For sure! So, building confidence can be a mix of things. Setting small goals and achieving them can really help. Also, surrounding yourself with positive people who lift you up makes a big difference.

Take me down thoughts- relationships that don’t work brings me physical heart pain, I’m not smart enough to go back to school at my age, what did I do with my life, I’ll never be financially free regularly brings tears to my eyes, I’m not consistent with doing the things that would change my life

From one Mel to another, THANK YOU for all you do. For being vulnerable and showing us to embrace it too, and to better ourselves. I left my 25 year corporate career last year and you were with me on my journey to rediscover myself. I am now about to launch a product I invented. Because I made space for the idea, for me and I learned to trust myself, I am now the most proud of myself and calmest I've ever been. ❤❤

Thoughts which take me down, tall enough, skilled enough, I am almost 49, still single, feel trapped in a 1-bedroom apt. I also try to turn the age and ambitions around, ‘I can still do this, there still is time’. Then, subconsciously still have the ‘not enoughs’ inside. I am like, ‘what the hell do I do? I’m almost 50!?!’ Yikes.

Be authentic, learn to say no, stop people pleasing, learn to stand by your own opinions and surround yourself with uplifting people who make you happy. Of course you will not have positive people around you everywhere, everytime, but at least choose positive friends.

Hold on, so she had enough money to not work for years? Then had enough to get a company to formulate “100s” of formulations before they found 1 that worked? Hmmm 🤔 thought she was a waitress and Denny’s? Now it’s she was a news anchor? To do what she did is amazing and truly doesn’t need this rising from the bottom poor sleeping in my car type story for it to be relevant and inspiration for people accept.
