    Jamaison! Thank you for your very thoughtful videos!
    I'm very new to fusing...began in Sept. of '21 because I was gifted the contents of a small home studio, and watching what works (and what sometimes doesn't work) for you is sooo very helpful!
    Most of all, you've helped me to just experiment and see what happens :-).
    Thank you!

    I was just saying to my friend Paulette from Lizano’s Glass Haus, how much I enjoy your videos. She told me this weekend you sold out of all of your decals. Congratulations. So glad I got some before they were gone.

    Another informative video! Thank you for sharing. I have not seen a texture and slump mold combined before. I think I am going to purchase both the platter and the plate!

      When the new plate arrived it was a little smaller than I expected, more like a little candy dish. I did not pay enough attention to the dimensions, so depending on your style, you might consider ordering multiples. I think I’m going to go back and order three more so that I can fire a set of four at a time.

    That's a nice mould, had a look at the underground store and it looked reasonably priced too!... But shipping to UK was big bucks :(
    would love to source a mould like this in the UK.

    I love snowflakes! What a nice idea for scrap! I tried making your gift tags and they turned out sooo cute (thank you!!) One quick question: when you predrill a hole for the ribbon, do you put fiber paper in the hole?

      I include the detailed firing schedule with ramps in the video notes. You can find them there. Thanks.

    Thanks for another great video. Never thought to use a slumping mold like this, thanks for another great idea !! If you don’t mind could you me tell what kind of kiln you have and it’s size. I’m looking for a new kiln and always looking for advice from other fusers. Your projects always come out so nice and you seem to be able to fire a lot of projects at once. Thanks again 😊

    Happy New Year Jamaison . I am wondering since I’m a newbie. Did you put the glass on the mold raw or fired first. Could you full fuse on a mold with raw glass as well. Or would it damage the mold.

    • @JamaisonSchuler
      @JamaisonSchuler  2 роки тому

      This was a single firing (check video notes for firing schedule), directly on the mold that was coated well with ZYP boron nitride spray. You could probably full fuse but with a very good bubble squeeze. I have full fused on other texture molds. Like here: ua-cam.com/video/j59iL9SSWOU/v-deo.html

      Diane, it occurred to me this morning that I may have misinterpreted your question. Yes, I’m thinking you could full fuse an ORNMANENT this size in this mold. But I have tried to full fuse and slump a full size platter in this mold in a single firing, and it doesn’t work. Hope that helps.
