New Tie Rod from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ic/1AST...
This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2007-2013 Mitsubishi Outlander. The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2007 Mitsubishi Outlander
    2008 Mitsubishi Outlander
    2009 Mitsubishi Outlander
    2010 Mitsubishi Outlander
    2011 Mitsubishi Outlander
    2012 Mitsubishi Outlander
    2013 Mitsubishi Outlander

At 2:10 the narrator said to count the number of rotations when removing the tie rod end, so that the new one can be installed using the same number of rotations. Just be aware that this only works if the replacement part is very close in length to the original part. If the replacement part is longer or shorter, the jam nut will need to be moved either in or out to some degree.

You are throwing the old ball joints away. Why bother protecting the thread with the nut?!!
