effort you put into making a video. Also, thanks to your folks at Bish’s for supporting your content creation efforts.
wow.. thank you! I appreciate it!
IF you're willing and just don't know what to say, then consider typing basically anything. Some folks literally just type "For the algorithm" -- it helps
Even just "Thanks" adds up to the algobots lol :)
Totally agree!!!!!!!
I agree, Josh is the best RV reviewer bar none. His knowledge and attention to detail are truly outstanding.
Thanks Nerd for all the bonus coverage! Nobody does reviews as well as you!
man TY for this :)
He's right. 😊
Great presentation. Love this unit and layout. 2 ac’s are a must, don’t mind it not being ducted. Love where the breaker/fuse panel is. No more lying on the floor to check fuses. Lots of great design features. Like this unit a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I love that colors and that there is no island!!! Perfect size for a retired couple.
I agree! TY for watching :)
I could see them absolutely making a trailer version of this layout at some point actually
Thanks for the feedback!
Yep, no bathroom access in Road Mode makes it a no-go for us.
What??? No bathroom in road mode? Ugh! And no fireplace? ☹ But it is beautiful.
Really nice rig. Wish they had a fireplace. Love that on cool mornings while camping
But… ya can’t really use the space heater function of that without either being hooked up to electrical or a serious Li-Ion battery upgrade. 😊
That’s why restaurants have menus. Those irritated me like nothing else. They look awful and waste so much space. Looking forward to them falling out of fashion.
That would be cool but where would you place it in this layout?
@@JoshtheRVNerd yep. That’s the only thing. Love the rig though. Great video. We love your channel.
The Z2900 has the fireplace
Awesome residential floorplan that offers far more comfortable seating and a larger living area without a 100 year old diner booth dinette👍👍👍
Hell yeah🎉
Hey Josh I just wanted to let you know that it is real nice to see classy people such as yourself representing the rv industry. I find you extremely insightful and extremely entertaining, awesome job. Dan 🇨🇦
Wow ty Dan!
My pleasure!
Really appreciate the details that you show. You actually touch on things that we are looking for. Thank you!
With all of the windows bringing in such good light I would almost say get rid of that window below the TV and lower that TV so It's less of a neck wrecker. Thank you Josh for another wonderful video. You rock and don't stop what you're doing!
interesting idea.. ty
Or put it on a Televator.
I could see mounting that tv on a drop down mount
@@sashabenoit1518I thought the same, but may make that dinesk functionality a bit tricky.
@@sashabenoit1518 yeah that pull out table would be a problem at that point. That's why I said just drop it down You don't really need that window plenty of light coming through
I appreciate that you open up all the cabinets, Josh! Keep doing it, please! Thank you!!
You got it!
Thank you first and foremost for the kind words and considering our team
I know mike over there.
Love the fireplace idea but just not sure how they'd pull it off here. SOmething would likely need to change a bit
Excellent video tour of this new Brinkley! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Josh. My wife and I love your reviews. You take the time and go through the good stuff and the not so good. Please don't change a thing, we love how you open and show everything, that's what we want to see. Just keep providing some of the best reviews out there. Thank you for your dedication to the RV industry. Cheers from Canada.
You got it! TY Glenn :)
I think Micah and the crew NAILED IT with this one. Love it!
Great screen name btw
thank you!
I like that you open everything and showcase furniture setup options. Brinkley has really elevated the trailer world. You notice the other manufacturers are paying attention.
oh they definitely are. I see brinkley's influence all over the place
@@LetMeCook86 just move one of those round stools over to the sink and hop over.🤷🏻♂️ They demonstrate in the video, there's ample room to get thru in road mode.
I really like this one . Thank you for opening the cabinets . Awesome
TY for this. It takes a LOT of extra time
Love watching you every morning .
You bet. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the great feedback!
I am loving Brinkley!!!!! It's about time quality is out into RVs instead of the cheapest material sold at a luxury price. Good job Brinkley
Well said!
Thank you!
Like it that you show open cabinets & drawers and road mode views.
good to know. TY so much!
Wishing there was a fireplace! Dreaming of something under 30 ft with fireplace option. Love the living room setup for under 30 feet. There has to be a way to have one.
Other builders with similar layouts often do have them. The dining made it problematic
I think these things are built really well and thought out even better. Good job to Brinkley for identifying the downfalls of most RVs you see and fixing them. I really like the smaller ones they build because we do state park camping. Great job guys, and great videos!
ALWAYS show the good, the bad, and the Josh. They can always fast forward if there is something they don’t care about.
Roger that. Will do
I LOVE this floor plan. Great way to manage the space. Thank you for showing everything like you do. Please never change.
wow TY Kim :)
You got it Jeff! TY
I love where the table is, as it extends the kitchen for when you need it but goes away when you don’t.
It’s a good idea for the tv to be on a swivel for better coverage.
For the size there’s pretty good storage, and I like that the bathroom doesn’t feel pokey. I’m 5’8, and I like to feel room around me, the older I get the more room I need 😂😂
I think it’s great that you go to see the prototype, I think it makes us feel we have some say in how it turns out.
