How can the food being in Yishun which is far from YOUR home affect your ratings? Lol its far from you but near to others
I am European, and laksa to me is one of the best dishes to come out of Asia.
I have been lucky to have it many times because I am currently in Australia, but almost nobody in Europe knows about it because there are no Malaysian restaurants in Europe, not that I know of.
This dish is heavenly.
To make it suitable for Europeans, the laksa must have more soup and much less noodles (maybe like 4 times less noodles).
You can get laksa in any major city in Europe.
Why didn’t you go to Sungei road laksa
About the prawn that was sliced in half, the main purpose is to allow the thin slice to soak up the flavour from the soup more easily.
Disclaimer: I hear about this from a relative doing hawker business. But probably it's to save cost too lol
please help to list out the locations & name of stall in words thank you
好的 。。。
These are Nyonya Laksa and not Curry Laksa.
Goodluck guys do more love from Sri Lanka
The Katong Laksa at Queensway still haven’t close down? Any updates on whether when will they be close due to en bloc.
En bloc off liao
no sungei road?
what kind of noodles are used in laksa? trying to make my own in the UK!
Thick vermicelli
Is the soup base made with chicken stock?
To be on the safe side, cover the cockles with the hot broth or noodles for at least 20 seconds.
This will kill off most of the micro-organism that might be present in the cockles.
Do the same for char kuay teow.
i love cut half prawn coz first of all u can see the shit is gone & reduce fishing(satisfy ur need for more)~
i watch a few of your video, i hope all is not film within 1 day ? can i ask if all the food is finish?
The old school laksa must be cooked by The Peranakans...and yes otah is part of the Peranakan dishes....☺️🤤
Tried the Block 928 Yishun laksa... very good.
I'm a huge fan of Katong Laksa (George's) at 307 Changi Road. Just a tad less creamy than the famous Janggut which suits my palate well.
If you always keep emphasize on thicker nyonya laksa broth, might as well go for fish laksa or johor laksa
Will go there after this pandemic
The "Soupy" Laksa at Tanglin is one of the three "Original" versions of Laksa in Singapore. The other being the Katong and Sungei Road Laksa. Some prefer the more soupy version with less rich coconut milk. And many favor the like "burnt" flavor of the "Tow Pok" thats soaked in the broth. This version is equally if not more delicious and popular and is found all over Singapore in the coffee shops, hawker centres unlike the other two.......................
Tanjung katong area where I used to live when I studied in Spore.
In the UK, we pay around £8 for a normal bowl of Singapore Laksa
Beautiful Laksa Singapore got the best food in the world Chinese Malaysian and India has well lots of fresh foods thank you for sharing your beautiful healthy foods spices fresh foods thank you
Malaysia is better
It is for sure to save costs... Nobody bothered to slice the prawns when I was young.....
How about chatterbox in mandarin hotel?? I never skipped that one everytime i go to singapore.
How about the 313 laksa at queensway shopping centre?
TRY PENANG ASSAM LAKSA. another unorthodox version of LAKSA thingy.
Best carrot cakee please
Some of the laksa stalls intro. was really old school and classic 👍! That called 💯 real Spore authentic laksa. What's Katong laksa , man?!

YESSS Yishun 928 good good laksa stuff, eaten there couple of times eventhou im staying in east Siglap but my 328 Katong Laksa still the best of all, PERIOD 🔥🔥🔥
Sungei Road laksa is the best
Fishball noodles
I always feel like 928 laksa has not enough noodles. I always order 2x large + extra hum :D
Don't like hum but like oysters? Then you should not eat laksa and fried kway tiao
harmful or harmless
hum ful or hum less
Best Nasi Lemak please
Everyone should be informed how MSG contains about 12 percent sodium, which is two-thirds less than that contained in table salt, and data shows a 25 to 40 percent reduction in sodium is possible in specific product categories when MSG is substituted for some salt. MSG helps makes your food healthier.
Sungei Road laksa which is good and not featured
Really good laksa? not until you try our Volcano Curry Mee first haha
Sedep lame tak pergi malaysia singgapure indonesia tak ade orang jual

How about 328 katong laksa?
OK good
Why Johor not in the list?
Laksa in Singapore is SO CHEAP!!!! Just watched the Ramen ep... why would you eat Ramen for $15? when you can have 5 bowls of Laksa?
got so much hum not?
Laksa is not a Chinese dish, it is a Malay dish with the Chinese having its own version of the dish.
Its not a Malay dish, its more a "Malayanize" Chinese dish, i.e. Peranakan.
Laksa is a Chinese dish. I dont see Malays eating it raving over it. For one thing, the dish is not Halal and those ingredients like the Tau Pok and half cooked cockles are not favoured by the Malays.
You should have gotten the same price bowl at all the places.
monisha naren how to? The original katong laksa starts from $5
观音斋Best
when i see crab stick, i will walk away.
Is it only me? She is so pretty! Lol. I really wish to try katong laksa but it's not halal. 😔

@@coolpenguin4182 deluded 😆
I don't think yishun has a good laksa sungei rd is
Calling prawn as shrimp just show that you watch too much American tv and UA-camrs.
Ha..ha..it is calling soccer instead of football???
Janggut laksa is the best
IMO. Laksa is best eated with yellow noodle and thin meehoon. It will add more flavour.
Wtf, the best laksa in Singapore and Sungei Road Laksa was not even in the list???!!!! Come on!
Had janggut laksa two months ago during my last visit, overrated. not spicy, to much coconut flavour..prefer 328 katong laksa and the local hawker center laksa.
The Depot clqypot laksa is the worse one compare to others, yet expensive and tasteless.
Eh this Melayu girl
Nvr Puasa ah?
Omg what food, she is beautifull
No msg, no hum and no good
Khone lao wya??? Lmfaoo
e36m3beema s54 lmaooooooo

fussy food reviewers should not review food duh
yes so blah blah they way they review....different hawkers....have different style n personality of laksa.....
P
Tongue 👅 got problem katong laksa is 1 to 5 👎👎👎👎👎
There is no such thing as best in terms of food in Singapore, after visiting both countries, I think Malaysian food is the best
So lame. Have you been to all the stalls in Malaysia and all the stalls in Singapore? Have you compares them with a blind test or do you based on vague memory of the tastes?
I find people who quickly make judgement based on that limited experience and attribute it to a state or country to be extremely lame.
If you are compare stall A in KL to stall B in Singapore, yes, go ahead and say that stall A is better since you tried both.
😆😆😆
She is Full of Complaints as Usual Ladies!
Should change the title to Worst Laksa in Singapore
All you guys do is highlighting all the negatives rather than the positives. It makes you guys and your videos very unpleasant to watch, unlike the more prominent youtubers. I don’t think guys are very professional seeing that you don’t respect the cooks who works so hard making these dishes. More important I am very confident that you two know nothing about cooking!
Huh? I like youtubers who dare to be honest. Giving praises all the time does not add value to the video. I love their episodes because not only the viewers can appreciate and understand the taste of the food, but the chef from those stalls can also learn from them (honest feedback is the best for chefs).
Its supposed to be "opinionted food vlog", please watch others then 🤣🤣🤣
@@christianwag3015 🤣🤣 it’s been 2 years ago. I’ve moved on !
don't ear hum, don't eat laksa lor
Suzie Wan it's just people's personal preference you don't have to be a dick about it? it's not like the hum adds any flavour to thr dish
Anything in yishun is just weird
