During your stream when you mentioned how you can go to the ditto cave and get the ditto to transform into your bad egg with instant flee glitch and then get a smeargle to mimic that move so you could use it in a few of the battle frontier stuff, why don't you use that smeargle in your battle frontier runs for all those medalions?
I know in most of the places there, the smeargle would be like an instant lose, but it works with a few of them and I'm sure that would save a lot of time.
I've been thinking about getting the Emerald 386 rom, but seeing how bad this game is and seeing that the boss fights are ramped up quite a bit from vanilla, I'm a little scared. Help me find the courage to take the plunge.
When scrolling up during the pomeg berry glitch you mess up other parts of your save. Thats the reason he kept checking tailow, tried to mess it up in such a way it gave him the flight path to evergrande.

Just did a run of this up to Pomeg berry glitch. I lost my poison by getting an encounter when Swampert was the only guy left and I missed my attack, so poison killed me on the end of turn. I got a Lv. 8 Pooch down to 1, and tried a berry on him. It didn't work... Can you explain?
+Grant Davis The whole point of the Pomeg Berry is that it reduces your HP EVs, which in turn reduces your HP. A lvl 8 Poochenya will not only not have 10 HP EVs to lose, but even if it did, it almost certainly would make no difference to it's actual HP, as it's level is too low to make a difference, henec why Swampert (your higher level) is used for this task.
Paperclippy Play as girl because the male rival has less dialogue. Name the player I because it makes the text scroll faster than giving her an actual name (He only uses I specifically out of personal preference).

Possible time save is where there are feasible improvements to be made, and Sum of Best is the total of the best splits.. Say you get a new best split from start to 1st gym, that'd be added into the "sum of best" and further reduce the time, it's basically the fastest splits from all runs put into a sort of personal-best

actually he talked about this on stream, may is shorter than brendan, but they have different speech patterns, and brendans are wayyyy shorter, so picking brendan as a rival ends up saving time
