Thank you for making this video! I can hardly wait to try making these cute little stars! My little kiln is analog, not programmable. Do you have any idea how slowly I should ramp up to get to full fuse? How long did you hold at 1450?
You are welcome. Truth is, it is pretty much impossible to ramp a kiln without the programming (it is impossible). The whole process lasts over 12 hours and the temps and holds are so important too. If you must try, I suggest checking the websites of Bullseye and others to get the specs they use. There are different specs for different results. Good luck.
Why do you rotate your dremel when drilling? I've never seen anyone doing or recommending that. Am I missing something important? Love your stars, by the way.
Thanks---The instructions with my first glass drilling specific bit said to do the rotation part. Nowadays I just use cheapo multi-purpose diamond bits, yet stick with the same procedure. Don't forget the water though.
Thank you!For shareing!I will try the star !
Nice job Bob, thanks for the video.
I enjoyed your instructions and the ornament. Do you have the schedule for firing the ornament in the kiln?

Thanks. I always use water. You should make more glassvideos, I really liked this. :-)
