At 1-minute & 12 seconds, your middle finger is on the cool fan relay which resides from the bottom of the relay box, in the middle row,, 2nd relay up. What I know for sure is, on my 2007 pontiac G5, it was missing that relay! It had a relay in the bottom right, where your pointer finger is, & another relay where you have a empty hole! Basically, if you ground the top left pin of the relay that he is touching with his middle finger, simply ground it, & the fan comes on!!!!! When you pull that relay, it is the only one that has 5 pins! My 2007 G5 uses the relay he is touching with his pointer finger & the EMPTY RELAY HOLE OFF TO THE RIGHT! FOR ANYONE WHO HAS COOLING FAN ISSUES, TRY GROUNDING THE TOP LEFT PIN OF THE RELAY SOCKET THAT from the bottom of the fuse box, the middle row,, 2nd relay up, simply ground the top left pin but, keep in mind that mine uses a relay that he is missing to the right, above his pink fuse.
Hear a clocking from the dish when I got my 2009 colbolt but a/c came on after the click sounds from the dash ! Didn't think what the click was ! After changing over to heater a few times ! Seems no cool air comeing out not ingageing Freon or doors or stuck on blender! No cool air comeing out of vents it was working fine then nothing! It's not low on refrigerated and I replaced a/c relay and fuse in the box ! What is it ! Blender doors and where are they
Having an issue with my Cobalt where the cooler fan continues to run when the relay is pulled and key is off. I think moisture got in the fuse panel cause I'm seeing corrosion on multiple fuses. My car also recently died and won't start now. Tried replacing the battery, nothing. When it died I smelled burning wires, so I shut it off and after that it wouldn't turn over again. Any advice? 😅
mine has refridgerante .....tried the swap trick and nothing. a/c occasionally kicks on but has gotten to the point it is very rare. I am thinking possibly the low charge sensor but I can't reach the damn thing lol

The ac is working put when I crank it I hear a fast suction noise in the dash and the air stops blowing (it will blow out the little defroster but not the vents) then when I turn it off I hear a faint sound of something falling. ITS like a peice of cardboard sounding that is being sucked with the air flow the failing when I turn car off. Any suggestions where I could look.

My niece has a 2010 Cobalt and it won't blow the fan quit working. At first she was having to blow out something underneath the hood and suck it out down by where the exhaust is? And she was coming up a hill and heard some noise and it quit working. If you could help I would really appreciate it

Yes. Check all your sensors from the box underneath the hood to right. Pull one out if it looks burnt or dark around the end of sensor then change them for new ones. That should work.
What fuse keeps burning? Sounds to me that, there is a short somewhere! You need to follow the wiring of the fuse that keeps burning, until you find the short! It helps to have a multimeter! Keep following the wire untill you see a burnt section & as your following the wire, test for power but, anywhere you poke, use liquid electrical tape or spray electrical tape, they sell both at Lowe's within the electrical depth! Obvious if I knew what circuit that was blowing, maybe I could better assist? Trace the wire untill you find the problem!!!
Good looking out my guy.. got any idea on why my coolant temp runs all the way to 250 and enters cool down mode? There’s coolant in it and it runs low if the heat is blasting but in standstill traffic, I have to turn the car off.. changed thermostat, thinking it may be the water pump??
Do the radiator fan(s) kick on? When it is overheating, are both upper and lower radiator hoses hot? Could there be air in the cooling system from the thermostat replacement?
@@LehewTech on my cobalt my fans don't kick in at all. When I'm driving down main streets it goes up to 250 . But when I'm driving down the freeway it cools down and stays at 187 to 190. What can I check because my fan isn't working
@@ricardoperez6226 Check those two relays and the two fuses that he pointed out in the video. If the fuses or relays are bad then the fan will not work the way it is supposed to. If the fuses/relays are good, then there is a good possibility that your fan needs to be replaced.

MY AC DOES NOT WORK SO, I CANNOT CHECK TO SEE IF THE FAN RUNS THEN BUT, EVERY FUSE BOX IS DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON THE YEAR BUT, MY FUSE BOX USES THE SMALL RELAYS LIKE IN THIS VIDEO BUT, I AM MISSING ONE & DONT KNOW WHAT RELAY TO INSERT. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE UNDERHOOD FUSE BOX, THE MIDDLE RELAY, ABOVE THAT IS A BOLT, THEN A YELLOW 20AMP FUSE, THEN THE "cool fan" relay is above that. In this video, it is a 2752...anyways, mine is a 5 pin on that relay only. I run a wire from the top left pin of that relay socket, & run it inside the car, connect to a 2 way toggle(just 2 pins ! One in, & one out) the most basic toggle switch...then the second pin on the toggle switch, connect that second pin if the toggle switch to ground! Run a wire from the toggle to anything metal that is grounded & when u flip the toggle switch, the fan will come on! Assuming your fan is okay.
The AC relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. Switch them out and try turning your car on. If it doesn't start then you know that relay is dead and you can go buy the replacement.
Have you checked your freon level? And is the check engine light on? If the freon is good and the cel is not illuminated then it may be time to see if the ac clutch is receiving power. If it is receiving power but not engaging, then you need a new ac clutch (best to replace the entire compressor assembly)
I had the codes pulled it said so nothing about the camshaft position sensor it was at the mechanic yesterday that checked the freon level and suggested I change the compressor

I checked the fuses under the hood and inside on the inside of the console fuses are good

When you put on the gas it runs just a little bit but it does not blow like it used to and I checked all the fuses please help I appreciate you.

Ac clutch works fans spin has Freon but blows hot air what can be the issue
Your a/c compressor or the gas that cool the air or some Electronic module that makes the air cooler

Mine does the same. For some reason my car cools down when I'm in the freeway.

When you switch the ac fuse and the fuel pump fuse, it can stay like that for good?
I think he meant that was an easy test to see if the relay was good it should not matter as they are the same

@@LehewTech I got a used compressor just seems like a pain to drain the system to replace the compressor but who knows if it is good been overcharged

I just had someone look at my G5 and they want $600 to change my compressor
