This isn't StarCraft... is it?? Is this StarCraft in an alternate universe? Is this StarCraft 3?!
What up StarCraft 2 people and welcome to part 1 of the Scion Custom Races Campaign! This is a crazy cool mod and I highly recommend you guys check it out.
Moving forward, I would like to make a channel dedicated to casting a wide range of StarCraft 2 games; anywhere from as low as Bronze to as high as Masters!
Since the majority of casts are of pro level games, I think it would be really interesting focus on StarCraft 2 ladder games from the more general population of StarCraft 2 players. Of course I will occasional host a pro-level match once in awhile, but for now I'm focused on casting StarCraft 2 from players in the community!

Fun fact: The USG don't have a tactical ai, meaning they don't use abilities. I had to make one for this specific mission. It doesn't show up anywhere else.
Speaking of ai, this mission is the only mission that does not have a custom ai. From here on out, each opponent you run into will have their own playstyle, and different tactics they deploy.
Very excited to see you play this campaign! Also because you didn’t have subtitles on, you missed the main gimmick of the mission where you can cripple the enemy as all of their production is located at the top left of the map. Which is funny because at 9:43, that message was SPECIFICALLY put there incase the player either didn't see what Molly (you) said, or you didn't have subtitles on.
Also since you missed the Tips, basically, through out the campaign your units will get upgraded, and gain new abilities.
There's a little bug that I don't think you noticed, due to the Blaze being readded by me, you can make 2 of them at once due to how Solstice reworked the mod
Really appreciate the tips man! I’ll be sure to turn subtitles on for the next missions so I don’t miss anything moving forward. I’m really impressed with the work put into this, and I’m excited to see the custom ai 👀
I’ll also be sure to explore the maps more to see what gimmicks might exist. I’m stoked to see where this goes!

I remember playing this campaign awhile back, glad to see it's finally finished! Also as Duke said, yeah each mission has its own custom ai's. For anyone wanting to get into it, the difficulty can be absurd if you can't micro as using Genetron's abilities is required to win fights against the tougher enemies. Mission 4 is a test of "how well can you split your units"
How many missions did you have access to at the time? I honestly still can’t believe it took me this long to get introduced to this mod!
@@ElleixGaming there used to be 6. There were 2 final missions but creator removed mission 6 and remade mission 4. No clue why.
@@Ryan41707 mission 4 had cool cutscense but was too boring as it was just "wait for the Talon to win the mission for you"
Mission 6 was absurd. In playtesting, no one got farther by 6 mins. Plus everything about the mission just didn't work, story wise and difficulty wise I mean

The mission is sick! Solstice made the mod but theduke made the mission, super sick use of the units. You should definitely try this out if you haven’t already!
UED looks like the people from Novas campaign
3:50 well as they're like robots or cyborgs or whatever then there wouldn't be a barracks for bio, but just different smaller robots/machines. I guess there's a "Factory" as well that builds larger machines.

I'm so glad you liked it! Me and TheDuke37 went through several iterations of what the Genetron's whole deal is before finally settling on it.
Admittedly, being better than canon Starcraft 2 isn't exactly a high bar...
That's a damn low bar, ngl.
The USG (UED) also has their own mod, would love to see you cast some melee games with that mod!!!
Or even better, play it yourself!!! :>
I really hope to see more of the UED technology in the upcoming SC3 storyline. Earth tech is must be crazy good.

Just got ton playing this myself, pretty fun/tough campaign, although mission 4 is absurd in difficulty if you can’t multitask.
How was mission 2? I’ve been hearing horror stories but I am so ready for it 💀
@@ElleixGaming the predators are annoying, so long as you remember to use abilities, and you watch Cruith, you’ll be fine
Could you imagine an RTS game like StarCraft but at any given moment you could zoom into any unit and play it first person and control it freely granting it hero abilities or something and zoom in and out at anytime to any unit almost like the battlefield 2 zoom warp mechanic. Something like that would be awesome.
The newly released executive assault 2 is pretty similar to what you've described.

So how do you find the campaign?
Tried searching for "Scion" in the custom campaign search but it doesnt shows up.
Are you selecting “arcade?” After selecting custom? Try selecting arcade on the tab right under custom and typing scion in the arcade search bar
Hmm looking at Arcade there are only 3 Results comming up when searching for Scion:
1) Scion Custom Races Units tester.
2)Round RObin Observer + Scion custom race
3)Scionic (A map it seems)
None of those seem to be a campaign.

9:43 Why would anyone make the decision to not read the tutorials? This guy, Giant Grant, whenever I try to watch someone play a cool custom map, they completely ignore the tips, I don't know why, and it is driving me insane.
