I understand you find it laughable.. But it isn't for most of its citizens. I have been around many cities and places around the world and there is no place I rather be but here, in Riyadh, for so many reasons.
From what I have seen, the design of the park looks great. From the looks of it, Falcon's Flight is taking some inspiration from Iron Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in using the stone wall behind it as part of the layout.
So this is going to be a bummer and I apologize: Taylor, I appreciate that you want to talk about this project. Everything they're showing looks really cool, and FF looks awesome. However, I think you're doing a disservice to everyone by not bringing up the place this park is going in. Saudi Arabia is essentially a dictatorship with a laundry list of human rights violations under its belt. I could not safely visit this park as a gay man, as my existence is punishable by death. The reason this park is being put in in the first place is to try to make people forget about that. I do not expect, or want, for you to give a nuanced political commentary on charm offenses (which is what this whole park is), but to have a video talking about the park without mentioning any of these things at all plays right into their hands. I can't speak for everyone, but I know a lot of LGBT+ people and others in the coaster community would appreciate it if you would give some thought to those who cannot appreciate this project the way most people can. Finally a good rendering of Falcons flight, layout seems to go like this and I wouldn't be surprised if this was accurate. Lift chain to the top of the canyon, turnaround similar to the likes of Coaster Through The Clouds. Dropdown vertical but not all the way down and instead have a downward launch up to top speed, and go over this massive 500 ft+ hill. After this low to the ground fast turns similar to Soaring With Dragon and Coaster Through The Clouds going around the entire park.
@@Strutsss well seeing how it goes up the mountain cliff it’ll be around 400 with the large hill being 500+, might be a launch too tho similar to lightning rod, but even then if it’s a decently fast lifthill like flying aces or millennium force 400 ft shouldn’t take all that long.

I don't doubt it will occur but it definitely seems way too ambitious. If they were going to open the park and then gradually introduce the rides that would make more senes. To open with several of the most demanding records there are seems a little optimistic to me.
I know it isn't coaster related... But if that racetrack that flanks the park is coming with it (especially if formula 1 is involved) That's some serious money
I don't think enough emphasis is being placed on the fact that if Falcon's Flight gets built, it will break the height and speed records, two records that have not been broken in a REALLY long time. I agree. Based on the information out about it, I think it would be amazing to breach 500 ft., and have 2.5 miles of track, but I think having a speed of 155 might be a bit too much. Not that they shouldn't have mulitiple launches on it, I think they should, but I don't really think the coaster should go over 120-130mph.

i was searching for alqddiyh project
Finally a good rendering of Falcons flight, layout seems to go like this and I wouldn't be surprised if this was accurate. Lift chain to the top of the canyon, turnaround similar to the likes of Coaster Through The Clouds. Dropdown vertical but not all the way down and instead have a downward launch up to top speed, and go over this massive 500 ft+ hill. After this low to the ground fast turns similar to Soaring With Dragon and Coaster Through The Clouds going around the entire park.
Hold up, they actually gonna build a 500ft+ hill?!
@@Strutsss no the hill is already there
I'm so sad that my home park will be losing the record. I think I should ride kinda ka before it loses its record even though I'm scared of it.
This might never get built and if it does it'll happen years from now, so I don't see why you should worry
You should definitely ride Kingda Ka
Don't worry, Kingda Ka will keep its record for the next handful of years to come. This park is gonna take awhile.
@@NA-ur2kg Set to open in 2025.. By that time I wish you are just doing okay..
@@saudi_gamers what?
No magic carpet themed ride? That would be insane, flying through a cave of treasures before it closes on you and disappears into the sand
Six Flags has two international theme parks already. One in Mexico and one in Canada.
Well first one outside of north america
I’m most curious of falcons flight. I wonder how they will (if it happens) maintain that ride
This is almost as shocking as Fun spot getting a Goliath(Great America) sized RMC
Something insane is happening to the theme park industry. I live 30 minutes away from where Arieforce One is going to be and I genuinely still cannot believe we're getting it. This comes as I was just starting to fall in love with Twisted Cyclone lol.
That park will be amazing, hopefully I can visit there someday
I can't wait too see the construction workers suffering through the building process while being treated like trash by the government
Coaster breaks all the records, including most deaths in construction
What about six flags dubai ? Are they still building btw thank you for this new video
That park has been cancelled
@@CoasterStudios oof that was has a great design plan
Someone made a joke about Six Flags Over Pyongyang.
Six Flags will undoubtedly regret this decision. Then again, if they aren't actually running it and on the hook maybe not.
0:51 "Will be Six Flags only International park"
Six Flags Mexico and La Ronde:
😳
sorry, poorly worded on my part. Meant to say only one outside of North America. My apologies.
@@CoasterStudios na, it OK it's funny to me :)
This literally looks like a park from a video game.
0:54 doesn't Six Flags operate Six Flags Mexico and La Ronde? It even says "Mexico and Canada" in the infographic you placed during this part. So their only operating park outside of North America then?
Yes, sorry I had a brain fart when I said that, what I meant to say what only park outside of North America.
@@CoasterStudios okay
No chance Falcons Flight gets built in that layout
What is the coaster in your outro?
Wildfire at Kolmården
Nice, Six Flags is actually able to do something~~ :O
I don't even know what to say. I've never been left this speechless by a theme park development.
Hey! That Six Flags map is missing Upper Michigan. How hard is it to look at a globe or google earth when making a map?!
The 500ft is from off the mountain not the lift hill
The lift hill will be 300ft tall
This has potential!
