i was visiting San Francisco last week and my friends (who are dating) started fighting. The natural response for me was to slip out of the situation and explore bookstores around the city on my own. Books + solitude = peace 👍👍

If you’re ever in London, make sure you go to Waterstones Piccadilly. It’s 6 floors and one of the largest (and best) bookstores in Europe!

that's so wild that i helped motivate you in 2018, because i myself was having a really difficult time with creating videos as well. i'm definitely much happier with how things are developing now, but there for awhile i was sooooo lost.
jessethereader it’s good to know I’m not alone, as you say in your video. But yea, I totally understand that feeling, but I think being lost is part of the creative process.
Books speak to me...I never leave a bookstore empty handed though I can’t visit them a lot so a pile them up and end up paying around 70 dollars including my sister’s books 📚...yeah restraint is something I can never have
Literally me, I just went to books a million and ended up paying $60 not including my brothers books........we ended up paying a grand total of $80 altogether

Strand is definitely iconic. I visited it two years ago while being in NYC and I remember being really impressed when I found so many books in different languages - pure paradise for me :) Happy New Year from Poland!

I just wanted to say that I am so glad that I discovered your channel a few months ago. I don't really know why but your videos always make me smile and it just feels so good to watch a few of them before going to bed. This entire video is literally my dream. Visiting as many bookstores as I can in one day and I'm always interested in visiting local independet bookshops. Also, watching your vlog is very calming and I love your editing it's so good! Your vlogs are awesome and I think you're doing good. If I were you I'll be too anxious just take selfie in a public places tbh.

I’m late to the party but I have arrived! Quite a few years back I planned a day trip to NYC with three of my friends. I’m type A so I planned more than a month in advance. We got an Airbnb and the night before I was buying bus tickets and my friends all backed out. I went anyway and when I got off the bus, I went to the nearest deli, ate a sandwich and googled bookstores in NYC and that was how I spent my day. I was alone, also directional challenged, and it was still one of the best trips I’ve taken. You go where you want and not feel obligated to follow someone else because you’re too nice to say otherwise.

Its been a long time since I buy a book on an actual store and it just Amazon. This reminded me of how much I like to go to bookstores and be happy about it
The editing. The editing! You’ve done so well. We’ve got some smooth yet crisp editing for the b-roll/montages and some funny entertainment elevating editing in the talking parts. None of it over the top like what’s becoming a bit overdone nowadays. Just the perfect balance.
