Thanks for another live video show for us. Greatly appreciated!!!!! Harvest is going well, hopefully your overall crop production will be strong this year. You need a good harvest year. You have my prayers!!!!!!! Good to see all of you in the harvest mode. Blue Pete looks good sitting in the field. Hey Nick, close the hopper gates-ha!!!!!!! Oh well you can fix it with a shovel. Thanks for everything Welkers. You all take care. With my prayers. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Saw you in Shelby today. In town visiting family.. Headed back to North Carolina tomorrow. One hot day today 101 degrees... Wheat should dry out pretty quick with these temps.
Great to see you begin harvest, not all people realise that farming is a gamble most of the time. Each farmer put a whole lot of money, time & effort into their farm & are hoping to make enough profit to pay the bills & keep their families fed, clothed & sheltered, just like everyone else. Here's hoping for a bountiful harvest to make up for the last few years. 😀
Missed the live. Ouch, 2.30 hrs! Well, i like the harvest footage. Think m gona watch in the weekend when i"ve more time. 😀 A short is short, but this is very long. Wish you a blessed harvest. See you!
On the combine talk, any second hand something is needing maintenance. People that want to sell don't do maintenance because it doesn't affect them and doesn't add much value. Only easy stuff is done or fixed up just enough to be working for sale purposes. So you always should do a good check after buying to catch those problems and fix em before they become big. Or sell it quickly, because you can also make it someone elses problem.
I haul grain not too far away from you in saskatchewan. When loading first thing I do i call banging the hoppers . Grab the crank and make sure they are closed . Where I dump they unload me so I learned the hard way never trust the gate on a hopper
Man seeing that year after year you guys dealing with drought. We got some beautiful crops in Saskatchewan but we are in desperate need for one more rain to help things fill but the damage might be done . i like videos

We would love to have you come and see our soybean harvest or corn. We start beans the last week of Sept and finish corn mid Nov. We also do a lot of corn silage hear in SE Minnesota.
I'd be really interested in a video going over yield data and how you use that info to plan out the next years crops. Rotations etc. Thumbs up, +1, for horizontal filming.
19 first year 50 series bought a leftover model year 19 in 2020 been good upgrades been nice, something got more expensive on repairs, feeder chain one of them in corn country
Hey Nick and family I hope you all are well and in good health- Boy I hate myself for moving from Shelby!!!!!!!!!!!! I sure do miss doing harvest and the fair
As long as there are insurance programs available, typically government, it is always economic o plant. Usually we can get back at minimum our expenses but we don't get ahead. If you are fallowing then it is economic to not plant those acres if in a dry climate.

Good answer on the political question, glad to hear that someone halfway across the country has similar questions

We’ve had over 8” of rain in July alone. Crazy the difference between NC and MT.

It's amazing how they even grow and produce anything with as little rain as you all get. Gods creation is amazing.

Bury the bins if there is no ground water..underground compound,. Dump over head. Then use the augers to get it out.
The snow melting would fill the bins full

Wonderful work on the blue truck
First Day of Harvest!. Have nice day
Have you ever tried unloading on the go directly into the trucks.
It should work fine on those long straight rows.
Try it and set a new trend.
Not for the peas but for the wheat.
Peas use some nitrogenffirst up then as they make it the use mostly phosphate and sulphur and trace elements.

With dryland farming there aren't underground well sources that can irrigate thousands of acres in the Prairies.