My no-thank-yous:
- Main door severely impeded when hideabed is extended.
- No bed slide
- Main door at the edge of awning (I like em a bit more protected from the rain)
- only travel spot for table leaf is under the sink?
- road-mode access is terrible (I’m fortunate enough to be able to “get skinny” - but not that skinny)
LOVE-ITs:
- Upgraded pinbox.
- Dinesk flexibility
- Pretty much everything about the build quality
- Camp-side window
- heavy duty rear tow hitch (not for towing, but the entire family’s bikes!)
- bigger, thicker, stronger. 💪 I have a 1-ton and ain’t afraid to use it.)
Would love to see:
- Under-30’ bumper-pull traveller (I have a rack on the truck for 2 fishing kayaks - not 5W compatible 😢)
- a less cumbersome dinesk setup (I’d be ok with nice folding chairs)
- we have literally never used the televisions in our current trailer.
I think as they continue to flesh out their lineup they'll have some things that'll fit more in line with your preferences
For now I just love that they ARE growing their lineup
@@JoshtheRVNerdabsolutely! Always excited to see new Brinkley. Anxiously waiting for ‘the one’!
@@JoshtheRVNerdand for the record… love the opening of stuff. Time well spent. Sets you apart from other channels!
Thank you, Josh for all your hard work once again!
my pleasure!
If folks want the Dinesk to have its own seperate space that is easy, buy a Z2900 or a Z3100 and TaDa! ;-)
I love this one this is very spacious it's perfect ❤

I agree that bathroom access while traveling is a big issue
Josh,
Thanks for all the time you spend opening cabinets and drawers, it truly helps us nerds to get a sense of what the interior is like. Keep it up. Also, second air should always be mandatory! Lol.
Seems like more and more brands are adopting standard second air. Give some credit to eagle for being the first in this class to do it
Thanks for including the extra bonus split-screen footage 👍

TY Patricia! Glad you like it!
Bedroom A/C is standard btw. I can't remember if I mentioned that
Love that it is under 30’
Hey Nerd, l absolutely like you addressing the good and bad of an RV design. Love you opening everything up for viewing. On this model/floor plan I’d like to see it 1-3 feet longer to create a walkway when slide is in (might result in a tad bit more storage or hanging space). Thanks for listening.
You bet! TY Chris
If you don't mind about 32ft total this one does what you're seeking! ua-cam.com/video/lY6BSfgPSuQ/v-deo.html
I did some digging on it.. it causes 30% less stress to be applied to the RV's frame
Frame stress is literally THE cause for frame flex. So this is a great feature
@@JoshtheRVNerd that's fantastic!!

Love the openness by the bed, no claustrophobia there...love the W/D possibility...This made my day, I've been checking every day for this video...

lol gobble gobble. Roger that :)
I love the 2nd air in the bedroom,I sleep hot so it's a must have. Thànks Josh for how you show the RV's and sharing your knowledge.
My pleasure!
My pleasure! Glad you like it
If Webster starts adding my Nerdisms.. then lookout world... lol
It's not a brinkley, but a great floor plan is KZ D240RKD
Check is in the mail right? :)
I would love for them to add a closet slide out in the bedroom… then the other closet could accommodate a stacked washer/dryer.
It could make sense
Really lime this as a couples rig. And for the record, I appreciate the extra footage you show with the dual screen!
awesome! Good to know. Because it seriously takes a LOT of extra time. I spent about 3hrs JUST capturing footage of this and that's about as fast as I've ever gone on a brinkley
We boondock or dry camp at least half the time(in our fifth year of full time) We would like an option for a fantastic fan
Love this! We are looking for a new RV and have been waiting for Brinkey to come under 30 feet.
Pros: AC standed in the bedroom
love the sofa
The table is great as we both work at times
LOVE THE LOOK
Keep the hitch, this is great.
Cons: Slide - For us personally could you do a smaller pantry (narrow) then that might give you room to go to the loo. (think airstream on the 25FT ones) or
Smaller fridge ---- As you have the outside fridge!
Sofa bed - yes I said it was a pro - the con is that it blocks the door. Can you switch the recliners and sofa bed and maybe not recliners just nice chairs to read.
Options: Twin beds - we need to see more of this!
TV's - Can you make this an option and is there a place to plug in Starlink / mobile WIFI
Now we just need to see something in the 27 foot range in a TT
Love that it was not a bunk and works for those that are couples and need to sleep an extra person.
I see a lot of requests for twins but when mfgs do it I see so few actual sales follow it
So mfgs just don’t do them
Second AC from factory is a plus. I don't like the stools, my back says I need something with a back. I do like the extra footage that you provide. All in all this looks pretty cool. Thanks
TY Jack. If the only thing someone needed was a different set of chairs, then I'm sure we could work something out.
Thanks for the tips!
I could see it happening in time!
