I finally decided to build a bathroom inside the cabin! The main challenge I faced, in doing so, was fitting it in with the kitchen and back entrance. I also installed a lighting system on the exterior.

I'm subscribed to hundreds of UA-cam channels. Sorry to say that I don't watch most videos from start to finish. But that's not the case with your videos. I watch them from start to finish because I'm living vicariously through your cabin construction. I'm 63 and have always dreamed of owning and living in a cabin very much like yours. But I'm on the short end of life and the way things are going in the world ... I don't see that dream coming to fruition. So I take joy in watching you make your dream come true. You truly do beautiful work. I look forward to the next episode of The Outsider.

What a surprise to see you pop up on my screen!!! I've been looking forward to your next episode.....and you haven't disappointed me! The bathroom is ideal as is the location you chose. Have you given any thought to my suggestion of a plaque? I think one that will forever stay with the cabin.....perhaps it could match the pennies you put down. Generations to come....and they will come....will know the names of the two gentlemen who labored long and hard to have such a grand place!! It should honor your Dad and you. I bet your Dad is building log cabins in heaven right now. He is also bursting with pride that you are his son! God Bless young man!!

This is a man who takes pride in his workmanship, does lovely work! First time I’ve seen him. His lack of experience shows by having the cabin open underneath the floor, guaranteed to cool your cabin down lots and keep your feet cold when the temps really drop, not to mention the possibility of frozen pipes (dependent upon his set up). Hopefully he has closed it in by now.

So sorry to learn that your dad won't be with you till the end, but I'm sure his spirit is everywhere in your cabin and always will be with you.

Good to see you carrying on the legacy you and your Dad began. That washroom with panel access to the vitals of the cabin (as they evolve), is brilliant. And it takes up so little space, dividing the area for two necessary and distinct spaces for varied needs. From left to right: kitchen, washroom, mudroom. Brilliant! Very efficient use of limited area. I can see this cabin providing multiple generations with enjoyable breaks from the chaos of the world-at-large. This is a true legacy from both your Dad and you!
You have built one of most beautiful cabins I've seen. The workmanship is incredible with lots of thought to detail. Your father would have been very proud of your improvements along the way. I've always wanted to build my own cabin but at my age and health restrictions that is just a pipe dream now. I look forward to seeing the completed bathroom and any future videos. God Bless

I look forward to your videos. Every time you talk about your dad my heart breaks for you. I am a lot older than you, at 69. But I lost my dad in 2016 and I can tell you there is no good way and no good time to lose someone you love that much. Like your dad, my dad taught me everything I know about being a man. I think about my dad regularly throughout every waking hour. Your dad would indeed be very proud of you. Keep up the good work. And please keep posting these videos. I can't tell you how much joy I get out of them.

Well done with the Bathroom, and especially with enclosing the solar equipment. Had assumed the post was just a temporary placement, so I was wrong. Keep up the good work. Your Dad is with you whenever you need him... just talk to him and you will be answered, just as Our Father does. Hang in there, and enjoy the spring.

Just food for thought: the black hardware takes so much away from the beauty of your doors. Also, the bathroom door is inside, I think the pieces going across make it super heavy and also takes away from the beautiful wood.
