@0zmose good for you on the amazing score!! You guys are gonna love it! I’ve been collecting knives for about 6 years now. And by now I have narrowed it down to USA made knives only. If it’s not made in America, I’m not interested. Or at the very least made anywhere else but China. I’m good on the chineesium.

@Adamas11 unfortunately I can't. I've spent way too much on new knives this past week and the down-payment is $300 which i don't have atm. If it was $100 or $150 down I would have ordered. Maybe next drop
So i base the price on a few things, one his colab knives with serge go for like 1100- 1300, his own knives are thousands with dead lock, knives he's done in the past have sold on secondary for more than original price. It's there first manual folder in Years aside from their utility blade, also it's a limited model im not sure how many which is likely to raise price on secondary if it's a low amount, either way I'd say yes I think it's worth it. It's unique and interesting only a few models have ever been created with this mechanism
Pt 2 Just saw the price. I get your knife Christmas morn…To cope with that I bought a PMP Spartan XL and a Baby Banter Warn and Tenible Rafe Begg Slip joint, Wukkos Flashlight..Sanuk shoes..All this week…Where I’ll have stuff with Coffee to open after putting in the day…for this week. And I still have around 450$ change left for later in the month..Like that Burlap Shaman and a Toor fighter. And that’s where I’m at. Like to get laid a few times a week instead of a big production. I should make Sara join me in a knife channel for 3 years being sweet. A couple of lives a week. Wait for the next Trump Pandemic..and maybe with a lot of luck.l.i can get a few pkg. Naw…ain’t got that kind of personality. Weird bird. Might get a free M tech.
How many chinese knives are in that collection then? That was my biggest regret in buying dozens and dozens of knives. I do not purchase knives made in china anymore, had to draw the line somewhere. I'd much rather pay extra money for it to go to the right people 😁
@@GarrettsGear They're all Chinese knives and perfectly adequate to my needs. I own a total of 8 folding knives and 2 fixed blades and don't think I'm buying many more. The rank materialism involved in "collecting" is an embarrassment. Go help a poor person somewhere, America is full of them.
I'm glad you had a transparent version to demonstrate that lock mechanism. Very cool knife!
Will there be a hawk tauh model?
😆
Flip on that thang?
That’s almost what you would have to do to afford that thang.
Got mine on order today. I missed the Orbit, missed the MUDD, missed the Rook, I'll be damned if I was gonna miss this one.
Same here. I've regretted it every time I've sold a Hawk knife
Same

You can pull it off big Jim. But I would recommend a Hinderer, Koenig or Medford for less.

💯❤️🇺🇸
Yeah, but it’s $900 😮
$950.
I stand corrected.
Yeah but it's only a 300 dollar deposit and then you'll have 3 months to eat ramon to save the $650 balance.
Just keep buying Chinese knives and Im sure itll get cheaper🙄😆
Just absurd
I always wanted a Hawk TOAD, they were cool as anything.
This knife gives me serious Deryk Munros vibes.
The Serge Rook and now the Hawk Talon are 2 of the coolest knives available imo. I'd really like to get my hands on one eventually
The knife is very attractive with a unique action. That being said, I’ll go with Shirogorov at that price point. The folder looks very beefy for edc.
The Kershaw Induction (no longer in production) used the same lock. It's the best budget knife Kershaw has ever made.
Yeah only a hand full of knives have had it

If I ever win the lottery, I'll be able to buy knives like this. I think it's beautiful. Thanks Jerad
They send the tool with the knife like the Shortcut, and they loctite the pivot from the factory so you don't have to adjust it.
Yeah I'd prefer the tool as well, locktight eventually gives
Awesome knife but out of my price range for sure. If he doesn’t make a knife called the GG Hawk Tuah then IDK what to tell him.
Just ordered the Mars Valley version after seeing his video! 👍🏼 love my Deadlock B & C and this will be a great addition
Damn! Get it Nathan.
Hell yeah! Love to hear it let them know that! You are gonna love it no doubt, I've been using it all day and it's a great user

Love that click. I have a Freedom Arms Model 97 that clicity clacks in that kind of satisfying way. Very cool Knife. El Thank.
why did I not see this video till this morning pre order spots already all gone.
I believe the inlay materials called carboti best cf. A lot of custom makers use like using it lately.
It’s fat carbon.
They shoulda named it tuah
I see what you did with the Hawk Tuah
Do you know if the thumb stud/ blade stops are pressed in or a threaded?
I asked about the HRC on their IG and they said it’s 62-63!
That is probably the most desirable expensive knife I've seen. Wish I could afford it 😅
To answer the hardening / heat treat question, Gavin stated in the comments section on his video that the M390 is treated to 62-63 HRC.
That's amazing can't wait to sharpen it
But how mutch do it cost? Ya always cover every spec but the price.....
Nice action and genius clip = bankruptcy inducing price tag 😆
900.00 😱😱😱 ? It does not talk to me at all. For this money I would prefer so many more knifes
Kershaw has rights to this lock so maybe they will come out with something we can afford.
I might actually buy this. 👌🏻
😭😭😭😭😭 beautiful, I’d love one