Mexico and Canada are international! 😊
Don't forget Six Flags had a presence in Europe. Seems like SF forgot!
Falcons Flight will definitely not look this crazy but it will look crazy
It’s actually happening..a coaster that nobody outside of Saudi Arabia will probably ever ride 👍
?
@@coastersandcarsI don’t think Saudi allows much tourism mate, and even if it did, who would wanna go there?
@@glenclough9080 They have been liberalizing / opening up quite a bit recently, spearheaded by prince MBS. 2019 is when Saudi Arabia really became accessible to international tourists. I wouldn't be shocked if within the next 5-10 years we start seeing *Israeli* tourists in Saudi Arabia. Things are changing.
@@williambrown8249unless they change the way they handle Human rights I doubt any tourist will go near the place. I’d genuinely be concerned about my safety if I was to visit Saudis Arabia..aren’t people still at risk of being kidnapped and beheaded by Islamic groups?
@@glenclough9080 Saudi Arabia is quite stable currently. Similar to the UAE or Qatar, which are both mega tourist destinations.
That said there are PLENTY of places around the world to avoid due to Islamist threats. Places like northern Nigeria, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, southern Phlippines, the Sahel region, etc.
Soo if you have a membership for every park does this park allow those memberships as well? 🤔
good question, haha!
I am laughing so hard thinking that Falcon's Flight might actually be a thing. It looks like the crazy stuff that 10yo me would come up with when playing Roller Coaster Tycoon
I don't doubt it will occur but it definitely seems way too ambitious. If they were going to open the park and then gradually introduce the rides that would make more senes. To open with several of the most demanding records there are seems a little optimistic to me.
I know it isn't coaster related...
But if that racetrack that flanks the park is coming with it (especially if formula 1 is involved)
That's some serious money
Cant wait for the top 25 coasters
I don't think enough emphasis is being placed on the fact that if Falcon's Flight gets built, it will break the height and speed records, two records that have not been broken in a REALLY long time. Kingda Ka will no longer be the tallest, and Formula Rossa will no longer be the fastest. Unless you live in the Middle East, the world's tallest coaster will no longer be easily accessible to you.
Let that sink in.
So if you are gay, or trans, or break one of any of their multiple conservative laws by existing, it just *won't* be accessible. It's already bad enough that the fastest isn't accessible to me or any other LGBTA person
@@redpandaz5146 Exactly, it would be a great coaster in a terrible location for the majority of the population
@@Nitrolord Sounds like a good summary of why it has to be so impressive!
I wonder when we will hear more about this place
Will all of the coasters include plenty of structure interaction? Saudi loves a good head chopper.
Wasn’t there a Six Flags in The Netherlands too before they changed it to Walibi? So what’s that ‘first park outside of the US’ about?
It was poor word choice on my part. I should’ve said only current Six Flags park outside of North America.
You forgot about La Ronde and Six Flags Mexico when you said it was the only international park in the Six Flags chain.
I know, I apologize. I meant to say the only one outside of North America.
Me staring at the title for 2 minuets straight: Six flags.... what have u done
Six flags: Spend 3 billion on a theme park in the middle east!
Also, me: *Faints
It's cool that Saudi Arabia invests in an amusement park but honestly, basic human rights might be a little more important subject to tackle!
@باسل الموزه Whatever you will or will not do, I just expressed my personal opinion. I won't visit a theme park in a land that lacks basic human rights.
@باسل الموزه freedom of self determination is!
Self-determination - a human right
All people have the right to decide how to live their lives
Human rights standards according to western world?
No thanks
@@Elpistolero9 Somehow the majority of the world can settle on these basic things and they are not debatable to me. I don't understand why It's so difficult to let women or gay people have rights ...
@باسل الموزه yeah, the connection of womens rights and aids is clear.....
"Falcon's Flight looks too intense for me"
there are many huge parks that were planned throughoutly and even started construction, but then abandonned
This is no surprise, as the next decade looks to be a decade of development for Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia are due to host the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup at various stadiums across the country. They are also due to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games in the Trojena ski resort and the 2034 Summer Asian Games in Riyadh.
I'm still not buying it. Ground work was started for the project in Dubai before that was cancelled. Six Flags also backed out of all the projects in China last summer (although those parks are still being built just under a different name and owner)
I honestly thought it would never happen… looks like I was wrong
Do La Ronde and Six Flags Mexico not exist as international parks?
I just hope I’m still young enough to ride these coasters when it finally gets built
To me sounds more like a playground for the prince... Where's the water coming from.... what about major evaporation there.
I feel like if this happens falcons flight is going to be a bust it’s just to insane looking I feel like it could be good but the thing is it’s going to have a layout and I think if you have a ride that fast going through elements other then a top hat a possibility an airtime hill I think it’s going to be to much like the og i305 and people are going to think it’s to intense and I love i305 and I never road it before it was changed but I think it could be a flop
Colossus sounds like that old crappy beat up wooden coaster you would make in Planet Coaster just to RMC it a day later
Well I am assuming this is six flags Dubai that was rumored over 10 years ago.
Well they've got basically unlimited funding but I really hope this won't end like almost all other parks in the UAE area... it's honestly insane how poorly the crowds are at the dubai parks. There's no way they will ever turn a profit
I doughted this park so much, when I saw all the animations back in 2019, I just knew it couldn't be real, it all looked fake. When I looked back on it in 2020, no new news about it, that made me dought it even more. Then out of completely nowhere, this happened.
