Kudos to the three of you about how well you work together for the common good. And how you use each others strengths. I tried to farm with my brother many years ago and I had to step away. Also, truly enjoy Koby’s contributions. And, finally, your Dad wears shirts very similar to what my Dad used to wear. Good luck with your fall seeding. May you be blessed with more moisture!
Good to see you got the big bud back in action and you're finally getting the moisture you need for the winter wheat crop to help bring out of the ground and like you said you're going to put around 3,000 acres in of winter wheat maybe more as long as the moisture holds.... Hopefully you get plenty of moisture this winter to kick it back into gear to make you an excellent winter wheat crop next year all we can do is hope for the best !!!!
I don’t think Coby’s hearing is suffering, he heard the lunch box lid open while laying next to the motor. He’s fine! I work with animals for a living, I guarantee if the noise bothered him he wouldn’t stay out there. He’d beg to get in. I’d never be able to let my labs out there, they’d be jumping off constantly & probably break a leg. 😂
The good lord is saying get that winter wheat in. Because he keeps giving you the rain to keep the ground soft for planting and get the crop started growing. Prayers for bin busting harvest next year.
city folks have no idea how many acres you can plant with a couple million dollars of equipment, we just replaced all our JD green with IH red due to the moving out of Iowa and into Mexico for JD. now we can get parts and keep farming
I’m sure what they don’t show on camera is the rifles they have in the cabs of their tractors. Every farm I’ve ever been on, or worked on usually had some type of firearm onboard for coyotes or injured wild animals. Unfortunate that the latter happens but that’s the reality of running large heavy equipment with a lot of moving metal across the ground.
We had a pretty rough summer here in West Virginia. Lot of cattle farms had to cut their herds due to lack of water and grazing land. Then we had Helene come through and nearly topped some dams with all the flood water coming out of North Carolina. We might be looking at a grain and beef supply issue next year with the droughts that hit this past summer
Predators have place in nature also. I'm sure if they get over populated the Welkers and their neighbours will take action. At present levels they take care of a lot of mice, gophers, ground squirrels and voles. (as well as amusing Bob and Coby)
@@wssides The five farms I hunt are working cattle farms that are 24/7 Coyote control. They seem to have a taste for beef. I guess crop farmers really don’t have to worry about that. God bless. Be safe, stay vigilant, carry a weapon
@@jamesfitzsimons6309 Surprises me. I grew up on a mixed farm and now live is an area with some beef herds and some ranches. No one has coyote problems. Occasionally wolf and bear. Rarely cougar. Coyotes were a problem with sheep, chickens and turkeys.

At 13.06 there's a strange looking face in the clouds looking over your shoulder,,
A livestream where you guys would just sit together and do a q&a session would be awesome!
Nice work guys!
I've had a concern that Kobe could be attacked by two or more coyotes, be careful.

❤️ that potato chip buddy you have, he’s a keeper
Colby. Star of the show. Should give him a camara. Call it the Colby Cam. Chasing rabbit and such.
He sure makes a great companion for you
Good to see God's blessings on your farm !
South east Ohio we have had about 3 tenths of an inch in four months we are extreme drought here
I'm so grateful for our Farmers.
God - Family - Country. 😊
sooo beautiful.....and then..the windmills ugh
I love dogs. Can't trust people who don't love dogs.
I love to see that coal rollin!
Those KTA 1150's just sing, they don't sound like they're working hard at all.
Not at all, they sound pretty relaxed pulling those air carts. When they were ripping that government land last year they had them roaring.
good dog
Love seeing the Old John Deere making a appearance
Scott have you heard anything about the new Big Budds? In production etc?
If Coby was bothered with the noise he would come in the cab.
Man I miss those cool slow mode rebuild videos!!

Coby the Wonder Dog! Thursday just got completed
Awesome!
Here on the west coast if we don’t get over an inch of rain in one storm we call it a sprinkle. Lol
I love you guys.
God bless brothers
What about a 2024 harvest summary 🙏🤓
I emphasis with your water problems. Today was 94° here in North Texas and we are in stage one Drought water restrictions.

Neat, first time I see the windmills. Any on your farm ?
Are you considering picking up windrower/combine windrow pick up head for potential saw fly damaged fields?
Where is the big roller going? You guys are all that after you see it you got a little bud.
I think Kobe is your favorite kid!
Mr. Walker you should take a super accurate long range rifle with you. You have really good luck in seeing predators while working in the field.
Predators have place in nature also. I'm sure if they get over populated the Welkers and their neighbours will take action. At present levels they take care of a lot of mice, gophers, ground squirrels and voles. (as well as amusing Bob and Coby)

so glad you are NOT growing corn because it's $3.00 a bushel and that's the lowest i have ever seen it.
You have a lot to learn😂 grew corn for $1.25-$1.50/bushel for most of my life. Sold some in 1999 for $1.66 and really thought I hit the lottery
way too much music
