So the front part we’re the copper I think it is? We’re the electricity goes threw do you wrap the front part with copper wire or do you buy the piece?
It has been a long time since I have ran a neo. I believe in the scale 1/4 mile my best pass was around an .820, however I can’t remember what that equates to in mph most likely somewhere around 50-55mph if I had to make a guess. This was with a hardbody and total weight of 127g. That I do remember lol
chas290620 there isn’t necessarily an instruction that comes with these, however there is a small build guide @ www.srcchassis.com under the build tab, as well as the reasoning behind this two part video to explain how to build one as well.
I think your tip is too small. It can't hold enough heat to do the job quickly without all that excess flux. A larger broader tip will hold more heat and make your job easter. What watt soldering iron are you using?
I am using a Hakko 888D it has the chisel tip, I may have to see if they offer a wider version. Thank you for the input! 👍 I am under my other account name didn’t realize lol
The site should be back up soon, I get too involved with my actual work that my site suffers neglect unfortunately. I plan to have it back up and running ASAP.
Sorry for the slow reply, but I do still sell them, I am working on getting my site back up and going. I have a bad habit of jumping from hobby to hobby and with real work getting in the way I tend to slack off on keeping my website going. However I am hoping to do more videos and get back into actually slot racing again instead of just strictly building cars.
Videos are very helpful - Thank you!
Could you tell me where to find that jig. Ive had no luck at all finding it
Thx for info! Where can I get a jig like yours?

When soldering the chassis to the body use heat sinks I.e alligator clips and you won't melt your body
I like, very good !

Where’s part 3 I wanna see it run
You're way to cold on your heat. You don't need to scrub the solder into the joint it should flow and be smooth.
I have a few questions do you have a Facebook page
REEPARKILL ER yes I do it is just SRC Chassis
Thanks
what size pin holes tubes
I believe the tubing I use is 1/16”
