It's crazy how every single ride is like the best in the world at it's thing. Best log flume, best rapids, best mine train, best flying coaster, best top spin, top tier launch, top tier invert, top tier spinning coaster, amazing food everywhere (including genuinely great vegan food across the entire park). Phantasia is just insane.

I was lucky enough to get a night ride front row on Taron and FLY and trust me, that’s stupidly insane because the rides are even faster then they are normally and there is fog everywhere also coming from the underground and everything seems even more mythical and crazy. It’s a must witness. Go there in the December at the winter dream time when you are able to witness night rides. Empty park and insane rides. Will go there on 23 December

18:16 My brother and I went on this flatride (Der Lustige Papagei) which is intended for children ironically because there was nobody on it. The first cycle was at normal speed but then the ride operator asked us if we wanted to go faster. After we agreed that thing went nuts and I have no idea why it can even go that fast but it was one of the coolest experiences ever.

explanation for low wait times in early june: most european schools are doing exams at that time.
Funny you mention the technical side of Winja's. It used to have a lot of technical issues.
And also another fun fact about Fly. They couldn't finish the coaster before some buildings went up. They had to wait to install some supports and track sections untill the buildings were finished. The built took 4 years and it paid off.

Phantasialand is the literal and physical manifestation of the saying, "Necessity is the Mother of Invention."
Nowhere is this more visible than at Disney's US parks. Walt Disney World has so much space that many of their attractions are big, boring boxes separated miles from each other, often with little thought or attention given to immersive theming. Disneyland California, on the other hand, is boxed in on all sides and thus puts so much more effort into utilizing every square inch as efficiently as possible--and it results in a more fantastic theme park experience!

The park once had a massive Western themed section. There was a whole little town called "Silver City" that also had an old dark ride, but it got replaced by Klugheim, then there were even two Schwarzkopf coasters build in massive mountain work, but they sadly burnt down and later got replaced by River Quest and before Chiapas there were two side to side log flumes that were part of the Western section as well.

I’m pretty sure F.L.Y is still the only coaster in the world of which a POV does not exist, not even from the park

i want to try black mamba one day for sure but since i have only been on one invert that being dragonflier which was the most dissapointing coaster at dollywood so now i never think "ooohhh i wanna ride that" when i see a invert.

I have been looking forward to the Phantasia land review. We are planning a family vacation to Europe (particularly Germany) in the next few years. Would love a video ranking the must visit parks in Europe.

I spend a night at hotel rookburgh, 250 each person, but it is 100% worth it, the park entrance for 2 days, 1 night stay, night stroling through the park, food, definitly worth it!

22:31 if im not mistaken, the grand californian at the disneyland resort allows visitors of that hotel to walk straight into california adventure, or something like that.

If you go on Mystery Castle in the morning, it doesn’t do that weird ‘fake boost’ at the start - you shoot up without any warning. It’s much better in the morning.

0:30 That would be Augustusburg Palace. It was built in the early 18th century as a summer residence for the archbishop-elector of Cologne.
