Just an FYI if that's something you still believe : The -X% Water / Oxygen consumption are positive. They mean you consume water/oxygen slower, meaning you don't have to refill as much Really gave me the idea that you believed they were negative effects because of the - sign
I have never found mushrooms in the wild. However since I saw your video and found out they were rare I did a mission and one of the rewards was mushrooms. I now have like 300.
Seems like there's been some game changes since this video came out. Some good points I've found since picking up the game in the last week: 1. Cooked corn variants basically enable infinite sprinting stamina. Might've been a combination of things but it's easy sprinting right now. I currently worship my corn farmer. 2. Hot drinks are a useable as an additional 4th "food" buff. I guess it uses a drink stomach space. Thermos stuff has the benefit of being easy crafting away from your base as long as you bring a sickle.
Tip on the corn, instead of taking the stalks, there will be corn cobs on the ground under them. I pick them up so I continue to have a food source with the corn still growing where I found it.
Mushrooms are in the Game. I found two caves in southern ice biome with mushrooms. One is located in square M14 in the Stone Cliff. The Second i found is in the cave near polar bear boss spawn
Thermos stuff is actually good even thought they are expensive. The difference is that they dont require a space in your stomach. so you can have 3 foods and a drink. the more buffs you can get the better.... still better for late game
Imo they really need to add a thermos in the workshop store. It takes way too long to craft one. I would love to have one on most missions, but when the mission doesn’t require a lot of smelting, it’s just a bother
I think your reading the -15% water and oxygen consumption wrong i think that is you are using less water and oxygen cause its a minus %. And that makes sense cause its a high water base fruit.
The way to get 50+ Hot drink items is farming! one seed turns into 2-5 seeds and does not decay, but it means you have to go through multiple game days.
So a better xp combo is gonna be the two bacon variants and then pumpkin bread for a total of 45% bonus xp. And if you’re playing solo combine that with the lone wolf lvl two you get another 15%. And playing on hard difficulty brings you up to a staggering 85% bonus xp.
I found mushrooms in the cave bottom left of m2, also you can buy mushroom seeds from the workshop. Possibly both of these are additions since this video is made, i dont know, either way you know where to get them now.
No mention of BACON? Bacon seems to me to be one of the best - was this added to the game more recently or what am I missing? Also, do the XP buffs stack? Like flat bread plus bacon, bread, and berry jam?

There found in ice caves now
Fishes is actually correct when talking about multiple species and such.
Glass jars are not consumed when pickled carrots are eaten. This was patched before Xmas making them incredible, especially if playing with a team.

Damn I've been avoiding making the cooking benches and just eating whatever to keep me alive guess I'm just making it hard on myself lol

Useful Video! Just a FYI, after you place the potbelly stove, you can put the roof back on., over it.
Yup. And you can put the stove in the middle of the room if you have that slanted roof. I think we can put the stove outside as well.

you can also get mushroom seeds from doing missions.

@@flakdampler11 yeah kinda weird you can't. I wonder if they plan on adding it
Squash are in the desert bam. One of my most proud crops

Yes. You are correct. It reduces overall consumption. However what we where trying to say in the video is that it’s a relatively meaningless buff.
@@GameAdvisors Nice attempt at saving face.
Thank you for the "yummy yummy"!!! My kid has me saying that daily! LMAO

Highly recommend coffee and tea as they give you stamina regen and health regen. You don't need a thermos for the buff
Cooked Bacon gives a good XP buff as well.
Question.
What the point the herb bench if Meat is a all-round med-kit
Pumpkin bread decays fast when I made it last week

The Glass Jars for the Pickled Carrots do in fact not get consumed for me, maybe it was bugged during your recording?
Should be using a scythe when picking corn, much quicker and a lot more productive
same thing with wheat and yeast
the ingame craftable water cans wich one is best used for doing food with?
Mm i got try make fish curry irl! :D

An update with dried food is needed
You aren't understanding the -% oxygen/water/etc consumption. Those mean you consume them less. Those are good stats.
Mushrooms are found in ice caves
LOL negative effect on oxigen and water consomtion is good man!! It meens that you consume less!! do your homework!! @gamesadvisors
yep, the hot drinks are garbage! why the hell are they so expensive?