I really like it as well. You have to move it and perhaps that would be annoying but I think I could deal with it
Regarless of the tilt the TV is to high. I hope this is helpful because I really like this unit.
all feedback is good
For a couple, this seems like a perfect 5th wheel RV. This would be number one on my list once the kids are gone. Thanks for a great video!
You bet!
This one looks great and Brinkley has added many clever features like the sliding table and extended kitchen counter tops. I would have really debated this one over the z2900 had it been available two months ago, but we're 100% pleased with the z2900 we purchased. Great job again on other realistic options, Brinkely.
Great choice on that 2900!
@@kebob2150 thank you , good luck , and enjoy
Thank you for showing the storage areas. I'd like the pull bar to have a folding leg that can hide inside the top.
The hidden trunk space - extra meds, extra clothes, books. Yes I like the pin box.
The windows on both ends of the sofa should be taller so that they can low enough to look out comfortably while seated. But otherwise, this is dang near “the” best all around RV we have ever seen.
I really enjoy your extra info. It helps when doing research on different models and makers.
my pleasure!
Love it. Fabulous size. Wish the inside stairs were on passenger side.
I'll be curious to see what other layouts they may have in the works to accomplish that
Great job Micah...reminds us of the GD260RD we had before going to Brinkley. Well engineered with amazing upgrades...Love our 3100Z...DOn & Shirley
Yeah it’s like if that 260rd evolved in a way
Finally, an exterior fridge only!!!! I don't want the kitchen, I want to keep the barley pop chilled for arrival!❤
I wish my 3110 had this new ladder. I can tell you I weight test the standard ladder every use, 😂.
And, they should add a port or other cable passage in the junk-in-the-truck to allow for a ladder mounted starlink RJ45 cable to enter the compartment. This is where I plug in my starlink router on our 3110. Sorry for all the responses, lol!
Right?!
I like it. I like that there is not a huge dinette or table in it, instead a smart solution for extra use in the kitchen or sitting at.
awesome ty!
I hope to see a few more this size as well
Love how you open it all up for us!!! You make the best video tours❤
Glad you like them!
Nice job nerd! I really like the way they did the bed side cabinets. They should do that with the Z Airs too.
That would be cool!
Love hearing how you could utilize the sliding table! Thanks for the feedback!
Our pleasure!
A dishwasher option would be nice
We would add it underneath the sink if the drainage worked. We took out some drawers in our class A to add a dishwasher.
Absolutely LOVE the second AC (very quality AC) standard!
The table should have fold up legs so you can use those drawers easier.
Love the idea
To me everything in this RV is absolutely perfect the only thing that I would personally change is I would toss the second couch and put an adjustable height desk so you can do stand-up desk or sit down and instead of having the extender table where it's at have it attached to the desk. I feel like a large majority of people who would want this type of setup would be as a couples camper and that second couch is completely unnecessary. But having it as an option would be ideal for those who are looking to have a little bit more space to sit and not so much work space. A picture of this as a work RV couples camper.
Ooh that’s a cool idea..
Almost! Love the floor plan....... except............ no bathroom access with the slide closed
Thankfully you could just crack that slide a touch but yeah
Might be the best floorplan I've seen less than 35' long! I'm not a machinist but I feel like there's a way to secure the extra table leaf to the outside legs of the "Dinesk" so it doesn't take up the space under the sink. Thanks for the Video!
Thanks for the suggestion, we will look into that!
I’d probably slide it in the closet or something myself. Under the sofa perhaps
Would like to use the Reese Goose Box. OK’d to use by the manufacturer. Keep the hydraulic leveling. Loose outside speakers.
We'd have to look into it further but this is a Lippert chassis which typically allows for the Reese Goose Box to be used..
Thank you for your attention to detail, Josh!! We haven't signed on the dotted line on the Reflection yet, so I had to give this a look!
You are so welcome!
Thanks for commenting! You can always take the slide out a touch to give you access to the bathroom when traveling.
As long as the RV is at least "eyeball level" cracking that slide for road mode quick access is fine
I love love this but do really need access to the bathroom while traveling
Try this one m.ua-cam.com/video/TpHM3NJBNhU/v-deo.html
Only thing i would like to see in the Brinkley RV 2670 and 2900 is a King bed option. Never understood a 110V outdoor fridge so the 12V fridge is a game changer! Great work Brinkley and as always great work Josh.
110 fridge was almost exclusively based on cost and supply limits
Love the pin box with the coil spring And shock absorber! Does the tandem axle suspension have shock absorbers? If not, WHY NOT Brinkley? Love the 12v outdoor fridge...how about a pull out sink in that space under the fridge? This unit just went to the top of my list, even with the restricted road mode. Love Brinkley construction and quality fit and finish. Thanks Josh!
It has a road armor package but not shocks
@@JoshtheRVNerd I've stated this before and I'll keep shouting it from my soapbox. All trailers should have shock absorbers. The trailer would last longer by eliminating most of the "earthquake" that happens going down the road. Well worth the extra initial cost in the long run.
Great info! Thanks for taking time to open and show all spaces. Really appreciate the detailed tour.
You're welcome! Glad you like the tour.
