Japanese are scared of anything that is of supernatural hence most of their "monster" is either a vengeful ghost of a woman or even a yokai. This is just an observation as my family loves to watch horror, both western and eastern. And yes, I accidentally used movies instead of games, oopsy daisy.

This one is more of the "Silent Hill" type of graphic style, It's the "still modern but you know it's made quite a while ago" kind.
