    First of all let me thank you for sharing such a nice videos about you hatchery, it's awesome to have access to how you professionals work 😊. Would be great if you make a video about the use of potassium permanganate and other preventive treatment you use, and a series about discus by strains or colours would be great as well! 😁
    Keep hatching 💪 Greetings from Catalonia!

      Quarantine is done by Santarem Discus Brazil. Vitor Hugo Quaresma has access to Brazilian and European medications. He deworms, deparasites, and fattens up the wild Discus with Tropical Wild Discus formula before shipping out.

    I really like you and your channel - but please leave the poor animals where they belong: in the Amazon. You breed such great Discus - that's enough! Why do you always have to kidnap new animals from the wild?

    • @JackWattleyDiscus
      @JackWattleyDiscus  3 роки тому +1

      Two alternative's. 1 we bring them and give them the best life possible,plus attempt to breed them in captivity. 2 they become food for the other fish or indigenous people.

    • @glork6009
      @glork6009 3 роки тому

      @@JackWattleyDiscus I guess that's true. But the fish that remain in the Amazon continue to be eaten by other fish or caught by locals. Catching them for aquarists further weakens the population. I have to say that I keep Discus myself.
