I was looking at the official SC page, and it says Cartooned needs 8 GB HD space. That's a lot of space for a bunch of 2D spritesheets, so I'm hoping that means it comes with Carbot-style cinematic cutscenes!

Personally, I don't know any creator who's done more for Blizzard than Carbot.

@@dargenflame2500 He told you why he didn't remaster SC2 - it's got 3D models and that's way more work. So no HotS.
I lost hope for D1 remaster after Blizz just told GOG to handle that. I am supporting this so we can have Carbot Diablo 2 remastered when that happens (and now it's certain it is happening, just not sure when).

@@dargenflame2500 Yeah, but he had get a kickstarter or something for that. Plus, HotS is still getting new heroes and skins. So not only there's more work, there's always gonna be something new and they'd pretty much have to charge for every new "Carbot" hero separately.

Carbot what if you made your own campaign of the story?
If the custom map is available while using this pack then its a matter of time until someone creates it.
there is more important : others blizzard games, like diablo or HotS, doesn't have the cartooned pack, and this is terrible.

Absolutely amazing, can't wait to replay Starcraft campaign in with these beautifully smooth cartoon graphics
I think it's so cool that if you look through the background gameplays, you'll see they played on a bunch of the 8 player maps that shipped with the game.
I always feel bad that these maps. Some people spent a lot of time making these maps and were never credited, but they never get used ever, so it's nice to see them used atleast once in an 'official' video.
Now we just need cartoon versions of Warcraft, Diablo, and Heroes of the storm.

Had this pop up on my blizzard launcher to buy. At first I was confuse on what it was, but after watching the trailer video and experiencing my old vintage rugged starcraft self and my carbot fan self colliding into a full on uncontrollable nostalgic seizure complete with terran nuke explosions,"Ke ke ke" while the terran 4 and zerg 1 theme blasting in my ears. I then after picked myself off floor and wiping the foam from my mouth. I knew then at that moment I needed buy it.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy the remastered game... But now with this I have to buy it. Total must buy!
It's fascinating that the original StarCraft isn't dead by this day and age.
I still think that this gem came to be long after the game's golden days, so hopefully it'll be a thing in a newer game, and ride along real glory.
I don't even play Starcraft and yet I think I'm gonna buy it regardless
